Cracking trip Sam, I recently did 320 miles in a day that was enough for an old man. One of my previous work places we had a challenge when you were on holiday you had to bring back the worst piece or maybe that’s best piece of tat you could find. We had a tat shelf and an award at the end of the year for the worst thing on the shelf.
Haha it's not something I'd like to make a habit of! That's a lot of mileage to do in a few days! Haha love that idea

Great video Sam Scotland 🏴 is brilliant on a bike especially the west coast I’ve done a lot riding in Spain 🇪🇸 which I love and the Alps all on my Super Duke Gts ( I’ve had a couple done over 50, 000miles on them and a very happy Ktm owner 😁) but Scotland is some of the best riding 👍👍

1390 SAS must be so close to release. Potentially ready for the NEC later this year, best wait for then. I miss parts of the SD but prefer more of what comes with the adventure bike package.
Very intrigued to see how that ends up looking and what it's got on it. I'm sure I'll be able to twist KTMs arm on getting a demo once the big names have had it!
The SDR is surprisingly good as a tourer. I have my 1290 EVO set up with the KTM saddlebags and tailbag, heated grips, Puig windscreen and bar riders from the adventure series. I’m cooler weather I put the hand guards on. And yes, the EVO’s suspension is so worth the money. Love that bright orange 1390.
I was genuinely really shocked at how comfortable it was. Just seemed to take everything in it's stride like it was designed to do exactly that

I'd definitely lean towards black. Just looks more subtle. Plus when I inevitably buy one and put a MotoProWorks wrap on it.. the orange would stand out around the edge of the decals

@@SamVBikes It's great that yours is one of the 'good ones' I think most people in the bike riding industry has been mugged off by KTM.
My Super Adventure is about to hit 50k miles without an issue, and this loaner did 1600 miles without issue too. I know a lot of people with KTMs that have never had an issue and equally, know many people with Triumph's, BMW's, Honda's etc who have had nothing but problems. Get a good dealer and you'll be fine
@@SamVBikes Yep of course yours did. I know of dealerships that won't take a PX unless it's a 1290. Most of them are turds.
all the hate that KTM is getting at the moment is a shame, I tell people go ride one and get back to me
KTM always seems to get hate. People seem to enjoy hating the brand for no valid reason. The new 1300GS has had a huge amount of issues. Even new model Honda's are having a load of issues, which is meant to be the 'reliable' brand.. but you barely hear about that. One tiny issue on a KTM and everyone blows it up into a worldwide hate train
