I bet they forgot to use cable risers. lol
Happy Tuesday 😊😊
What people hear and want to hear is a tricky thing. Glad they tried to AB test though...we need more of that across the board to prove or debunk claims.
I saw a guy on RUclips say he could hear the difference between sound isolating feet on a dac - omg 😂
😂🤣
You really have no idea how sensitive the crystal oscillators are to vibrations. Typical keyboard warriors. They think everything is snake oil without even trying it out themselves.
@@dicmccoy lol, sure but I am talking about a very insignificant case - I am sure if you have your dac on top of your 18 inch sub it may not be very good - still wonder how much you would hear and would love to see some ABX or data on this; the guy was by ear saying he could tell the difference between three vs four isolation feet and that overdamping with the four affected the sound negatively and went with 3 feet as it sounded so much better. Now get back to your keyboard, warrior! 😉
I watched that channel until I realized that he was full of BS with that video you mentioned. Thanks for being a voice of reason in a sea of stupidity.

I don't know how a humble person can call another person's hearing "false, somethings are just false." Hearing can even be affected by past hearing damage and concussions. The person is describing what they hear and interpret and there is only one judge. Same with art and paintings, that is pretty to you and ugly to another, there is no false.
But there is such a thing as someone contradicting themselves. If they say they like it and then they say they don't like it without anything changing, then one of the two opinions must not be true.
In your own home the subjective experience is all that matters.
If a person believes a $600 wire sounds better than a $5 wire and it makes them happy, it hurts no one else.
But if you take that “belief” and start making assertions that are not aligned with science (pseudoscience doesn’t count even though it sounds better than real science) that’s when I start objecting.

thanks
Joe, you have to remeber, there are reasons another reviewer can experience a different sound vs what you experienced with the same set of speakers. Its everything else in the chain. Cables, placment, equipment matching. And you'll be shocked to hear this, all cables, amps, and dacs don't sound the same! 😱 Blasphemy! Snake Oil? I don't drink snake oil. I prefer doing rails of Alicorn powder.
