What a fabulous sound……wistful, sad and lonely……but full of beauty and hope. Many thanks for the music.
The man is amazing. He plays those tunes, especially Sally Gally, with passion and an intuitive feel for what the tune can become. I am speechless.
My God, Padraig McGovern is an absolute wonder on the regs!!! Love watching everything he does!!! : )
He is the best...I think he might have some training as an organist perhaps....listen to him playing The Queen of Sheeba
he was my teacher for uilleann pipes😎
I'll always love easter snow and that's what brought me here. But that second tune he goes in to...unbelievably delicious! That boy can play!
Anyone know what that second tune is called?

Easter snow is the blossom in the hedgerows at Easter time. Blackthorn I think
Another Liam O'flynn great to see::::)))
Not yet he's not.
Simply mighty!... What concert set is he playing now?
It’s a deluxe set from the late victor mullaly he plays now and flat set from andreas rogge I think
Joli Air que jouait aussi le regretté Liam O'Flynn
Upyahboyah! :-)
Anyone have a name for the march that comes after Easter Snow?
It's called "Sally Gally", see:www.irishtune.info/tune/5968/thesession.org/tunes/17222
