I love how complete your videos are, how you pay attention to every conceivable detail. I wish more of your viewers would have the wherewithal to click "like!"
yes, the performance is slightly higher when you use NGS in full N mode. I think it just comes down to how the computer upshifts the vehicle when you're accelerating. I have noticed differences in how the transmission upshifts between regular sport mode and full N mode. Hyundai has said you can achieve a 5.1 second 0-60, but only when using the vehicle in N mode, NGS, and launch control. So it translates to something measurable
I would have been all over this if they had installed smaller wheels with more meat on the tires instead of rubber-bands, and made the suspension softer. No desire to see blood in my urine after hitting the first potthole on my way to work.
@@KuyaArbee Or just buy a different car rather than have to pay to modify the suspension, get an alignment, and buy new wheels and tires, that's not cheap.
@@BoopSnoot then buy a different car! I hate the Kona they’re ugly af but I find your comment funny AF …. The N engineers wants Hyundai to make a purpose built sports suv/hatchback… lol 😂 and you’re wanting a more comfy ride? You’re expecting too much from a non luxury brand to deliver that to you from factory at the price they’re asking for….
Looks like a sporty fiat 500....For a few thousand more you can buy a Dodge Hornet with much better interior materials, AWD, vents for the back passengers,etc......This is a cheap small car that sounds like a moped.....lmao
I think the Kona is a cool car but I am yet to see anyone but a typical middle aged woman driving one. Check it out for yourself next time you see one on the road.
I'm a 39yr old male, alpha AF and I drive a Kona N. Also couldn't care less what other people think. The vehicle is a great performance value for what it is, ticks more of my boxes than basically any other vehicle in the price class, and it's fun to drive and gets good MPGs when I want it to. Zero complains from me, and I've always had pretty sweet cars.

I have the Kona 2019. All looks like this except is the middle Kona and has 4wheel drive. I just love it.
This Hyundai Kona SUV looks good in red.
Good job with your content as always Mike.
I think it offers a lot of bang for the buck. Thanks for video !
I wanted to see more about driver assist aids and cruise control.
I get entranced by your videos and I'm in love with your pointer. 🤣 Keep up the fun and informative info.
This is so comprehensive. Thanks.
Hi what brand is that sun shade or we're did you buy it from thank you?
Not sure, I bought it from Walmart years ago.
This vehicle needs a full alcantara interior option. Hide all hard plastics under alcantara. Make it look high-end.
I wonder if you works know where I can buy that third brake light spoiler? Straight from the dealership or...?
Dealership.
@@MikesCarInfo nice. Thanks!
Why do people make reviews for N model vehicles and never place it in N mode??
N mode is just a customizable drive mode.
That is incorrect. I own this car. N mode is able to be customized, however it is the full performance mode. Not sport

You could always go aftermarket

@@KuyaArbee yeah you can just buy a set of wheels and tires, smaller and beefier. No need to rework the suspension. Not that expensive

These lowered look like hatch backs. If you care what people think you look like in a car then you have other issues to deal with.
