For more cool stuff check out www.scottiedtv....
If you look closely you can see an orange fiero stuck to that engine.
You mean the paint between the engine and the wheels?
Hahaha!
😂😂😂
OH CRAP YOUR RIGHT!
I just thought my eyes were playing tricks on me as I saw just motor with wheels!
I wonder if it will actually turn though 🤔
frfr
GM really should bring them back. Fiero is one of those cars you either love or hate the concept.
Jonathan Dragon the car has a really interesting history if you look it up. They would've keept making them but it was outselling the Corvett it think it was so they stopped making them so they didn't have to stop making the Corvett cuz the Corvett is like their signature car. I don't know exactly how it goes but I think that's why they stopped making them
It was alot cheaper than a vette.I remember engine fires being a problem.I can see someone wanting a Firebird and getting a Fiero but a Corvette buyer,no.
People hate them but are starting to turn now
@@sk8er_boi166 No.
That would be cool but I guess they can't because there's no Pontiac anymore
Nice, sure would love to see it with the hatch closed
victoryredcolorado ikr
First of all, I'm kind of scared of that. Secondly, The color of the car is obviously electric butterscotch. And third, OMFG somebody actually finished a Fiero project!! :)
lol...Thanks for checking it out!
Lol
A fiero is never finished.
@@ScottieDTV 2at is the hp
Too bad there isn't video of the guy driving it. I wanna see it do a burnout or something.
I wonder how it drives.... is it FWD now?? (most likely not..) How could he manage any transmission now? haha
Daniel Keener Says he is using an Olds Toronado transmission. Toronados had a front longitudinal V8, but were FWD. The transmission was very odd, it was mounted on the left side of the engine, and was driven by a chain running from the torque converter that was mounted on the back of the engine. The driveshafts ran under the oil pan. Google it, it is interesting.
That engine and trans in the back of the Fiero would make it RWD.
@@danielkeener5140 It'll drive like shit. Utterly pointless conversion.
Probably drive like a pick-up truck with a ton of bricks on the back.
@@ngc-fo5te lol, Shit tons of horsepower in a panneled gocart basically, Theres a reason you dont see v8s in these and mr2s often, its way too much power for such a light and tiny vehicle. Sketchy for certian. Plus they suffer from a lil thing called snap over steer.. (Atleast the mr2 does, Correct me if im wrong about the fiero) But getting traction is a huge bitch lol, I plan on getting an mr2 and swapping it with a 4 cyl diesel engine, I wont be going over 350 whp, if i even wanna do that.. my first mr2 was unfortunately a rust bucket.. mk11
I love how the air inlet is so close to the sunroof. Imagine the sound from the interior with the sunroof popped!
It's an engine with a car stuck on the front!
Now I have to see if anyone did this to a Delorian lol Slightly bigger car for more stability. Then it could finally hit that magical 88 MPH hahaha XD
This guy should be damn proud of his car.
I'm proud viewing it. ☺️ this guy built a pleasurable little ride the idle & the wheelie bars does this built justice. I don't even know what to call this: a Pro Street Car, a Hot Rod or a Road Warrior whatever it is...it is definitely unique. Man, this motor sounds sweet.
Darell Edwards !call it all 3 names.
That front end is horrible. It's stupid looking
RELAX...
I think Mike D needs a nap and his blankie.
My pleasure Brother....thanks for checking them out!
This is so quiet, that if you pulled up to a light and some teenager with is father's "hot" BMW, and he can only see the driver and forward on the Fiero. He wouldn't even know what it was that literally left him in the dust.
If it's a teen driving his dad's BMW he won't know what any of that stuff does anyway.
And helps traction...thanks for checking it out Brother!
So you have a blown v8 right?
Yes!
Is it supercharged?
Yeah...
Right on!
How about forced induction?
Lmao this guy knows nothing about cars he walks around with a camera to seem important idk
@@matmarchand2399 Yup LOLL!! And I loved it when he asked the Fiero's owner to move out of the way so he could get the shot of it that he wanted! Such BALLS!
Thanks for checking it out!
what the hell...he pulled out the stock AC Delco stereo
Yeah. Those things stunk. Lol
I got the stereo in my 80 gutless cutlass.
It is beast...look at it...lol...thanks for checking it out!
Perfect combination of 80s sports car and jet boat.... Lol
lol..Right on!
Thanks for checking it out here!
Call it Orange Juiced.......
I love it. You took a Fiero which was a disappointment to mid 80's car fans but it has its pluses and you used them to create a masterpiece. Well done!
wowww a 700 hp plus fiero, now ive seen it all.
Rob M my dad owns one. He was going to put a 900 hp crate engine I think it was. Can't remember exactly but it was really high.
Clay Mork they are cool cars, those and porshe 914 conversions are awesome
yea. when i was little when my dad first bought his i thought it loked ugly but now that im older i know thats its a pretty cool car
I have seen a video of 1000 HP Caprice 1996 Model.
