There really is not a ‘trinity’ per say. YHVH has two forms, that which we call “The Father” is Spirit. The ‘son’, is the Word uttered by the Spirit, who has taken many forms throughout the accounts of the Bible in the history of His interactions with Israel (a people not the 1948 state).
The set-apart (Holy) Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, is YHVH/Yahshua (Messiah) . (James 14:15-18).

@@ralphgoreham3516 Revelation 3:14 is not saying that Jesus was the first created thing. It's saying that Jesus was the ORIGIN of creation.
Colossians 1:15 isn't saying that Jesus was "born" first. It's an expression that can be used to refer to PREEMINENCE in position.
John 3:16 is a reference to His uniqueness. (It can't mean "begotten" in the human sense, since then Jesus would have to have been "sired" in a human sense.)
It is more correctly translated "one and only Son."
Have a look at John 1:3. Everything that was created, was created through Jesus Christ. That means that He Himself cannot be a created being, but was eternally existent, as stated in the first two verses of the same chapter.
Anything in the scriptures that might seem at first glance to be saying that Jesus is not God, but a creature, must be looked at in the light of all scripture.
If you read the gospel of John with understanding, you will find references to Christ's deity all through it. The Jews certainly understood that's what Jesus Himself claimed, because they tried to stone Him for it on a number of occasions.
In John 8:58 Jesus used the tetragrammaton (the name God told Moses, Exodus 3:14) to refer to Himself.

So, am I three persons with one body, one soul and one spirit comprising me as three persons in one? I get that God is higher than us, but how can One God be Three Persons? @@YIO777You are very close to what I have been grueling over in my poor little limited brain! I have been thinking about the trinity in humanity as well, but with the three parts of mind, body, and soul. What is beginning to make sense is associating the Father as mind, the Son as body, and the Holy Spirit as soul. I've also been thinking of the trinity of the universe: energy, matter, and motion (which creates space/time). Because matter cannot be created from nothing, and energy cannot be created at all, matter must be begotten of energy... So Einstein's theory is actually backwards. Instead of E=mc2, the reality of creation must be m=E/(√c). The Energy of the Father is eternal, and begat the matter of our universe (our entire universe is referred to as "the earth" in Genesis 1:1) The Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:2), which proceeds from the Father, moves throughout all things, giving motion to our universe, in turn creating both space and time (I believe that the Holy Spirit is the scientifically theorized "dark energy" that propels the expansion of the universe). There are many other trinities in existence: 3 primary colors of light (Jesus is the "light") that make all colors, 3 atoms that make a molecule of water(Jesus is the living water, the waters above and below Gen1:2), 3 particles of an atom (proton, neutron, electron, with 3 different charges), 3 states of matter, and so many more. I hope this post helps you in some way, and I would be happy to listen to and talk more about this topic in the future.

The Bible is very clear, the Father and the Son are the only members of the godhead for now (go back and read Hebrews 2)
Jesus Christ is the only author and finisher of my faith and I believe in God and not men, so I’m going to take Jesus’ word for it as he explained it simply using his own words in John 17:3 who the Godhead is for it is written:
"And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, AND Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." (John 17:3)
Now, where do you see the 3rd person of the Trinity in this statement of fact made by Christ himself? Nowhere! Jesus just finished talking about the Holy Spirit in John Chapter 16. How did he forget to include the Holy Spirit in that sentence if the Holy Spirit was part of the Godhead? He didn’t because the Trinity was invented by men and nonsense asserted by this statement Christ made himself. In this verse, Jesus himself tells us the Trinity is a lie! Jesus said it, why would anyone believe anything else than what Jesus said?
The question is, are you willing to unlearn the lies and accept the truth by the very words of Christ? Or will you continue to be lost and deceived in believing the non-existent fairytales and teachings of men?
Simple rule: If Jesus didn't say it, don't believe it! Period!
But some people want more proof…..here you go in the words of Christ:
Jesus said for it is written:
“You heard me say to you, ‘I am leaving, but I will come back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father; for HE IS GREATER THAN I.” (John 14:28)
"Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to MY GOD and YOUR GOD.’” (John 20:17)
Did you catch that.......Jesus has a GOD, his Father! They are separate beings just as outlined in John 1:1. Jesus by his very words tells US he has a God as it is written:
“I will make those who are victorious pillars in the temple of MY GOD, and they will never leave it. I will write on them the name of MY GOD and the name of the city of MY GOD, the new Jerusalem, which will come down out of heaven from MY GOD. I will also write on them my new name.” (Revelation 3:12)
Let's take that a step further for it is written:
"The Lord MY GOD will come, bringing ALL THE ANGELS with him." (Zech. 14:5)
"Then the Lord will be king over all the earth; everyone will WORSHIP HIM AS GOD and know him BY THE SAME NAME.' (Zech. 14:9)
The humanly devised Trinity is false pagan god according to Jesus Christ and scripture!
Jesus and the scriptures tell us exactly who the Holy Spirit is several times in the Bible, yet many don’t see it and it is written more than once for example: Jesus said for it is written:
“You know about Jesus of Nazareth and how God POURED OUT ON HIM the Holy Spirit and power. He went everywhere, doing good and healing all who were under the power of the Devil, for God was with him.” (Acts 10:38)
“The SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME,” (Luke 4:18)
These statement are going to totally corroborate Jesus’ next statement of fact and prove without a shadow of doubt who and what the Holy Spirit is for it is written:
“And he said to them, “I am telling you the truth: you will see heaven open and God's ANGELS GOING UP and COMING DOWN on the Son of Man.” (John 1:51)
What did Jesus say was upon him: the ANGELS, the Spirit of the Lord. The very next chapter begins the first miracle Jesus performs in Cana and all the miracles that subsequently occurred thereafter.
Again, in Jesus’ very words he also said this for it is written:
“See that you don't despise any of these little ones. THEIR ANGELS in heaven, I tell you, are always in the presence of my Father in heaven.” (Matthew 18:10)
Jesus uses the possessive pronoun THEIR as sign of ownership for all who believe in the one who sent him. Christ sent God's Spirit (the holy angel/spirit assigned to each of those who are to receive salvation) once he ascended and returned to his Father (John 7:39).
It is made very plain and simple by the very words of Christ without having to twist or change anything to support the false doctrine of the Trinity. Angels are NOT to be worshiped (Rev. 19:10, 22:8-9) so say the very hosts of heaven/angels themselves.
Hebrews 1 tells us outright the difference between Jesus and the Holy Spirt for it is written:
"What are the ANGELS, then? They are SPIRITS who serve God and are SENT by him to HELP those who are to RECEIVE salvation." (Hebrews 1:14)
Again, very clear. There is our HELPER. Jesus said no messenger is greater than the one who sends him (John 13:16). The holy angels who were in the presence of God (Matt. 18:10) were sent by Christ (John 7:39). Are the holy angels/hosts God? No, they are of God. Christ said it himself that the Holy Spirit doesn't “speak on his own authority” and “reveals the truth about God” NOT is God. The Spirit will “show you the things to come” (John 16:13)
“This book is the record of the events that Jesus Christ revealed. God gave him this revelation in order to show to his servants what must happen very soon. Christ MADE THESE THINGS KNOWN to his servant John by SENDING HIS ANGEL to him,” (Rev. 1:1)
The doctrine of the Trinity is NOT biblical, its pagan and pre dates Christ. The bible clearly doesn't teach something that isn’t there! Those who believe that the Holy Spirit is part of the Godhead are sadly deceived. Don't get me wrong, I believe in the Holy Spirit, but it is not part the Godhead stated by the very words of Christ himself. Isn’t Christ the one who you are supposed to believe in?
The apostle Paul also points out this fact. For it is written:
“yet there is for us only one God, the Father, who is the Creator of all things and for whom we live; and there is only one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created and through whom we live. But not everyone knows this truth.” (1 Cor. 8:6-7)
Go to ALL the epistles of Paul. In his greeting, Paul acknowledges God the Father and Jesus Christ. Nowhere does he acknowledge the Holy Spirit in any of his greetings. Nowhere!
The apostle John takes it even a step further by giving us a stern warning against the false Trinity doctrine as well for it is written:
“We know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we know the true God. We live in union with the true God-in union with his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and this is eternal life. My children, keep yourselves safe from false gods!” (1 John 5:20-21)
“and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32)
Seek the truth and unlearn the lies!
Repent for the Kingdom of God is near!

