Love the channel. I live in The States. It is always interesting how road markings, signs and signals vary.
In The USA. Red means STOP, Green- GO ,Amber (known as Yellow) is a Warning to a pending stop. I dream of one day
driving in The UK. Your videos give plenty of education.

Hello. I will be livevnext Friday at 7pm talking about roundabouts Q&A session
Thanks for the video, sir. I need a clarification, please, @05.15. When you were waiting in the middle, must we wait for the light to turn red before we can turn right. What if there is a chance to turn right when light is still green?
.
Hi. Thanks for commenting. When turning right at the lights, there is no need to wait in the middle for the red light. As you mentioned, if you get an opportunity when the lights are green, you should proceed - or should I say " You MUST proceed"
I want video on turning right and left from major to minor road

The way you worded what to do on a yellow is not practical. If for example it is a 80 kilometre speed road and you are driving at let’s say 70 kilometres and there’s no other cars around or behind you and you are let’s say 20 metres from the intersection when the green changes to yellow, there’s no way you can stop on that yellow especially considering you lose about half a second in your reaction time.
My understanding is stop on the yellow if it’s safe to do so. Planting your foot on the brake to come to a full stop at 70 kilometres in 20 metres is not safe, you could have a brain haemorrhage 😵💫
Hello. Thanks for commenting. Your point is valid. I was saying the same thing BUT the DVSA way.
By law, in the UK, yellow is a STOP signal, unless you feel its unsafe to stop. That's how the police catch motorist. They say, " you went through a STOP signal" and the motorist often replies,"no , it was yellow" Case won for Police.
