Just amazing. Reminds me of the insane Viper V10 that they shoehorned into a motorcycle frame many years ago, the Tomahawk. Supposedly capable of "over 400mph", it technically is not a motorcycle because there are 4 wheels, but they are right next to each other in the front and back. ruclips.net/video/1XehkMQpeyA/видео.html

Now that you mention, has anybody ever built a Karmann-Ghia with the engine in this configuration but then the front wheels moved at the back and cockpit turned around so that the original rear engine configuration was restored? It would look like the car goes on reverse. The back becomes the new front.
And girl... lol. I remember dad talking about Karmann Ghia's and seeing them as a kid. First time I've ever seen the name written so at first I didn't really read the name and had no idea until he said it. Pretty damn cool!

PUMA is up to make te remake of their car, the PUMA LUMIMARI, with an motorization that has 2.5 liters, and will not use the bad VW 1.6 air cooled of BEETLE, right now they are testing an version of race of it, to transfer the race upgrades to the street car.
Everything is has a price...but it was a custom build for client..
those frontlights.. :D everytime i drive on the autobahn and i see those lights in the dark, i instantly drive over to the right side, expecting a porsche.. and than a mini diesel passes :D

Somebody make the 1967 VW Karmann Ghia into the "Jetson" car. VW Karmann Ghia never have glass cover over sealed beam headlights as of 1948-66 VW Bug and 1950-67 VW Bus. Also VW fastback and squareback (wagon) models never have glass cover over sealed beam headlights from 1962-73.

It would have been interesting to see how the car would have looked with the original flat four engine in this, but I must admit, that V10 up front does look amazing!

Great vid man. Thanks for taking the time to record this for us. As a ghia guy I think they did justice to the car. They started with a pretty cool car design and made it even better and more unique. That car has got to RIP with all the HP.

As a civil engineer myself, I love to see things that are beautifully designed and manufactured, the design and workmanship put into this is as good as I have ever seen for anything, absolutely amazing work with the added madness of having a V10 in the Ghia. I absolutely love this car 😂😍

Come on guys they come with an engine that makes them a dog they're nice looking cars but they do not have any performance at all they may look fast but they're not you at least have to put a Porsche engine in them
On the other hand, where would this Karmann Ghia likely be if they hadn't rescued it from wherever?