Come on. If you can't explain this nonsensical concept of 3 people but really one, then why believe it? I've heard apologist reluctantly admit that they have no idea what this means or how it could be possible but regardless they believe it. This is called pluralism, not monotheism and therefore it would be idolatry. If you are praying to one being to intercede to another like John 14:6, then this is pure idolatry and is one of the worst sins imaginable. If this is the true essence of God, don't you think the bible would have mentioned this somewhere? It says all over God is one and there is no other. Why didn't it just add "in 3 parts"? It says nothing remotely similar anywhere in the entire bible. Don't you think this might have been something they needed to know pre jesus?

It’s not 3 PEOPLE, it’s 3 PERSONS. You are created in the triune image of God. You are ONE INDIVIDUAL who is made of 3 separate and distinct parts, which are your soul, your spirit, and your body. Your body is how you interact with the world, and how the world is able to know and interact with you. Your soul is the actual “you” from which all your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, etc., stem from, but your soul is invisible and can only be known by others because of your visible body. Your spirit is what connects a born again believer in Christ to God. We’re born spiritually dead, and our spirit is only made alive if its quickened by the indwelling Holy Spirit through faith in Christ. Jesus Christ is the body of God, He is God manifest in the flesh so that the world can see and know our Heavenly Father YHVH. YHVH is invisible, like our soul is invisible, and scripture says no one has seen the Father at any time, but the Son, the visible image of the invisible YHVH, has declared Him. The Holy Spirit of God is the power of God through which Jesus performed the miraculous works of God. The Holy Spirit is also invisible, just like our spirit is invisible. So we have a visible body by which others can know and relate to our invisible soul and invisible spirit. Jesus Christ is the visible manifestation, the visible body of God, through which we have been reconciled to a relationship with our invisible Heavenly Father, and His invisible Holy Spirit. So, ARE YOU 3 DIFFERENT PEOPLE, JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE A TRIUNE BEING? No, you’re not 3 different people, and God is not 3 different Gods just because He is triune either. He is ONE GOD, and the Bible refers to the Father, to Jesus, and to the Holy Spirit as all being God, because they are 3 distinct parts that make the ONE living God. You can’t separate them from one another, even though they are distinctly different from one another. You can’t separate your soul from your body and your spirit either, even though they’re also distinctly different from one another. Without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness: THAT GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory, 1 Timothy 3:16. For there are THREE who bear witness in Heaven, the Father, the Word (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit, and THESE THREE ARE ONE, 1 John 5:7. Anyone who denies Jesus Christ is God in the flesh will die in their sins and go to eternal damnation in Hell, John 8:24. Jesus Christ declares He is Almighty God, the I AM of Exodus 3:14, and the First and the Last of Isaiah 44:6 in John 8:58 & Revelation 1:17-18 & 22:13, respectively, and anyone who doesn’t believe Jesus Christ is who He says He is, YHVH in the flesh, Jehovah incarnate, they will die in their iniquities. You have no salvation if you deny Jesus Christ is Almighty Jehovah in the flesh. Jehovah says HE WAS CRUCIFIED in Zechariah 12:10, “they will look upon ME whom THEY HAVE PIERCED”. Isaiah 9:6 says Jesus Christ will be called THE MIGHTY G0D & EVERLASTING FATHER. Micah 5:2 says THE MESSIAH BORN IN BETHLEHEM is the ETERNAL ONE whose going forth IS FROM EVERLASTING. The only one I know of who is from everlasting is God, therefore the Old Testament clearly declares the Messiah is God. Acts 20:28 says we’re purchased with the blood of G0D. Not the blood of a great teacher, not the blood of a man, but it says the blood of Jesus Christ IS THE BLOOD OF G0D. Anyone who denies Jesus Christ is God has denied the Father IN CHRIST is God also, because 2 Corinthians 5:19 says GOD WAS IN CHRIST RECONCILING THE WORLD TO HIMSELF.

