- A compilation of surfing waves in Sri Lanka from a damn fun day.
We surfed filmed for 3 hrs before the camera battery died, and ofcourse the swell increased and we had the break to ourselves for another 5 hours. no doubt a day to never be forgotten.

Great vid...purist surfing and purist sound. Very stoked Thanks. If i am not mistaken this is a spot near A Bay with a croc-infested lake very close to this wave. I was there in 2013 and had fun waves but smaller than yours.

I had so much fun on that wave. I even managed to miss my take off right in front of the rock (lots of backwash there) and slide on most of the rock. Big scratches on the rental board and 2 broken fins :-)

Dream season. Almost no paddle needed. Surfed it for a while at 2018..how crowded is the area these days?

Mate, dont share these places ever. Ever. Were happy for you however look at bali now because of posting. Every young person i know learning how to surf all say i want to go to uluwatu, it looks so nice. Dont post dude. Just dont do it. Show pictures to your friends but dont post.
Respectfully, you are part of what’s wrong with surfing. Think about the local economy and the programs that can be developed because of a place so special. Maybe having youngsters dream about waves isn’t the worst thing. Just my opinion.
