I suggest using ZONA paper by 3M to sand and polish. I was able to make my dice and clear resin pieces crystal clear with it. It literally looks like looking through glass.
Bro, throw a tint on the visor and you will sell as many of these as you can make. Top tier quality work.

Damn, I gotta get me one of those! Not the biggest fan of the game, but I’ve always had a thing for futuristic Japanese aesthetics; the Yoroi armor was right up my alley, and the Yokai just looks amazing. Although the Chimera core isn’t half bad, either. Just get the merrow helmet while it’s still available… the base one looks meh.

I have the horns printed in clear also, still debating on which ones to use when I start painting
@@Rosin_3d Since you only need to paint the non clear ones why not polish the clear ones like the visor and paint the others and just have them interchangable 😀.
I LOVE THIS! what is the smallest build volume you could print the visor by itself on? I need a cheaper printer than the phrozen 8k mega

The visor wasn’t hollowed so if had the stock thickness of the file

How do you clean the parts after the sanding?
Wonder if I could "unfold" this model to make it outta paper or maybe EVA foam. Obviously the visor wouldn't be clear but still. Maybe I could make it a one that hinges back like on medieval helmets.

Would be really cool idea yo make a solid cadt to poor metal into like aluminum to make a full metal helmet but keep the visor clear but tented

Really cool video, excellent work on the prints. I just got a bit nauseous watching with all the shaky camera stuff. I know it's bodycam and sped up to reduce the video time but could the video be stabilized at all? Again, really great work, just very shaky footage

I have but since the visor is round the film wrinkles up to much. I'm looking at headlight vinyl instead since it can be stretchable

Used 3.00 and 35s for bottom layers

Good Lord, mount that camera somewhere else where it doesn't move. Having it mounted on your head makes the items appear either too close, out of frame and/or unappealing.

The final product is awesome, but i think that the sanding and painting part of the video would be much nicer to watch if the camera was standing still..
Thank you, but haven’t find the right mount for my go pro that I can use while sanding or painting. I always end up being of frame while having a fixed mount.
@@Rosin_3d I know the feeling, maybe some kind of stick that you can mount to a wall and out de gopro mount should work!

Thank you!!! You can but it won’t be as clear it since sanding and the 2k clear coat increases the clearness a lot.
