thanks 😊
this and your other video with the same size are the videos i needed. thank you. gold standard for showing what fits! nobody else does this they just say "this fits and no issues" and then... there are issues.. lol.
Great glad it helps 🙏
Thank You soo much this is exactly what I was going for and NEVER could find a video, everything was either FX4 or 4x4... After this I went out a purchased some Venom 285/70/R18 !!! Mine is a 2018 Ford F150 Supercrew Sport..
Nice good fit 👌
I put 33 x 12.5's, on fuel +19 off set, on my 2017 with factory suspension and fits great. No rubbing. Couldn't believe it fits so well. The 12.5 is so much better.
Thanks for this video wasn’t sure if I could get away with 275 70 17 all seasons but now I know!
Those will be a nice upgrade from my 275/65/18 stock tires when the time comes. I appreciate the info!
Your welcome
What did you go with? I have 275/65/18s now.
I have a 2014 150 put 285 75 18 on my factory rim's with no lift. Absolutely no problems. Cooper xlt.
Ya it works great my next set will be 33x12.5R18 and it will fit no problem
Thank you for this video. I been trying to find out if this size would fit with no level no problem thank you again.
No worries 👍
Thanks, yeah I'm planning this size for my f150 on my factory 18 rims as well.
Perfect 👍
Just picked a used 2017 and have been looking for something like this for reference. I want to run 285 75 r17 which is a hair taller with 17 x 8.5 +5 mm offset without the level for now. I was pretty sure it would work and this adds to my conviction.
Nice glad it helps . 33 / 12.5/ r18 works aswell
Haaaa! Yup ur right bro exactly the imfo I was looking for , good job Ehh ! Thanks from Motown !
Nice wheels!
A snow bike would look great on the back of your truck
5.5 foot box 📦 don't think it will fit in there hey !
brother thank you so much for this video..i was going crazy trying to decide if they would fit my truck 2014 f-150 xlt no lift kit eaither.
No problem
That was useful but I would think the real test is to be able to show that it will not rub with any steering angle and also at any position of the suspension. But that is clearly not easy to demonstrate.
Thanks for sharing. 👍
Thank you so much it so needed to be made thanks a whole lot!! Exactly what I was looking for!!
Sub! and check out my motorcycle videos
Thank you. Only video like it.
No problems 😊
Great video, well needed 💯
Thanks for the video much respect
Your welcome
Definitely needs this
Nice video. I should be able to fit 275/70R18 on my stock everything 2012 f150 then right?
I think the new body change came in 2013 ?
Awesome video
Thanks
did I see some tire cracking or gouging on the pass side tire?
Them tires are long gone
Right on brother!!
Good job man! I just got my 2021 F150 platinum, trying to figure out what wheels and tires to put on. I'm looking at the black rhino 17x9.5J and BF GoodRich 285/70/R17, it should fit after watching your video, thanks!
Your welcome
Awesome video. I just got 285 65s and was wondering about fitment and my local firestone was worried about fitment
They wanted to tell me that the 18x9 wide rim may be too wide😂
Just show them this video 📹 to fix the dilemma. My next video will be 35s no lift no level ! Subscribe and one day I'll post it .
Cheers 🍻
Most likely there just going by the book on fitment so your in and out . RUclips is great to find a solution. Problem is everyone does a level so hard to come across my vid
@@Workhard_investharder yea i put a level on mine because i hate the factory rake
Thank you sir.
Your welcome enjoy your new future rubbers
Thank you bro!!!!
No problem enjoy !
How is the ground clearance off-road? Have u been high-centered or scraped at all?
No problem off road zero rubbing
Great video. Exactly what I needed. I’m looking at this exact tire size for my 2022 lariat. Question, does it affect your gas mileage at all? Going to the taller tire?
Of course it affects gas ⛽ bigger tire equals more fuel
Finally, I’ve been looking for info on this. Going to need a new set on my 16’ soon hoping they wouldn’t rub with my weathertech drill free mud flaps. Sounds like you think they’ll be fine though!
Works great 👍
Thanks!
Your welcome 🍻
So I can put a 265/70/r18 on my f150 2019 xlt and will not have any issues and also with a 18 rim too fuel rebel
If its on factory rim yes
Ty, helpful
Subscribe thanks 😊
Did you have to calibrate? That size will throw off speedometer by 7% or more.
No I just go 2km under
I have 2013 f150 fx4 (4x4) same rims I was thinking about getting those same tire's
You will be happy. Great tire
Thanks for the upload! Do you think there would be rubbing with the same tire and no level with a 0 offset? Tire would sit flush or slightly poke from the fender.
Should be fine
I have 275/65/18 with 2" level, 0 offset. Tires poking out about 1.75" and I love the look. i don't want it more than that because I am nit fan of aftermarket fender flares. Now thinking too go 285/70/18
What lug nuts did you go with ? I’m
Getting tires soon and want to replace the cheap stock lug nuts
I went on Amazon
I haven’t been off road significantly yet, but I have 285-75r18 on some newer stock Ford wheels on a 2” leveled 2011 F-150 extended cab short bed. No rubbing anywhere after removing the front mud flaps. I’ve heard the size will fit with no level but I don’t have experience with that.
Correct it will fit with no level
Subscribe to see my video on 33x12.5r17 on stock f150 I'm dropping soon
Have you tried the 285-75r18 I’m talking about on a truck with no level? It’s a true 35” tire, not a 33.
Yup I have works fine on stock rim stock height
You have a video of that one?
Thanks for this. I have Falken At3w 275/65/18 on 0 offset set-up, I am thinking to go 285/70/18 on the same rims. I have 2" leveling kit installed, I will pul the trigger soon and see.
Nice 35s on a 2 inch work great 👍
So how did this work out?
Looks great, any change in power or mpg that you have noticed? This is what I'm looking at when my current tires wear out.
Fuel goes down but not by much . Speed out by 3km
@@Workhard_investharder do you have the 3.5 ecoboost? What’s your change in L/100km? I currently run about 11-13 during the summer on my stock tires.
I got the 2.7 ecoboost and ya about the same
@@Workhard_investharder how many L/100 did it go up after putting the 285s on?
About 2
I wonder if my weathertech mud flaps would rub with this setup?
Mud flaps will be fine it will not rub
@@Workhard_investharder thanks, I plan on keeping the suspension stock on my 16 until I have a reason to upgrade. Btw did you ever program your truck for the bigger tires? I'm looking at the rough country calibration tool and supposedly helps the shift points.
@@sneakysnakepie1 no I did not do a calibration but I did check on speed check on side of hwy and I'm out by 2km so not a big deal. Your welcome to subscribe and see more content as it comes out . Hope this helps
Do you have any rubering problems when making turns
No rubbing at all
@@Workhard_investharder what do you think about the first comment 33x12.5 stock suspension?
False or true?
It will do just fine
@@Workhard_investharder thanks
Hi, what’s the specs on the wheel? 8.5 or 9 inch wide? Also, what’s the offset?
It's a factory wheel
I’ve got a 2011 and I’m hoping these should work on mine too.
@@just2fastt52 lmk if it does I wanna do this to my 2011 as well
What is your offset?
It's all factory
Thank you for making this. So sick of hearing that you need a leveling kit anytime tires larger than stock are used.
Have you put your truck on a ramp to verify that no rubbing will occur at full flex? If not, that would make a great video.
No ramp but off road flexing is just fine no rub
