    I know I’m commenting on a two-year old video, but wanted to let folks know of one thing I did differently that worked better for me. First off, without this video I probably would have snapped at some point trying to build this using just the instructions that came with it. I originally put this together putting the support rods in the way you mentioned at around the 8:40 mark. However, this makes it harder to put the plastic screws back in if you fold it and then go to put it back up. By keeping the “screw-in” part on the inside, it is so much easier to screw the plastic screws back in. I’m guessing this is the way it is supposed to be and , like I said, it worked out well for me. I have Thrustmaster TMX wheel, not using the shifter plate, so I have the telescopic brackets pushed all the way in. This stand is very sturdy. I have to believe that people who are having stability issues may not have constructed this stand correctly. Also, the instructions that came with my stand show the table with the rounded side to the back, so it looks like they have now fixed the instructions as far as that goes. Otherwise, the instructions are terrible. So, thanks again for making the video!

      @@mecambieelnombre6872 It's very solid man, and it has rubber stops on the bottom to keep it from moving. It's fairly heavy as well, I don't think you'll have any issues with it moving. Thanks for the wonderful review brother, it was full of useful information.
    I want to mention that it looks like you have ALOT of latency between the wheel and the screen. Latency is basically how long it takes the digital wheel to turn when you turn your actual wheel. I would suggest you look into your TV's settings. Many TV's have something called "Game Mode". "Game Mode" should either be on or off depending on your TV's specific software. What ever you do, just make sure the low latency mode is selected. 15 minutes of settings surfing can greatly improve the video gaming performance of your TV for years to come.
    EVERYONE who games needs to be checking this setting on every display they use.

    @ASDF-kz2zp Год назад +2

    Great video, I just got this stand and it helped a lot. I noticed a pretty big delay when you were driving on your TV. You might want to see if your TV has a "game" mode to reduce latency. That delay you're getting would make it extremely difficult to drive.

      @ShatteredF1re7733 Год назад

      Haha, I am so glad I am not the only one who caught this. I thought I was out of my mind. I was thinking, can I really tell that there is high latency on a RUclips video. Apparently I am not the only one. #TULUPWOODSHOP make sure you fix this.

    Bedankt voor de vid, vandaag binnen gekregen en had op sommige punten dit filmpje nodig zoals met de bovenplaat (dacht zelfs even dat ik een veel te kleine plaat had) Maar het is gelukt. Voor het geld denk ik dat het prima setup is. Ik ga echter wel drie punten aanpakken. De schroeven om het los te maken en op te bergen daarvan zit een veel te strak (schroefdraad niet helemaal lekker). Ik denk dat ik daar een soort van quick disconnect schroef op ga zetten. Ten tweede het plaatje voor de pook zit te laag naar mijn smaak en ga een gat erbij boren bovenin. Ten derde ga ik morgen de uitschuifbare poten omdraaien zodat het hoekprofiel een paar cm naar binnen komt, er staat nu, naar mijn idee, teveel spanning op zodat de schroeven om op te bergen niet lekker los willen. Heb het gebouwd aan de hand van de instructie en deze vid maar ik denk dat ze moeten worden omgedraaid zoals bij een GT omega classic stand. Zie ook hier: ruclips.net/video/3XnaaguF2qE/видео.html Maar nogmaals bedankt! Duimpje omhoog!

I am confident the wheel is compatible with the mount, but I am worried about the peals, the stand where the pedals are mounted looks quite wide, Since the Thrustmaster TMX comes default with the 2 pedals, I was wondering if the 2 pedals can still be mounted to it, due to it being less wide compared to three pedals.

      (I had to use google translate as my French is not so good :)
      Yes you can fold it up, but in order to do so, you need to twist out two thumbscrews.
      I guess this is fine for most people, but it does take a minute or two (same for setting it back up of course)

    Do you know how to fold the stand?

    • @tulipwoodshop6100
      @tulipwoodshop6100  2 года назад

      You need to remove the two bolts from the base. Not the lowest ones (that’s the pivot point) but the one above.
      Also you can loosen the screws on the steering wheel plate so you can rotate it backwards to flatten it a bit more if needed.
      Hope this helps?

    This wheelstand is not worth money. Too much lateral movement. Mounting fanatec shifter is absolutely crap. Not solid, breaking down because of weight of shifter. Buy another one.

    • @tulipwoodshop6100
      @tulipwoodshop6100  2 года назад

      Well, there is always a balance between what you pay for, and the quality of the product you get. In this case; I feel this product is a very good, budget friendly steering wheel.
      If you moved on to Fanatec hardware; I can imagine your demands for the stand also increases (the forces involved with Fanatec steering wheel is also much higher).
      But thanks for your comment, as that might also be relevant to others!