@@Redeemed.of.YHVH.thru.Christ 3 Persons?? Does that really make any sense to you? Persons is defined as 3 different individual people as opposed to a collective group which is "people". Either way it's 3 separate distinct beings. Your analogy of the body and soul is not an analogy at all. You are your soul. Your body would be analogous to clothing or armor. The body is just where your soul resides in this world. It isn't you at all. Therefore, you are not a triune being but you are one being which is your soul. This is why your body leaves and disintegrates while your soul never dies. You are just using terms to try to justify this nonsensical doctrine and none of these terms will make it understandable. You body doesn't talk or do anything. It's all your soul controlling everything which makes it look like your body is moving. I read your whole comment and it is all the typical rhetoric. If I said to you pre-jesus that God will manifest himself in the flesh, you would have put me in a rubber room. God was clear in Exodus that no man can see Him. He's also clear in Samuel 15 that He is not a man.
Why don't you answer my question why the ot doesn't ever mention this seemingly fundamental aspect of God? Why does it always say He is one if He really isn't? Shouldn't the fact that there is a plurality in the godhead be something we need to know?
Now let's go through some of these passages you quoted that are all wrong. I don't blame you for not knowing what these verses really say because how would you know any better if you don't know hebrew and why would you think the church would lie. Rest assured though, the lies never end. Exodus 3:14 does not say I am like the nt will continuously say. It means I will be. Zachariah 12:10 says "they will look upon me BECAUSE OF the one they have pierced". They didn't pierce God. Isiah 9:6 is all in the past tense. It already happened at the time. The boy was Hezekiah which is exactly why it says mighty God. Hezekiah in hebrew means mighty God. Micah 5 does not say everlasting. It says "from days of yore" and is referring to David who was born in Bethlehem. Billions of people have been born in Bethlehem. How could that even be a sign? I guarantee any verse you will quote that you have been taught is referring to jesus is a lie. There are zero verses in the ot that prophesize jesus. In fact, the ot is entirely antithetical to every single doctrine in the nt and I'd be happy to show you why. Personally, as soon as someone showed me one lie, and there are hundreds of them, I would be running from every church out there.
If there is no evidence from the ot that this notion is true, why would you believe it? What is clear is that idolatry is a huge sin and praying to a being besides the one God is the classic form of idolatry. If you are wrong and Paul made this whole thing up, you are in big trouble.