Meanwhile, we’ve had 700hp+ MR2s since the late 90’s and we don’t need to swap the engine to do it either.
lol...I probably work harder to...thanks for the support Brother!
Everyone has the right to build what they want. I just don't get and will never get the build it to show it thing. Build it drive it race that sounds fun. Drinking a beer and going yeah I built but don't go over 20 n don't touch my paint. Just will never understand. But hey nice car
YeahNo101 ?
Colleen Perkins what he is saying is he doesn’t understand why people build cars to make them lawn ornaments..
Just to sit and look at, this car has an Oldsmobile 455 with a big displacement billet blower with a belt on it as wide as a conveyor belt.
An outrageous amount of money was spent on parts that are designed to withstand the abuse of racing for him not to race it braided lines the works lol
And I get what he means like why not try to win your money back lol I see a fuck Ton of money there
It’s the same concept as buying a sprint car just for it to never race.
In other words this car is a purpose built car that doesn’t serve its purpose. This car is a single digit capable car and could be out making money rather than sitting in grass lol
He did say he took it to the 1/4
@@stckarma6673 And he was babying it probably because of that chain driven transmission
Cool...thanks for checking it out!
idle it sounds like the tardis
I love the purr... I've got a Mitsubishi with a V6 that sounds the same, at first I thought it was a rough idle, or the air lines were dirty or a misfiring injector. Nope, it's just a cool quirk... maybe if I stick a supercharger on in it'll make the purr sound more impressive.
Cool...thanks for checking it out!!
whats the name of the headlight kit I want to get them
Your mamas !!
Cool...thanks for checking it out here!
For the first 3 minutes, I kept saying SHOW THE MOTOR ALEADY lol
Yeah, and then for the rest of the video I wanted to see it being driven. Didn't happen.
Cool..thanks for checking it out!!
Anything that you can imagine has been built and can be seen on the internet. God bless the internet.
Cool..thanks for checking it out!!
IT'S ALIVE!!! I know bcuz I can here it breathing heavily.
Sounds cool....thanks for checking this one out!
poor mans ferrari that can keep up with a real one
As long as they don't turn.
Are you fucking high? Or just stupid? The Fiero was gotten rid of for a reason, it was a total turd. Drove like shit & caught on fire frequently.
Cool..thanks for checking me out Brother....I bet that is a cool parking lot at work!
Just ran across this older video of this little guy, that is one badass ride. I would have to say it would be more than a handful if you had the gonads to hold the pedal down. Thanks for finding the most insane rides out there, Thanks again for the excellent work.
You're welcome Brother....Cool car for sure!!
I hate it when people turn these cars or any car for that matter into something they're not, like a Ferrari or some other kit car. This kind of build is beautiful! I'm personally planning my Fiero build to be more of a sports car, but its nice to see auto body appreciation. Thanks for the video!
How is the engine not sideways
It's an Oldsmobile Toronado transaxle and engine from the late 60s. The Toronado was a front wheel drive coupe that would hook really good, massive torque. Check out the 66-70 model years. Awesome cars.
Also the 1971 to 1977 with 455 c.i., I put one in the back of a 1967 v w bug.
I think the reason was that the Olds was already set up for front wheel drive....making this conversion just a little easier....but the 455 would have been cool!
If brad gray had done it he would have put a efi in it that u can manually adjust the computer settings for the idle sounds to me like with such a big overlap cam the wbo2 dont read properly at idle and is trying to compensate thats why the idle goes up and down just a thought
It's like a Hot Wheel. Awesome, not even a little bit practical, love it.
lol..Right on!!
I am always amazed at the critics who post negative comments about cars like these, just look and keep it to yourself. That is a remarkable feat- to get that whole package together! Nice work, too bad he didn't give you a launch ride in it...
Thanks for the comment Brother!
Home Depot Orange...I love it!
Man its these unique builds that are cool as hell.
I dont normally dig Fieros, but Tracy's is thorough. Well done with the whole build.
Cool is Cool....Glad you liked this one!!
that thing is sick
Sweet rolling engine stand
These cars were semi-fast stock. I couldn't imagine this motor in one, awesome!!
+brandy sigmon Glad You liked it!!!
its like 70rear 30 front weight distribution . lol.
Makes it easy to wheelie...lol....Thanks for checking it out!!
misilestic
the REAL little monster
this reminds me of stuff big daddy Roth would build really awesome car
+RioZLander Glad you enjoyed it!!
The Banshee, F body and then the Fiero were all Pontiac ideas.
Banshee was canceled and Chevy took it's ideas for the Vette.
F body came out of the Banshee, but GM made Z build it for Chevy first, "Camaro".
The Fiero was another attempt to bring something big to Pontiac, first Mid engine and only mid engine GM car, but GM killed off the V8 because it would cut into Vette.
So, you have a Vette killer Banshee by PMD, killed off and used by Chevy, the car is redeployed as a 4 seat car, GM says says build it for Chevy first, then you get the Fiero, that despite its teething issues was a loved car, but was forbidden to have higher power levels because of Chevy.
