Hello! I searched for this specific tune by Everett Titcomb to help me learn how to sing this hymn by ear, which I found in my second hand hymnal on Friday, July 19, 2024. I found your video, and the first stanza after the intro was very helpful for learning and singing it. Sadly the rest of the stanzas that played didn't help me to follow or stay in tune to sing the other three stanzas consecutively. I resorted to taking the video back to the first stanza 4x to sing the whole hymn. That worked. Sadly, a number of videos for piano and especially organ music pieces for hymns change the play from stanza to stanza. It's extremely difficult to learn and sing a new hymn with them as music teachers, but sometimes they are the only ones available for not so common or popular old hymns. 😢