Isn't God all knowing? Doesn't He know who we're referring to when we confess "Jesus is Lord"? So churches of men, consider the meanings of "no one knows who The Son is except The Father nor does no one know who The Father is except The Son, and those to whom The Son reveals Him to", consider why there's a wide door and every church or almost every embracing the doctrines and traditions of men passed down by your forefathers, such as trinity. Let it be stated and set forth today, whether you will hear or forbear. There is but one confession He's pleased in as there is but One God, hear the Word of the Lord spoken to this generation. From His Volumes of Truth:
"There is one God and Father, one Lord who causes to be - YAHUWAH. There is one Savior, The Only Begotten of The Father, by whom all things consist - YAHUSHUA. And they are ONE.
If then there is only one Lord, one God and one Savior, and in our language He is called “Lord” and “God”, then would not calling anyone or anything else “Lord” or “God”, whether a false god or a man, be blasphemy?
Does not The Lord Himself search our hearts and minds, even our innermost thoughts and intentions? Does He not know who we are referring to, when we say “Jesus is Lord”? Even throughout the world, believers and unbelievers alike know the name “Jesus” (a name given to YahuShua by men) refers to He who was crucified and rose from the dead. And if we say YAHUSHUA is YAHUWAH, is this not also self-evident?
Even before the earth was made, there is ONE alone who was and is and has always been THE LORD ABSOLUTE, which by definition demands there can be only one. Thus all others, whether man, false deity or carved image, referred to as “Lord” in English or in any other language, are false! - Deceivers! Impostors! Idols! - To call any of these “Lord” is blasphemy, even on the highest order!
For thus has The Lord spoken:
    One God...
One Son, The Only Way to The Father...
    One Truth, One Word, One Messiah, One Spirit;
One Food, One Bread and One Drink...
    One Body...
    Of which I am all,
    The All in All."
Says the Lord, The Father and The Son are One, His name is YAHUSHUA-YAHUWAH! Didn't He also say "beware of false Messiah's, see i have told you beforehand."? So hear The Truth of this long haired idol arrayed in purple and scarlet.
Thus says the Lord: "Little flock, hear and understand the will and discipline of The Lord Most High. For I tell you the truth, Pentecost has been fulfilled; behold, it has passed them by unawares. Yet for some it remains, and shall also continue until the time. For many are called, yet few are chosen. Therefore have compassion and pray for them, beloved. For in the same way, you also looked to the time and waited for My words, yet they did not come. And some of you took it upon yourselves to run ahead, impatient, lacking trust, while still others waited patiently; yet all were unaware of My will, save one.
Beloved, here is wisdom: The penitent wait and bow down in thanksgiving. Yet the arrogant and false righteous stand up proudly, declaring their deliverance, a deliverance which has already passed and shall not come. For My hand is removed and My spirit taken. For only those in whom I see of Myself shall escape, and only those caught in My embrace shall fly away.
Thus as you were made to wait, so shall these within the churches of men wait. For they wait for a sound they no longer recognize, for a call to which they have shut their ears, for a shout from Him whom they have not known, a voice they have altogether rejected. For how can one who rejects My voice heed the call? And how can one who turns away from Me, embrace Me when the shout is made? For they have surely joined themselves to another, they embrace another messiah, a false christ, who looks nothing like Me. Therefore they shall surely pass through the fire, for by no other means shall they be saved.
This then is what I command you, little flock:
Have compassion, and pray for your brothers and sisters
    In the churches of men and for the unbelieving of Israel;
For they must endure much for the sake of My name...
And though the day has passed, lo it has ceased
For many, it has not altogether passed away...
For My spirit remains with the first election,
And shall be restored to the penitent after...
    Says The Lord."
Let's put an end to this meaningless discussion brothers and sisters, For The Truth of who He is, is beyond question. Whether you're last or first partakers of the Glory, remember there is only One Church: YahuShua, whom you call Jesus. He is the face and image of The Father, a just God and Savior, there is none beside Him.
For thus says the Lord: "I am The Lord your God who brought His people out of Egypt. I am The Lord God of Heaven and Earth. I am THE GOD; there is none besides Me. Behold, I came down to you in the flesh, and many beheld My face in The Redeemer. And now I am come again, even to the outpouring of My spirit on all flesh.
Yet you of this world will not receive Me! Therefore I am sending out many in My own name, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to prepare My way before Me. Yet you shall persecute them, and they shall be despised by all nations. Behold, a great hissing shall arise even among My own people, and many mocking voices shall come forth from among those who call of themselves Christian and Jew. Even from among the devout of Israel shall many step forward to stone them in word and by deed, for they do always walk in the ways of their forefathers.
Yet undaunted shall My witnesses in turn speak louder, with the power of The Lord in their nostrils! - A whirlwind of words and proclamations, miraculous signs and wonders, all in the name of YahuShua The Messiah, to the astonishment of the people! They shall blow the Trumpet and call upon the name of The Lord, in judgment and sanctification alike, yet they shall not raise a hand against another in violence. For theirs is the war of words, and strong shall the word of their mouth be.
For as it was in the days of Noah, so shall the coming of The Son of Man be; as it was in Egypt, so shall it be in the Day of Preparation: A time of judgment and wrath, plus one hundred fold. As it was in all days past when I sent out My prophets, showing mighty signs and wonders, so shall it be at this time also.
Beware, for the evil one shall attempt the same. Yet believe not these prophets, nor listen to their subtle and dark speeches. Neither believe your eyes, though you behold their false signs and wonders - trickery, dark sentences, the power of the pit, deceptions clothed in falsehoods with a veneer of light and truth.
Therefore have understanding and seek wisdom,
Know who I have sent and who I am sending...
    The prophets, My witnesses, 144,000,
Who cease not from glorifying My name day and night...
    Gifts and wonders without price,
All in the name of The One True God
And YahuShua The Messiah, The Risen One.
Therefore, My people, unless His name be called out in truth, by no means shall one tittle come to pass or be accounted as true. Turn your back on all who say, “Peace, peace,” when there is no peace! And run from those who say, “There are no more prophets of God,” as they subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not for the sake of dishonest gain! Run, I say, and do not look back! Be wary and vigilant.
And to all those who dwell in the churches of men, I say this: Pray, and open not your mouths; pray and be quiet, and open not your mouths; pray and give heed, for the mouth of The Living God has spoken. Discern the spirit of those I am sending, and listen to those I have sent already. Speak not one word against them, not in open, nor in secret. Speak not one word against them, for you speak against Me; I have sent them! Behold, they carry nothing of their own, they have taken nothing with them. For I have put My words in their mouths, My trumpet has been placed in their hands, and by the power of My own spirit shall I establish them; it is I who overshadows them.
These are they who are not defiled by the corrupt doctrines and filthy traditions of the churches of men. Indeed, they stand apart from every religion, and remain spiritually undefiled, men of valor bought for a price, set apart for My purpose. Thus they shall take of Mine, and through the power of My spirit show it to you. For that which is Mine is The Son’s also. And that which is His He shall share with those who walk in union with Him, that I may be glorified in Him and He in them.
Therefore, thus says The Lord to the churches of men and to all who lead them: You shall stay silent and open not your mouths. And you shall give heed to My every decree, and now strive to obey ALL My Commandments. Yet forbear and speak, and I Myself shall come against you, on a day you did not look for and at an hour you did not expect, striking you dumb, leaving you mute for a whole season, abased in the sight of many witnesses!
Thus those who were full shall be left empty, so they may be truly filled up, and those who were thought of as first shall be last. Yet those who were forsaken as last shall be first partakers of The Glory. And those without knowledge shall be given great knowledge, for Love has saved them. Yet those who had attained great knowledge shall be brought down to shame, so they too may be glorified in My presence, for Love has saved them."
Look past me for i'm a mere man, a servant inspired of God, a quoter. Not a prophet who heard His voice clearly as Moses or Timothy, therefore let's remember: One Lord, One God, One Savior. From everlasting to everlasting,
    Amen.

@@ralphgoreham3516, not really. Jesus was in the Garden of Eden slaying animals and saying something, about the seed of woman will bruise the serpent, while the blood was being spilled in that Garden in front of Adam and Eve. Yet the Spirit of God can indwell believers throughout the Scriptures in both the Old and New Testament. Yet no physical tent can hold God and thus Jesus can reveal God as Shekinah Glory flowing forth beyond His own body.
There was a body prepared before the foundation of the world, and Lucifer wanted to be that body prior to Calvary.
It is not incomprehensible that your brain contains you, while it is powerless for you to enact your spirit in the world fully without the full body, and yet your spirit lives on beyond this mortal coil.
None of this is incomprehensible to me. What is incomprehensible is that Paul of Tarsus could bear in his body the markings of Jesus so well that upon making ut into heaven he heard words inutterable which was heavenly creatures debating whether his ragged stoned body was their God. How could my God be so bruised in countenance (facial form) and form (bodily form) such that a man stoned to death more than once is almost making it to looking like Jesus in heaven?
I can understand why Jesus hated Esau, but why did He love Jacob? Did you know that the Muslims who will kick the dead bodies of Jews in the millions and piss on their dead carcasses and even prostrate five times a day in their own urine and among these rotting carcasses will per Zechariah 13:8-9, give themselves to my God between the second and third woe in Revelation 11:7-15, or at least some of them will and I will embrace these as my brethren in paradise for I WILL BE LIKE HIM, which means I WILL LOVE MUCH.
How is it that one so proud as Paul of Tarsus and a murderer to boot can become LIKE HIM, or have honor in heaven far beyond the honor you shall ever receive? By the grace of God he was given extended life to spread Jesus unto the world. Why? He was totally unworthy of it.
And do you think Peter was any more worthy of it? The man had to be taught of women what the Old Testament said. He was an ignorant fisherman who insulted the Gentile believers with simple faith whenever he had the chance. Furthermore even with all his ability to open his mouth and put forth his idiocy like some great leader he still jumped as high as Jewish men told him to and ignored the believers at gatherings wishing to be a GOOD JEW, so why was Peter given the responsibility to LOVE and lead people as a servant? I can understand one thing about Peter completely, while hanging on a cross and realizing death was coming to him he looked up into the heavens and then immediately look down knowing that he was completely unworthy to be nailed dead to a cross and die while still looking up, for he knew Jesus looked upwards while dead on a cross saying, "INTO THY HANDS I COMMEND MY SPIRIT" and immediately Peter looked to the ground and breathed his last knowing his spirit was completely unworthy to be dead looking upwards to the heavens.

