Born free rigs are excellent quality you’ll just have to find the shortest version because they have a long straight tail over the rear axel and leave very little departure angle.
Looks nice the only thing I don’t like about the born free is most models have to long and straight over hang tail will possibly drag on a steeper departure angle.
@@ujointoffroad One more question, I flat tow a jeep wrangler rubicon 4xe. Would this reduce my ability to tow or would I need to add anything extra to retain my ability to tow the jeep?
We can build or provide parts for any 92 to current E series chassis. Diesels are a bit easier to convert but gas is more available and cheaper long term.
U get some of the nicest vans and rvs especially when you lift them they should make rvs like this to begin with it looks soo much better.
Thanks!
They do make them from the factory as 4x4 - Earth Roamer is one such manufacturer. It's cheaper to buy and do a conversion.
I have a nearly identical born free - it needs this so bad...

Another great RV!
Have you found that pro comp 7069 was the closest match to the stock rear wheels? Why any alloy wheel over a steel?

What is the black applique forward on the front fender(s)? Looks like it might be part of a camera system.
That's it, a camera.
Can you guys make a 3 season into am all season? Ever done that before? Can you suggest a 30’ or less motorhome that you’d like to rebuild?
We don;t do any interior work, if that's what you're asking.

Killed our kit plans, going with the VanCompass 2".
I have the same exact Born Free. How much would a 4x4 conversion like this cost?
Our turn key swaps start at ~25k
@@ujointoffroad How much would just the kit without the install be for this setup?
@@Lolerstomp with an axle & t-case ~15k

What is the easiest van to convert to 4x4? What would be the most cost effective van to have converted?

ujointoffroad thanks for the reply. What makes the diesel easier to convert?
Are you aware of anyone in the Portland Oregon area that does conversions and work as clean as yours?
I'm not, sorry!
