I’m doing the 4.6 n* with the auto that came with it. You just made my day! I’ve been over thinking this custom engine mount crap for weeks. I know they aren’t the same but the principle is. So thank you!
Very cool!! I want to do this one day!! I have a 3800SC Fiero currently but always wanted a LS Fiero!! One suggestion on your videos record them horizontally instead of vertically.
Super cool jestin thanks for the video keep up the great work excited about what you guys do over there. After my 3800 swap is finished I'll be attempting to do the LS next
Very cool guys! Thanks for these RUclips videos. Always fun and educational to watch. Can't wait to ship you my Yellow 88 Base Notchie to you for an LS4 Auto. Or maybe you ship me a "Plug & Play" LS4 Auto Craddle - Harness - ECM ????? Life is Good! Many thanks, Charlie
Nice high quality workmanship, the only improvement I see you need to do is to put some 45deg gussets on left side front mount. Most of that angle is unsupported.
Im about to embark on this adventure myself, but Im going with the 4T65 trans. Can the assembly be shifted to the left to address the clearance issues on the front of the engine?
Would a 4.8L, 5.3L, or 6.0L LS be able to be put into a Fiero in the same or a similar way? Knowing me I would have to either brace everything extensively or go away from what I generally like to do. Putting a 600HP-900HP Turbocharged LS in most of the engine swaps I like to do. Thanks
Yes you can but you have to notch the frame rails which isn’t too bad, honestly you can make 6-900hp out of the ls4 5.3 and you wouldn’t need to notch the rails sense it’s a fwd ls and bolts right up to gm fwd trans.
@@bencorder2544 when it comes to sbc I’m not sure I don’t think you have to do anything spec with the balancer but you’ll probably have to notch frame rails sense you’ll need an adapter plate
@@PickardtBuilt sbc’s im pretty sure you need the machined harmonic balancer but im considering an LS. The frame work doesn’t scare me too much but would I need a special crank pulley to fit AND would I need the moroso oil pan (if I go the ls4 route) or can I just buy the adaptor plate with the starter mount from street dreams?
no style. big v8 swaps are hold hack. a fiero with a destroked turbo 4.8 ls would have been miles cooler. rotary fiero, way more interesting. twin cam, 4 cylinder titan, almost anything other than a big chonky v8. 4 out of 10.

Dang I love it I just happen to have a fiero was going to do a 3.8 swap.not any more LS swapping it now
Dude... you're a magician! AWESOME!!! Thank you!!!!

My plan is when my 3800 SC blows up I will LS swap as well.
Watch them on a computer not a phone or buy a external screen or a galaxzfold

@@rickaland5107 What are you talking about
3800's have the quarter mile record, no need for a ls.
An '88 4t65 would be great!!
Thanks for doing this!

Excellent video Jestin! ⭐️ ⭐️
WOW I think your car looks amazing. The wheels and tires look amazing too I Can't wait until mine comes together. I have the same wheels lol
Wish a company would make a sequential transmission solution for GM Transverse.
K series transmission and an adapter plate we are building one now with a k series sequential and custom adapter plate
88’s are superior . Get over your feelings 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You and your dad have a really nice business going
As an '86 owner, I want to be mad but yeah haha it's true and I chuckled.
I wanted to build my fiero up but after seeing all the work I think I’m just gonna trade it for a regal or sell it. They do look fun and fast

Excellent work man.
As far as axles, there is a company that does make custom stronger halfshafts.
Yep, Pickardt Performance. We have our own 4340 axles
@@garypickardt1448 I did'nt know you were doing your own.

Didn’t show it in the vid but we normally do add that
thanks for the video...uhh its a unique perspective.
Is this a service you can provide for me? and if so whats the cost
Maybe you can make a video showing how to convert pre 88 to 88.
what gearbox are you using? I did a V8 Archie swap way back in the day and I used an adaptor plate.
F40 six speed manual
@@PickardtBuilt when you say F40, do you mean from a Ferarri F40?
@@billyhopkins2461, no, the F40 we use is from an 06 or 07 Pontiac G6.

Is it built? I’m thinking of swapping my Vortech new edge for a Fiero. I’ve always wanted one
Jestin, does the 88 cradle bolt uo to the 87 amd vise versa?
How it should have been from the factory
Would have killed the Corvette and Camaro sales.

You’ll still have to clearance it
Where you located boss? I need this done to my project.

@Jestin Pickardt Thanks, I didn’t know if standard GM FWD Transmissions were capable of supporting 600HP let alone 900HP.
Do you ever sell completed cars? I would love to have one of these, but this is slightly beyond my expertise.
We haven’t but that is our goal for next year
Do u do pontiac solstice?
Hey I’m on the Eastern Shore if I give you my cradle could you install your mounts on it
Yes we can message us on Facebook at Pickardt Performance
Justin, does the 88 cradle bolt up to the 87 and vise versa?
Where do you source the round mounts from?
If you’re talking about the bushings for the mounts they are energy suspension bushings
Bro post more videos!!
How much do you guys charge for fiero swaps?
Hit us up on our Facebook page at Pickardt Performance price varies depending on what you’re looking for
Can that transmission work with other sbc’s??
Yes but it’ll need an adapter plate

yes, its .5