Why don’t you quote the verse that says the Lord Jesus Christ is God then that the Holy Spirit is God, also that the Father is God. And then quote the scriptures that binds them together that shows then communicating together. And enforcing on what God has written in His word, that He has revealed Himself a little to us. We know it is impossible for God to lie. Hebrews 6v18 “That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie...”

@@ralphgoreham3516 Hello Ralph, here is a little of what Gods word says about the doctrine of the Godhead.
Isaiah chapter 44 verse 6 “Thus saith the Lord, the King of Israel, and his redeemer, the Lord of hosts: I am the first, and I am the last, and beside me there is no God.” In Gods own words he has said I am the first, and I am the last, and beside me there is no God. Just two verses further on, in verse eight, it is written “Fear not, neither be afraid; have not I told you from that time, and have declared it? You are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? Yes, there is no God; I know not any.” If God has come out and said these things and of course, He has; It is settled - there only is one God.
Now when the Lord Jesus was baptised. We’ll look in Matthew chapter 3v16 and 17 “And Jesus, when he was baptised, went up straightway out of the water; and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him.” Two things we see, 1) the Lord Jesus coming up straightway out of the water and 2) the Spirit of God descending in view like a dove and lighting upon him. We see Jesus Christ at the river and we see the Spirit of God descending, as well, the same time we hear a voice from heaven. Verse 17 “And, Lo, a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” The Father remained in heaven, He spoke from heaven, “...this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” The Spirit of God came down from heaven with the Lord Jesus already down here. A Bible teacher by the name of Willie Mullan in explaining the Godhead said once, (Do you think the Lord Jesus was a ventriloquist? projecting his voice, speaking of himself.) No, the distinctions have been made here.
Two things we see so far, there is but one God and we see also God revealing more of himself, opening up about himself, things, which was hidden from the understanding of men.
Again we see an instance of God the Father breaking through and expressing absolute pleasure in His Son. Now I’m reading from Matthew ch 17. Verse one “And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John, his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain. And was transfigured before them; and his face did shine like the sun, and his raiment was as white as the light. And behold there appeared unto them Moses and Elijah talking with him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here; if you wilt, let us make here three booths; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” Verse 5 While he yet spoke, behold a bright cloud overshadowed them; and behold, a voice out of the cloud, which said, this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, hear you him.”
When the baptism of Jesus had been completed after God the Father had expressed his pleasure in his Son. The Holy Spirit takes Jesus, chapter four verse one “Then was Jesus led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tested by the devil.” In Marks gospel we read, “And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. Mk ch 1 v 35.
The language in scripture is clear, three seperate identities.
I don’t think we need more evidence that the Father in scripture is God. John 3v16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son...”
But what of the Spirit of God
The Lord Jesus said to his disciples “If you love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; even the Spirt of truth...” John ch 14 vs 15-17 and over in the same chapter verse 26 “But the Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatever I have said unto you.”
In the Gospel of John, the Lord said in chapter 16 vs 12 and 13 “I have yet many things to say unto you, but you cannot bear them now. Nevertheless, when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you unto all truth; for he shall not speak of himself, but whatever he shall hear, that shall he speak;and he will show you things to come.”
The Lord talked of him not as an influence but as of a person.
Also Romans in chapter 8v26-27 “Likewise, the Spirit also helps our infirmity; for we know not what we should pray for as we ought; but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searches the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”
As the Lord Jesus is our great high priest and we are told in Hebrews chapter 7 verse 25 “Wherefore, he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.” The Holy Spirit intercedes as well. There is communicating going on here.
A verse in scripture that states that the Holy Spirit is God is found in Acts chapter 5v 3-4. Ananias and Sapphira sold a possession and brought the money to the apostles but they kept back part of it. “But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back part of the price of the land?” Peter continues “While it remained, was it not thine own? And after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? Why hast you conceived this thing in your heart? Thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.” v5 And Ananias, hearing these words, fell down, and died; and great fear came on all them that heard these things.” He was taken out and buried. His wife was given opportunity to set things right. v 7 “And it was about the space three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. v 8 And Peter answered her, Tell me whether you sold the land for so much? And she said, yes, for so much. v9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of them who have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. v10 Then fell she down immediately at his feet, and died...”
they both had lied to God, the Holy Spirit about the price. They didn’t need to, it was their money. How did the devil get in?
The Father is God, the Holy Spirit is God. There is so much in scripture that is clear that you can’t help, but understand the meaning.
After the Lords resurrection He appeared to his disciples but Thomas was not present. The book of John tells us in ch 20 from verse 24 “but Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples, therefore, said unto him, we have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.” He was stuffed with unbelief. Verse 26 now, “And after eight days, again his disciples were inside, and Thomas with them; then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, peace be unto you. Then said he to Thomas, reach here your finger, and reach here thy hand, and thrust it into my side; and be not faithless, but believing..”Verse 28 “And Thomas answered, and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed; blessed are they that have not seen and yet believed. Thomas acknowledged that Jesus was his Lord and his God. The Lords response confirmed Thomas’s response. There was no correction needed.
Timothy chapter 3 ends with this word, “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the nations, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
On the page we read God was manifest in the flesh and in Hebrews chapter 1 starting from verse 7 “And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. But unto the Son he saith, thy throne O God, is forever and ever; a scepter of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore, God, even your God, hath anointed you with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. And you Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands.” Heb ch1 v7-10
This is God the Father speaking to God the Son even saying thy throne O God is forever and ever. This language is unmistakably clear. All it needs is belief of the truth.
God was good to give us a look into His makeup. There is one God and that his Word has showed three individuals working together and that each show communication with each other. And that each has been shown in scripture to be God. A mystery to our minds but God has made it clear from his revealed truth.
No wander the mode of baptism is to baptise in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit . Ralph All the very best...

