Thank you so much! Children at the preschool will love their special leaves from Belfast Botanic Gardens! I found many trees from America, and even a Wollemia from Australia!
If I remember correctly, the iron was medium low. And I did peel it, but the leaf broke a little. As with any creative project or helps to experiment and practice. Good luck!
Just what I was looking for, short and sweet, thanks!

This is awesome! Thank you for posting!
Do you peel the sheet off after cooled?
You can indeed. Or cut around it and leave the paper on. But it looks better when peeled. I forgot to say that!

That's it? But then what? Can I take them out of the wax paper and use them? Or is leaving them in the wax "it"?
So cool ! My coworker just told me she used to do this as a kid
I remember doing this as a kid. With crayon shavings.
thank you for this tutorial!
This is how we did it when I was in school like 51 years ago
How hot is the iron? Thank you, this is pretty neat!

I had it about medium-low, if I recall correctly!
How hot the iron before it damages the wax paper?
Thank you!
Tried this with bookmarks. Used Reynolds cut-rite wax paper. Was a total failure. Maybe a different brand?
Have you ever tried making vellum paper from wax paper? I'm going to do some experimenting on my channel with wax paper.
Yeah but-
1. Importantly...how hot is the iron?
2. Do you peel the paper away when you're done?
If I remember correctly, the iron was medium low. And I did peel it, but the leaf broke a little. As with any creative project or helps to experiment and practice. Good luck!
