ich bin diesen sommer 3 wochen cordoama gesurfed und jedes mal war der forecast wirklich signifikant kleiner als die tatsächliche welle, ich hab das gefühl das ist unten an der westküste einfach so. Die Impact-Zone in Cordoama ist auch echt ruthless, wenn du auf der Sandbank sitzt kriegst du da wirklich 30 Stück aufn Kopp - echt ganz spannend
Bei 5:00, das sind doch bestimmt 4 Meter! Da hast du ja richtig gewaltige Kaventsmänner abbekommen. Das sieht dann auch aus der Perspektive vom auf dem Kiteboard stehend, richtig groß aus. Bis Kopfhoch erscheinen mir die Wellen ja vom Kiteboard immer noch recht klein.
War echt ordentlich! Vor allem wenn man auf Wasser Level liegt 😅. Kann mir gut vorstellen, dass aus eurer Kiter Perspektive viele der Wellen die uns "groß" erscheinen, Pippifax sind.
@@PippoLux Ja ich kenne das ja auch. Manchmal ist dann ja auch das Board weg, das sieht dann aus wie auf mich zurollende Berge. Anderer Effekt, Welle erscheint kleiner wenn sie direkt vor einem ist, als wenn da noch 30 Meter dazwischen sind.
I would like to focus on the capacity to understand the sea. I live in Italy and i am swimmer and surfer too. Sometimes i saw people that enter in a huge waves without having a skill for that. It's important to know the proper level to make the right decision. Before to be a good surfer everyone need to know the sea, and more important learning to read the waves. In this video you got alway the wrong decision ( where go left/right) and took a lot of closeouts. Anyway it is a good video!!😊
Thank you! Yes, it is never a good idea to go without any understanding - if in doubt, don´t go out. With that one, I wasn´t in doubt as I knew I could handle the beatdowns. What was especially tricky about that wave that day, was, that the rip pulled really strongly out, shifting also through the peak. At the center of the peak / the beginning of the sandbar, it had a particulary strong pull towards the beach. So after I missed the wave I wanted to take, I already sat to deep and took the rest of the set on the head. My skill was not enough yet, to maybe ride them as well. That´s why I decided to stop the session. What do you think would have been the right decision? Cheers!
@@PippoLux as the parents say in italy : "it's all art that enters". So you made experience and the next time you can probably manage the situation in a better way. So you did well also with no panic!

Mache ich gerne - diese hier war noch aus Ende Februar. Da ich bisher nur einmal die Woche veröffentliche, aber öfter unterwegs bin, stauen sich die Folgen :) Ich versuche aber auch etwas zu mischen. Nächste Woche kommt ne spannende Session aus dem Sommer :) Mit Barelpractice...
Wirklich ein Traum! Das jetzt war noch aus dem letzten Winter, eigentlich ist dass ja Swell / Surf Season hier. Ist aber deutlich weniger los, vielleicht auch, weil es schon recht ungemütlich werden kann, kalt. Das nächste das sehr bald kommt, ist jetzt von vor kurzem :) Ich mische immer ältere aufgenommene Sessions, mit aktuellen. Ich nehme deutlich mehr auf, als ich zum schneiden komme^^

ruthless trifft es ganz gut 😂 immer rein da! 🙈 - das gute ist, wenn es ganz klein angesagt ist, gibts meistens doch noch was surfbares.
