Oof, Sarah really butchered my name but in any case I'm pretty damn proud and happy with the name drop and honest attempt of pronunciation! Banger TV rules!
While I think everyone on the channel has something to contribute, Sarah and Blayne are especially great. Brad's perspective on things is also always appreciated, given his lack of pretences and often very abrasive tastes.
I remember the first Ripped to Shreds album being touted quite highly in the metal subreddit. When I found out it was made by one of the regulars in the sub, I was surprised because I see and sometimes comment on his posts often. The dude is known as a guy with good taste in new bands, and that kind of clout in an online community can really help when you want to promote your own band.
Just got a demo called No Life Til Leather from a band called Metallica. It's pretty cool. I don't think they'll ever get as big as Raven or Exciter. I'm gonna drop by my buddy Jon Zazula's place and see what he thinks.
Very cool segment. While growing up in Los Angeles in the early 80's, we went down to the Sunset Strip every weekend and I collected cassette tape demo's from RATT, Quiet Riot, Great White, LA Guns, Faster Pussycat, Poison and others, which I still have. They contain various versions of songs you recognize, but with different lyrics or arrangements. I even have Ozzy's demo of Blizzard of Oz that he used to shop for a record deal.
Why hasn't anyone at banger films reviewed Horrendous yet? Been waiting for that for quite some time now. You dont hear too many metal fans speak of them. They are a band that any old school metal head would appreciate in my opinion.
@@n1ghtmar3mach1n3 hell no. i'm taiwanese, and american, and i play death metal. i can be all three at the same time. i'm not going to put a bunch of bullshit in my music that i don't enjoy
@@andrewRTS 😆 Nah, that wouldn't fly. If you weren't true to what you feel the music should be, it would be glaringly obvious and people would see right through it.
Hi BangerTV/Sarah--- love all the stuff your doing/posting & especially this video; not sure if others will feel the same way, but I was wondering/hoping you could help advise good sources to get a new cassette player (like any great online specialty stores?) As opposed to buying a used one a thrift store (sadly I've tried & maybe it's because of COVID-19 and just a coincidence in my area) but would love to get into collecting tapes like these & supporting the bands and labels that release these tapes, but have nothing to play them on & it's actually been a serious challenge to even find one in order to even bother with buying the tapes! Just wondering if you yourself (or anyone else reading this) struggled to find a decent player to be able to listen to the tapes with?

Ah yes!
More of Sarah, more cassettes, more underground bands, and more informative segments like this!
We know you love it!

The effort is there!
Always look forward to content from Sarah and Blayne
Same but don't care about the others
Same. I love them :)

Hell yeah, I missed cassette cult, best show on banger behind blaynes metal monthly shenanigans

Maybe Jonny Z will see some potential?

Awesome!
@@AnalEyesAnalyzeAnalLies-666 I have't posted any other them. I thought about digitizing them and putting them on YT, but not sure about the legality.
Great topic! Wishing for more!
Love you Tucker, we think the world of you!
Ripped to Shreds kicks ass! Actually, all the bands you featured here are great! I’ve enjoyed all three in 2020. 🙏✌️
Ripped To Shreds slays! More tapes, please!
I still have altars of madness and clandestine originals on cassette
If you wanna convey to people what Throne of Iron are about its best to just show them the music video they did for Lichspire
Ripped to Shreds are awesome, another great video
interesting segment...thanks
The entire industry seems crazy. A demo seems like a resume
I think I had like 20 ads in the 14 min video...
yeah is was fkn brutal
you"re awesome sarah!
and so are you oldseed!
I love Cassette 🤘🏻❤️

GREAT band
Hoping her and her Band Smoulder come to Germany next year (or play at hellfest)
Pretty sure Smoulder has some German stuff lined up for next year - stay tuned!
@@BangerTV yes yes yes, just hope corona doesn´t throw a wrench into the gears
Anyone else getting ads every 30 seconds to every 2 minutes?
Just stopping by to say I love Sarah. Only woman on earth I'd leave my wife for. Dont tell her lol
I hear nothing Taiwanese about that band. They are an Amrican band.
True. I found it weird that Sarah referred to Andrew Lee’s solo band as Taiwanese. The music definitely has Chinese themes but he’s from Bay Area
what does that even mean lol, you want me to put a bunch of guzheng or buddhist chants in my death metal?
@@andrewRTS Hey, that might work... 🤘 Anyway, great stuff!

I have that Throne of Iron - Adventure On on cd & vinyl.

Marthe fucking rules!!!
Dude. Ripped to Shreds is fucking evil!
Goth meets bathory love the band marthe I highly recommend it
MARTHE RULES
TORTURE TOMB needs to get signed, their EP is so good. Got the Tape from them
Marthe is totally sold out-
Love this- Thank you Sara.
Wicked, going to support.
I gotta get pro tools. Me and my dead grandmother can bang two rocks together and call it an album.
What are the good online communities?
Man, that ripped to shreds track was killer! I love this show so much.
Everytime she pops a cassette in, I wait for the mangled sound of the tape being chewed.. I really don't miss cassettes...
That terrifying heart wrenching sound :(
Great episode
Sarah Sarah Sarah . 🎸🖤 🧨📻
Excellent episode.
Thanks for watching!!!!