The doctrine of the trinity denies the death of Christ, and therefore denies the evangel given to us in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4. Christ died for sin. God cannot die. It's that simple. But what a clever way for the adversary to get people to think they believe the evangel when they really don't.

Christ died in his humanity, not in his deity. When examining Jesus you need to make two distinctions given that he is fully God and fully man. Can Jesus get hungry? As God no, as man yes. Does Jesus require sleep? As God no, as man yes. Can Jesus learn anything new? This one is tricky because as God he has all knowledge of everything, but as a man he is bound to limited knowledge (because a human brain only allows for so much input) and learns things as he grows older (like the difference between being a child and being a teenager). So no this is not divisive in any way.

What waffle ! The language of substance/essence is NOT the language of scripture but the language of Greek philosophy. In post apostolic times, gentile apologists and theologians borrowed the language of paganism to defend Christianity and win converts.
Nowhere in the OT does it talk about God being one in essence/substance but three in person.
This idea was unknown to Moses and the prophets.
Nowhere in the NT do we find Jesus teaching that God is one in essence but three in person.
Nowhere in ther rest of the NT do we find the Apostles defending such a new idea.
The truth is clear : This is post-apostolic and not found in scripture.

Unfortunately the Christian description of ‘the Trinity’ can be confusing and appear to me multi-theistic rather than monotheistic.
YHVH is Spirit. Yashua is the Word of YHVH made flesh.
That is, in the flesh form, Messiah came in a lower form from the Spirit that spoke him, in order that He might dwell among us and teach the fullness of the Father’s (Spirit) intent in His commands and instructions to those who are His children.
Our words, just like everything about us, fall short of the glory of YHVH. All glory is His. He shares his Name with no one.
Consider carefully what YHVH meant when he lamented of Israel that “my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge I will also reject you from being priest for Me; because you have forgotten the law of your Elohim, I will also forget your children.” (Hosea 4:6)
It is time for the scales on the eyes of Ephraim to be removed and for the fullness of the Gentiles to return to Torah in the fullness which Messiah taught His originally chosen Disciples. Those who became his first Apostles.

To even question "the Trinity" is like lighting a fuse. Someone's bound to explode with anger and accusations like "cult" and "heretic." But being mortal as we are, we don't "get" what it's like to be spirit and are poorly qualified to explain spiritual things.
However: in scripture we can we can find plenty of evidence *against* a trinity.
▬ Most New Testament letters begin with greetings such as "Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ." All these greetings *_include both God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ._*
But *_none of them includes the holy spirit._* Not one of them mentions or includes or addresses the holy spirit as a person.
Can we be open-minded enough to consider this as evidence that the apostles - the writers of these letters - did *not* believe the holy spirit was a third person?
▬ John 14:23 shines much-needed light on the topic. Here Jesus explains that both He and the Father would come and dwell in us. *They - the two - would make their "abode" in us:*
⚫ "Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him." (John 14:23)
Jesus said He and the Father would dwell in is. Obviously that's two, not three.
⚫ "But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him." (1 Cor 8:6)
Again, it's two: the Father and the Lord Jesus.
[It's interesting to note the similarity between this verse, and others which show creation of all things was directed (re: "of whom") by the Father . . . and was executed (re: "by whom") -by or through Jesus. Compare to Eph 3:9, Hebrews 1:1,2 and Col 1:16; only the Father and Jesus are in these verses as well.
"And we by him"??? Creation is *still* in process by or through Jesus. Through Jesus sons and daughters for the Fathers eternal family are being created, right now, as they abide in Him.]
The two - the Father and Jesus - function as one. Jesus said:
⚫ "I and my Father are one." (John 10:30) Again, that's two -"I and my Father" . . . no mention of a third person.
"God is a spirit" (John 4:24) and is holy. When we have the holy spirit in us, we have God the Father and Jesus dwelling in us -just as Jesus said in John 14:23: " . . . and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him."
Now notice Romans 8:9: the "Spirit of God" and the "Spirit of Christ" both dwell in us (not some sort of third/other person):
⚫ "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his"
▬ We see God as "us" back in Genesis:
⚫ "And God said, Let *us* make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." (Gen 1:26)
Who are the "us"? The Father and Jesus, as we saw earlier in 1 Cor 8:6 where creation was directed by the Father and executed by Jesus. Here are additional examples:
⚫ "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;" (Hebrews 1:1,2)
⚫ "And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ" (Eph 3:9).
▬ Who are the "us"? It is the Father, and the "Word" who was *with* God from the beginning . . . And *was* God . . . and *was made flesh:* Jesus.
⚫ "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him [just like the "by him" we saw back in 1 Cor 8:6] and without him was not any thing made that was made." (John 1:1-3)
⚫ "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." (John 1:14)
Here's another example of "us" in Genesis:
⚫ "And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of *us,* to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:" (Gen 3:22).
▬ Although the Father and Jesus are "one," they seemingly can have separate identity or person:
⚫ "And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was." (John 17:5)
What about the favorite trinitarian verses?
▬ 1 John 5:7-8 has questionable origin. Look up the "Johannine Comma" ("comma" referring to the phrase in 1 John 5:7,8) to get the detail on that. 1 John 5:7-8 is apparently not found in the majority of early Greek texts, but appears in later Latin texts . . . causing great controversy back in the early 1500s.
▬ Matthew 28:19 is also questionable:
⚫ "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost"
Why is it questionable? Because what the apostles actually *did* was baptize *in Jesus' name only:*
⚫ "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2:38)
⚫ "(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)" (Acts 8:16)
⚫ "And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days." (Acts 10:48)
⚫ "When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus." (Acts 19:5)
⚫ "Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?" (Romans 6:3)

He is trying to be philosophical... the answer is simple:
    1. God is one, he is invisible and it is his nature that he can not become part of creation.
    2. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the IMAGE of invisible God. Jesus as a Son of God possessed or inherited the Holy Spirit to carry out the responsibilities to create, to give life and wisdom, that's why he is the Son of God who is the image of the invisible God.

God is one in being. 3 Persons: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Each are not the other. They are not 3 gods as some mistake nor one God that shows Himself sometimes in one way and sometimes in another.
      Logically, we do not say 1 G = 3 G which would be a contradiction, but rather 1 G is 3 P.
God is spirit and yes is invisible. However, the Son put on flesh.