WTF! wow that guy can build!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very cool for sure!
I remember something like that in a CAR toons magazine. I'm a 80s kid, that is a rad fiero.
Thanks for checking this one out here!!
I miss my Fifi :( Hot ride!
50/50 weight distribution? Lol
one sick hot rod Tracy man that's beautiful!!!
+Myron Gibson Thanks for the comment....I agree...very cool Car!!
+ScottieDTV Great video, glad we got to see and hear it run. I would have enjoyed a rear view under [rear suspension].
Bowtie Thirteentwenty Glad you liked what I did get...
Hot rods are driven. This one's a trailer queen it seems.
I'd run against him ANY TIME in my 98 Merc. Tracer! lol! Call the place , baby! I travel! lol!
Nice and great sound have this tuned Fiero :)
I love how the intake over the roof
+GameCritic101 I agree...very cool!
ALWAYS WANTED A FIERO
I had a beautiful, black 1986 Fiero with the V6 engine. Absolutely loved it. Put 120,000+ miles on it in seven years.
I had a neighbor with a 2M6 Fiero back in the day and that thing would MOVE. scared the crap out of me as a kid..
My 84 never looked like that.
Cool...glad you liked it!!
Guy in the lefthand background is getting arrested hahahaha
Good chance he was!..lol
very cool, I really like how the headlights came out.
+Michael Stiller Cool!...Glad you enjoyed it!!
+Michael Stiller yup
You should try to get the car on top gear
I love these quarky undesirable cars they just have a unique presence I find interesting.
I agree...love the different!!
なんちゅうエンジン積んでるんだ!! フル加速したら千切れちゃうんじゃない!?
I hear ya...they can be cool little cars!
Dont see many intercooled roots blowers
there are prominent in Australia for off street use (since it's usually in burnout comps)
I was wondering towards the end... "Are we gonna hear this baby or what?" Then scenes switched and you answered my question with the answer I was hoping for! :-D
wow!
lol...I hear ya!!
Cool
Cool..glad you liked it!!
Gotta remember the Veyron was engineered to do that speed (takes a while to get there). But it has a short wheel base like Fieros.
Simply amazing car. I still like the Fiero's, especially the sleek gt. The car must be fun as hell to drive on the open road. Probably a girl magnet too, wow.
real talk lol..I would think....
lol...glad you liked it Brother!
WOW that is AWESOME and makes me miss my 85 Fiero.
Right on...
Cool...it's something to see for sure
Ugh I love the grand rod run haven't missed one in 10 years:) spring and fall baby!!
Have you seen another one like it?
Duh?
Does it light it up?
Duh?
Stop asking questions .
Wow, it s so fast! should go to the future in seconds !!
It would of been awesome if you stuck around to see him take it for a ride, sick ride.
Had one & was dumb enough to buy an 89 V6 4 speed. But if you like different, this thing is built. Front was a chevette, rear end was a cavaliers. My motto, Pontiac, Pontiac, I wish I had my money back =O Nice build though, he better have some sub frame reinforcements lol.
+LightWorker61 lol..Cool...Glad you enjoyed this one!
I use to have a 89 model and wish I'd of never sold it. You can fix these babies up nice.
As he was showing the front I was thinking, "Yeah.....big whoop." Then he rounded the back and I yelled, "Holy Shit!!!!"
That's a huge blower!
Inorite lol..That's why it is here!!
ScottieDTV That's a compliment man. I was speechless except for, "Holy shit!" lol
Inorite Right on!
I saw the things on time ago few years back !!!in Chicago at the car show kick ass car!
Thanks for checking it out here!!!
Wow Scottie! What a Wild Pontiac......one Bad Fiero......I would love to take it for a spin around the block.
Me to Brother...lol
lol...thanks for taking the time to check it out!!
I always liked the Fiero but they were just too damn under-powered for me to ever buy one. This is *NICE* though :)
it is...The Grand Rod Run..
Thats insane man, ty for sharing! A true work of art
That's got to about the coolest Fiero, I've ever seen! I like the later spider GTs, but this one is awesome!
Right on...Thanks for checking it out!!
Jeez it runs smooth, sounds great. How does the transmission get hooked up to the wheels though?
Front wheel drive setup...
Looks like it has perfect weight distribution.
Cool...thanks for checking it out Brother...I appreciate the comment!!
You're right. He probably did think it was cool. It's not everyday you see something like that, especially that it was a four cylinder Fiero.
I get what you're saying. Personally, I'm not the biggest fan of chrome/polished wheels either. I'm actually a bigger fan of contrast cut wheels. A lot of black with some raw machined aluminum edges to set off that black. Or color matched centers with polished lips.
I like many different kinds of cars from muscle cars to sports cars, to super cars, to hyper cars, to off road vehicles, and pretty much anything else with an engine. Not a huge road racing fan, except for superbike and TT racing.
unreal...the motor sounds like its a breathing beast!
Some guy put his life savings in an 84' Pontiac. Sigh.
