- Singapore and the US are set to work together to speed up the adoption of emerging tech like artificial intelligence. Other areas include creating innovation systems that are trusted and vibrant, and ensuring the partnership can be a model and a bridge for other countries. Singapore Trade and Industry Minister Gan Kim Yong said this in Washington DC as both countries commemorate 20 years of a free trade agreement.
I am proud that neither the supers can make us take sides. That, from a certain linguistic artistic angle, we maybe can be considered as super power too
Hey, it's the Huawei woman.
huh?
Excellent! Another great accomplishment by the PAP govt once again. Remarkable PAP!❤❤
What happened to IPEF?
The Independence of Singapore remains neutral and steadfast amid the many challenges ahead. China will remain a serious concern in our diplomatic relations, and Lawrence Wong must be firm to ensure a clean slate.
Is the data owned by the country?
Will data be shared with 3rd party countries? Like the data from the UK police, health, etc.
Micro-level cohesion where could be use? are there any AI ethical guidelines protecting a sovereign government?
The PAP, as one might guess, was in on this set-up from the get-go. Take, for instance, the free trade agreement that the US and Singapore signed in 2003. The architects of the deal had dreamed up a scheme called the Integrated Sourcing Initiative (ISI).
Gan Kim Yong's refusal to release correspondence such as emails, memos, minutes of meetings between officials at MOH and SGH over the Hepatitis C outbreak in 2015 as well as the refusal to openly identify the officers who were at fault and the penalties meted out to them.
I wonder do many care? If we say, Bo Bian then, it no longer is an issue
It is time for Singapore to pick a side. Singapore cannot hide behind neutrality forever. Singapore must choose between having democracy or autocracy. Singapore must choose between free market or command economy. Singapore must choose USA or PRC.
It's not that we want the cake and eat it. It's just that every country is just in it for their self interest. I insist to remain politically correct
We shouldn't for our own sake
Singapore must always choose Singapore
@@CattleFarmer667 USA must always choose USA and China must always choose China. 👀🏳️👀🏳️🤣🫣🤭
What is super power?👀🫣
@@CT-cl9wi How dare you allude that it's a matter of time SG choose a side? SG is the true super power that no super power can force to take a side. We must defend with our lives. Just kidding lah🤣👀🤭🏳️🫣
Btw, what is a super power if it has no power?
Singapore 🇸🇬 can never be a tech hub of the West as long as it acts as a cover for the Chinese operations in another country.
The stories of TikTok, Shein, and Dali have damaged its reputation already.
@nextlastchang,
You are truly a garbage man. You talk and think only of garbage.
@nextlastChang Stale news. Try something new or are you really that stupid.
We want kawan kawan China . We want kawan kawan USA. We are the Super power
So you think we should choose which side?
@@gloriagloria5377 so you think super powers cannot force SG to choose sides? This is what you must answer
Diplomacy will remain an important tool for small nations like Singapore, to create the regional and international space that is needed to survive and thrive.