Jesus always prayed to His God. Jesus never said, "I am God" or taught Trinity rather he said, " My Father is greater than I am. I of my own self can do nothing" Even Muslims believe and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ mentioned in the Bible. When asked about the greatest commandment, Jesus replied, "Hear O Israel! The Lord our God is one and only Lord. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind and all your strength." Mark 12:29-30. This most important commandment (God is one and only) mentioned in the Bible by Jesus Christ should be the criterion. Ministers must be challenged on misleading statements. We cannot allow to be led around by the nose to believe in absolute nonsense (God is one in 3) that Jesus never taught. To get the correct answer, we should use our common sense and always ask the right question, "Did Jesus say that?"

If you are a Christian then you belong to the very few of us who are exactly “LIKE CHRIST.” We are a people who can never sin and we can never get sick. We are the very very few who truly understand God’s word and we are disciples who have been set free from the sicknesses of this evil world since we have overcome our sin and our ignorance of truth.
“Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭8:31-32‬ ‭NKJV‬
Most believers are not Christians though and they certainly do not understand the difference between the two. There are very very very few believers who have allowed the Holy Spirit to sanctify their heart in God’s truth and so they are not a Christian. They are simply a misguided and sinful believer since they cannot comprehend what scripture is relating.
A Christian is someone who is able to communicate with Jesus. Jesus of course knows what dwells inside everyone’s heart and so Jesus will tell a Christian whether someone they come across is saved or not or if they have blasphemed the Spirit with their misguided beliefs and so much more. This is what it means to possess the mind of Christ since a Christian possesses the ability to judge everything and everyone that they encounter.
“These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.”
    ‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭2:13-16‬ NKJV
So if you do not possess this blessing in your life then you are not a Christian. You are what God calls an unclean believer since you do not understand scripture and you are simply twisting various scripture verses in order to justify the sin and the sicknesses that you possess in your own misguided life.
Most believers will often use 1 John 1:8-1O or Romans 3:10, 3:23 and 7 to try and justify their sin and when they do they prove that they have no idea what those scriptures are even relating. These scriptures are simply relating that everyone is born a sinner who is not living righteously and so they fall short of the glory of God. They are relating that this is why we need to repent and confess our sins to God so that He will then forgive us. They also relate that anyone who believes that they have never sinned is then calling God a liar. But nowhere are they ever stating that a believer will always sin as most are foolishly believing.
Others will try to justify their sicknesses by claiming that Paul’s thorn in the flesh was a sickness or they will try to manipulate what John 9:3, 1 Timothy 5:23, Galatians 4:13 and Philippians 2:26 are relating to us in order defend why they have sickness in their lives. Some will even try to use Job and others from the Old Covenant without even realizing that we are all born in sin and that there was no forgiveness of sins in the Old Covenant since Jesus had not arrived yet. And some will claim that sin has nothing to do with sickness and they deny the very words spoken by Jesus Himself.
“But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn, a multitude being in that place. Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭5:13-14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
To prove my point try and give me just one scripture verse that states that a believer will always sin or that a believer cannot stop sinning? Give me one scripture verse that states that a Christian will possess sickness in their lives or where scripture states that sickness is a normal part of this life? Give me just one scripture verse where God stated that a person who possesses sin and sickness in their life is His child? Guess what there are none and this is why misguided believers have to twist the meaning of various scriptures since they are trying to justify why they continue in sin and why they have sickness in their lives.
Now how often do you hear people say “God loves everyone” or “God hates the sin but not the sinner” or “We are all children of God?” Well guess what, none of them are scriptural and they are all simply lies. God never said those things in scripture! These fallacies are coming from foolish people who do not understand scripture.
God created everyone but not everyone is a child of God. You can either choose to follow God and His commands and be His child or you can choose to live in sin and do evil. If you chose to live in sin then you are choosing to be a child of the devil which then proves that not everyone is a child of God.
“Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”
    ‭‭John‬ ‭8:42-44‬ ‭NIV‬‬
This is why only a remnant of us will be saved since most believers are nothing more then ignorant souls who clearly do not understand God and scripture. They have ignorantly chosen to follow the road that many believers travel and they never discovered the truth that the very few of us sanctified believers have.
“And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: ‘Hearing you will hear and shall not understand, And seeing you will see and not perceive; For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.’”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13:14-15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:13-14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“Isaiah also cries out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, The remnant will be saved. For He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness, Because the LORD will make a short work upon the earth.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭9:27-28‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“Now “If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?”
    ‭‭I Peter‬ ‭4:18‬ ‭NKJV‬
So if you can sin or if you can get sick then you definitely are not a Christian and you have fallen for the lies that are being fabricated by the millions of false preachers that exist in this evil fallen world. Jesus is our one and only teacher and He commanded us to follow Him and He did not command us to follow any foolish preacher at their man made temple or even here on this wicked internet.
“However, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says: ‘Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. What house will you build for Me? says the LORD, Or what is the place of My rest?”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭7:48-49‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
My wisdom of God’s truth came from Jesus Himself since I endured God’s purification process. My sanctification took years and it required endless hours in prayer and reading scripture and it required my faith, patience, suffering and endurance. Because I am now born of God I can no longer sin nor can I ever get sick and it is very easy for me to discern a child of God from a lost and deceived believer.
“We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.”
    ‭‭I John‬ ‭5:18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

You plainly misconstrue the writings of John, Paul, and the very words of Christ.
Paul is very talking about how he currently struggles with sin, and that’s abundantly clear if you read the entire passage. He says that now no longer is he the one doing it, but the sin which dwells in him. Paul the entire time uses the present tense, showing that he was talking of his current circumstances and not any previous circumstances.
You can’t deny that the passage to Timothy clearly says that Timothy had “frequent” stomach ailments. I find it fascinating that you brought up countless scriptural objections and then just refused to answer them.
Jesus said to cease sinning “lest something worse come upon you” since sickness is often a punishment for sin, but not exclusively.
You’re actually using one of the oldest logical fallacies in the book. Jesus’ argument went like this: “If you sin you could become sick, you have sinned, therefore you became sick.”
You’re argument attempted to flip this and went like this: “If you sin then you could become sick, you are sick, therefore this is a punishment for sin.” I’m not sure if you’re familiar with formal logic, but this is called *affirming the consequent,* and is a formal fallacy.
You can’t give any Scriptural justification for your claims, you can only make false inferences and weak refutations.

