- When people talk about fast food a lot of times they lump burritos and tacos in the mix. But we found a place that pays a lot of attention to what goes into their food. We stop by the Chipotle Mexican Grill and chatted with Ashley Head who tells us about some of the cool things that Chipotle does that sets them apart from the competition.

Ive been working at chipotle and i can confirm its made fresh in the back everyday and let me tell ya. Nothing is worse then a customer who wants EVERYTHING on a single wrapped burrito

I haven't learned how to roll a burrito that well so I tend to ask for help 99% of the time 😩 sometimes, the cashier puts his gloves on cause he knows I'm gonna ask for help XD

i work there, you can ask for extra anything and it won’t cost extra (Unless you’re asking for extra meat) some people come through and make burritos the size of small children

@@patrickrolny1169 I meant once you get to the cold section of the line. If the person is getting gauc and chesse its easier to roll if you put the guac first and then cheese lol. (I would never put guac in a burrito as the first ingredient)

I worked at a Qdoba for 2 weeks and everybody who tried teaching me to roll a burrito tore theirs....
One thing that I have discovered is that you can make almost any mexican tasty dish with very little fat or no fat at all. The salsa is zero fat and makes any maxican dish tasty. Instead of sour cream use zero fat plain greak yogurt. Instead of tostadas or chips use bakable good tostadas with zero fat. Instead of frying your beans use the trick that some Mexican restaurants use. They give you what is is supposed to be refried beans soaked in oil, but there is zero fat or almost zero oil and zero fat. I worked in a mexican restaurant for four months as the main cooke and I learned gold. Now I eat so much Mexican food with out the remorse. You can even make Mexican rice with zero fat and enchiladas with astonishingly almost zero fat. I being wanting to create a channel reviewing the secrets. I even know how to make huge tasty tinga chicken tostadas with zero fat.
Interesting. But fats can be good for you. Mainly non saturated of course. So no need to get rid of fat completely.

I went to NIU in Dekalb Illinois. They had a Chipotle restaurant nearby the campus.i used to have a take away chicken burito. The guys there were really nice, that as I can reckon,
one burito was enough to feed me after long tiring day. It was almost 9 years ago. Now,
I miss walking down to the restaurant to grab my dinner and enjoy the rich flavour of the burito, in my dorm alone. Thats too bad we dont have this restaurant here, in Jakarta, Indonesia.

I've been to Chipotle only a few times, it's delicious. I would love to go there more but it's so awkward because I don't know the names of each meat, beans, salsas etc etc and they just stare and wait for me to choose like ffs help me out I'm new AF.

+Suk MaDiq My first time at chipotle I had the burrito bowl and I hated it. Then today I decided to give it a second chance, since I hadn't been there in months. I had the actual burrito, and that shit was fucking delicious! Would definitely frequent chipotle for more burritos!

For everyone complaining about their small burritos, just an fyi, the only thing that cost extra is extra meat, queso, and guac. You can get extra rice, beans, and salsa and it will still be the same price.

Not necessarily. If you go to the stores, a piece of avocado, pending the size/weight, is prices aroun $2.50 itself.
I love to see how much meat she really put on the burrito, they cut away from it.
One thing I have noticed recently, they've become even worse about giving meat, they're not even giving decent scoop size portions anymore.
They're trained to quickly say "you want double" when asking for just a tad more because the bowl looks weak🙄 The bowls went up and now they give less meat.
I'm only hanging on because of the chipotle rewards program.
Been going there about 300 times a year for the last 12 years, but see that dropping big-time because somebody up top changed the way they used to do things.

I don't know where you are from, but here in Southern NY a whole avocado is between .79 - 1.29.
It depends on what you get on it i ask for all of the sauces gauc and barbacoa sour cream and cheese i don't put lettuce on it because the does water down the flavors for me

I wish they would come up with a salsa or sauce that was just lime juice, salt, and cilantro..... for those of us who don't want rice in the burrito, but want that full-on lime-cilantro flavor.

False advertising! Chipotle employees are so stingy that they always give you small portions. This burrito they made would have cost you $15 because of the extra rice, beans & guacamole. They no longer make big burritos, they come out looking flat and unfilling for $7.50
I find this comment hilarious... I eat at chipotle Atleast twice a week and I've always gotten a giant burrito. I do get double meat when I get steak or chicken, but I get normal portions of everything else. Beans, rice, cheese, lettuce, medium, and hot salsa. It comes out to about $10 with a drink for double meat and about $9 with a drink for normal meat.
You must have some shitty Chipotles in your area. The burritos at my usual Chipotle are huge.
You're allowed to ask for as much extra as you want for anything except the meats and guac. It's in their training manual to oblige if you ask for more of anything else.

Dude, I worked at a Chipotle. I had plenty of customers who wanted an impossible amount of food to somehow be rolled into a burrito. And then they would get mad at me that their burrito was a complete mess because I couldn't roll it up nicely after putting all of that food on it. Lmao, if you want more ingredients, ask for a bowl because nobody has to roll all of that up, and portion sizes are typically bigger in the bowls.

That was the first thing I noticed...their hair. And the length is perfect for falling right down into your food! I waited to see if they were gona pull their up up before they actually started preparing food, but they didnt. That's when I stopped watching and checked the comments to see if anyone else was bothered by the careless hair.
