Have an 05 1200c,want to stay Sportster, considering this model. Brother had an returned a Pan America, but had too many electric issues. Has me wondering about the 1250 engine. 2 Brothers makes a nice sounding exhaust for this machine. Great Post enjoy upcoming Holidays. RIP Malcom Smith.👍
"Ducati Diaries Family " I was really surprised at how great this bike looks the motor even look bigger then I expected and I loved the exhaust, thanks reviewing.
Excellent review. Very enjoyable indeed. have the 2023 S with the Zard exhaust and it sounds fantastic. I've also replaced the indicators and rear lights, with a side mounted plate... looks great. It's my favourite in my collection, and gets the most use.
Way too many owners have way too many problems with the engine, electronics, you know I am not being negative, I been commenting for years on your channel, and sorry to blow the party, but this is just reality, you can also not sell them in the used market, this bike is sick looking, just insane, why I also test rode it , but lucky me, the service guy ride in the same area i do, and knowing me, he told me stay far and away from this thing, Harley having way too many technical issues with the bike, search online as well, how many blown engines and dash issues, engine light goes on all the time etc.... maybe in few years Harley will solve these issues, but it seems they do not have the electronics right and the engine too new and still having issues that need fixing, the pan American is better with the electronics, but the same engine, there are also issues, way too many stories of blown engines at under 5000 miles, Harley had to replace way too many of them under warranty, .. sorry to blow the party, but this is just the reality, also the biggest and fastest depreciating Harley, you can pick two years old at $10k or under.... but it will cost you dearly if you are unlucky...
Thanks brother. I appreciate your insight. It's too bad because the bike is so fun. I hope they can get the issues fixed soon. I'm likely reviewing the Pan America next week (at least capturing the footage).
@@DucatiDiaries Ducati and Guzzi figured it out, both reliable bikes in general these days…. Was not the case years ago …I am sure Harley will figure it out as well …. Especially if trump comes back and companies stop wasting time on BS …
I've heard they've narrowed down the cause of all the electrical gremlins to faulty factory batteries. Also oil filters that don't flow properly. Hence the noisy startup. Both seem like an easy fix.

Dunno. I don't think it can compete with my Indian FTR 1200.
Maybe a Indian Bobber.
I'll have to check out the FTR. Yours looks 🔥!