      @mikerutkowski7265 3 года назад

@@justanotherbaptistjew5659 I guess I just have to expose why you just condemned your unbelieving soul.
Some people foolishly believe that God allows people to get sick in order to display His glory and they often use the scripture in John 9 about the man being born blind.
The disciples already knew that sin was the reason that the man was born blind but they wanted Jesus to pinpoint who’s sin actually caused the blindness. Jesus did not desire to pinpoint who’s sin caused the disability to His disciples and so He simply made a generalization statement that told them how things were going to turn out so that God could be glorified.
We are all born in sin and ignorance since we live in a sinful fallen world that is ruled by the devil. So just ask yourself this one question. Why would a God who loves you and who desires to heal you want to make you sick to begin with? By claiming that God allows someone to get sick simply to display His glory you are then trying to say that God makes people sick simply to show off! Now do you honestly believe that our loving God is that cold hearted that He would make someone sick simply to get others to see the wonders that He could do? Do you honestly believe that God does that kind of thing simply to get people to believe in Him! Well if you do then tell me why Jesus told doubting Thomas “blessed are they that have not seen and yet believe?” If you believe that God allows sickness to display His glory then you are just an ignorant soul who is trying to justify the sin and sickness in your life. Sickness is not a blessing, it is definitely a curse and all you need to do is read Deuteronomy 28:15-68 to prove my point.
Scripture told us the reason why a child may be born blind, sick or whatever. It was because the parents were not following what God commanded of them and so they were living in sin. When parents live in sin they then give Satan and his demons the ability to infect their children with whatever sickness or disability they desire. What foolish doctors like to call hereditary or genetics is actually nothing more then a parent’s sins being passed onto their children through a demon spirit. Look here:
“And the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.”
      Exodus‬ ‭34:6-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Many others foolishly believe that Paul’s thorn in the flesh was a sickness and these people clearly prove that they do not understand God or scripture. What does a thorn in the flesh do? Well it causes pain and suffering. Just as Jesus suffered in the wilderness by being tempted by Satan, Jesus then allowed Satan to tempt Paul in order to make him stronger in the Holy Spirit. If Paul was able to remove the sickness from everyone who came to him then what could possibly make anyone think that he was someone who had sickness in his life? Couldn’t Paul just remove the sickness from himself as he did with those who came to him for healing? Plus if Paul was bitten by a venomous snake and yet it did no harm to him how could anyone possibly believe that Paul was someone who could then get sick himself? Many people are very misguided when it comes to their understanding of scripture and they do not understand that an infirmity means a physical weakness or ailment and it is not an actual sickness.
“And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
      ‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭12:7-10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Now allow me to give you a couple of other scriptures that misguided souls often like to use. (1 Timothy 5:23 and Galatians 4:13.) Realize that most of these people are probably reading from a bible version that has translated the word infirmity into meaning a sickness. Look here:
“Don’t drink only water. You ought to drink a little wine for the sake of your stomach because you are sick so often.”
      ‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭5:23‬ ‭NLT‬
“No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for your stomach’s sake and your frequent infirmities.”
      I Timothy‬ ‭5:23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬‬
“Surely you remember that I was sick when I first brought you the Good News.”
      ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭NLT
“You know that because of physical infirmity I preached the gospel to you at the first.”
      Galatians‬ ‭4:13‬ ‭NKJV‬
There are over 2000 different bible versions that all have different words with different meanings and this is what is leading many of you astray. Once again, an infirmity means a physical weakness but yet certain bible versions have translated this to mean a sickness. This is why the only truthful way for you to gain your knowledge of scripture is to learn it directly from Jesus Himself through testing the Spirits as commanded in 1 John 4.
Next, some misguided soul said to me that scripture clearly states that God makes people sick and they offered this scripture below:
“The Lord said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”
      Exodus‬ ‭4:11-12‬ ‭NIV‬‬
So if you read this version of the Bible, yes it does state that God makes human beings blind, deaf or mute. But know I want to give you another Bible version and show you how it reads:
“So the LORD said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the LORD? Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say.”
      Exodus‬ ‭4:11-12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
When you read this version it is not stating that God made them mute, deaf or blind but that God made the individual, whether they were someone who was deaf, mute or blind. God is not saying that He inflicted the disability on them. God loves you and He wants you to be healthy for He is the God who heals you. So once again, why would a loving God who loves you and heals you want to make you sick?
There are also many ignorant souls who try to use Job as an example for possessing sickness in their lives. Was Job a righteous man? Yes Job did live righteously but they overlook some very important things. Job was born in ignorance and in sin just as we all are so these foolish people reveal that they do not even understand the difference between the Old and the New Covenant. Job was from the Old Covenant where there was no forgiveness of sins since Jesus had not come yet so this is why Job still possessed sin in his life.
And finally, someone stated that they believe that God does heal but that His healing was not for everyone. Again this person and their logic makes absolutely zero sense. Scripture clearing states that we are not to show partially or favoritism and that to do so is a sin. So why would God then sin by showing favoritism or partiality by picking and choosing who He desires to heal? Jesus healed everyone who came to Him for healing and His apostles also did the same.
“And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, AND THEY WERE ALL HEALED.”
      ‭‭Acts‬ ‭5:14-16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
So I have now given you many examples of how misguided believers are and how they cannot comprehend that God’s healing is for everyone! Most simply will not accept the truth that it is sin that brings sickness into their lives and this is why they are destined to spend a very long eternity in hell.
Psalm 107:17. “Fools, because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, were afflicted.”
Know what this means? First transgression, it means an act that goes against a rule, a law or a code of conduct. Next iniquity, it means a wicked act or thing, sin. Finally, affliction, it means something that causes persistent pain or suffering. Translated it is saying that you are a fool if you do not follow God’s laws and commands and you go and sin because you will then have pain, suffering and sickness. Now go back and reread the Exodus 34 scripture above and maybe you might begin to understand why it is sin that allows sickness into your life and the life of your children. God commanded us to overcome sin and I can testify that I am someone who certainly has and this is why I can never get sick ever again.
“Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.”
