- Alright you guys asked for another transparent recipe… this time it’s clear ‘ravioli’ used in a loose term of course. But yes you can create clear ravioli that actually disappears using edible film and bit of patience.. as long as the filling is oil based or dry rather than water! See what you think!

There's also a drink called The Ghost of Mary which is basically a Bloody Mary made with tomato water instead of tomato juice. It's almost clear, so maybe tomato water would be useful for other recipes?

These clear food videos are great however this one was a bit of a miss for me... Not really ravioli as its just a dry filmy pocket... Perhaps you could figure out how to make clear pasta that actually gets boiled and add clear sauce to it? My other thought was maybe clear spring rolls! You could easily use the clear crisp idea, but use regular water instead of potato water. Preferably keep the fillings normal as it would be cool to see the insides through the clear exterior.
Do spring rolls. Rice paper is clear/transparent when soaked in water. :)

Rice paper is clear and edible, so are glass noodles. U could make clear spaghetti or clear tacos with the rice paper

There is something in a America called "Hot Pockets" I doubt anyone outside U.S. can stomach them. It would be interesting to see if you could do something similar to it or "Pizza Rolls" with the transparent soy lecithin discs.

Hi Barry, I have a suggestion; and it could kill 2 birds with 1 stone - a GIANT/CLEAR Raviolo (made popular in 2016 Masterchef - Greg and John liked them a lot!) You could do a spaghetti Bolognese type filling if it isn’t too wet.
I do have a question:
If the discs is quite plastic-like isn’t it strange eating it?
I thought oblate is like geometric shape, ball with opposite sides cut off.
Also, o'blyat is non-posh Russian word for doing something wrong, in fact its a swearing identical to f-word in English.
Other than that, i noticed you like condensed mik and nutella. Have you tried microwaving condenced milk? It turns into BLOOD OF THE DEVIL, no it turns into nutella-like sweet caramel paste.

Please make a vibrant, colorful gummi salad... shredded gummi worms and bears, a good mix of jellies, pop rocks and rock candy pieces. Maybe have a shot of it, lit up in the dark? Idk. Cool video... subbbeddd
I mean it's not super PC but you could make what looks like a bag of drugs (candies lime peel for pot, powdered sugar, sugar pills, candy "crystal meth" breaking bad style, other drug-looking candy)

Make a beach scene jelly bowl! use sherbet for the sand, star moulds for jelly starfish and blue jelly for the water and maybe clear jelly over it all to hold everything together?? Can also find shell moulds for shells... could make so much... Kids would love it.

Phospholipids are just structural lipids (fats) with a phosphate head and a lipid tail. They make up membrane walls in our body and work by having a tail that is repelled by water (hydrophobic) and a head that is attracted to water (hydrophillic). Because of this they can act as emulsifiers and help suspend things like water and oil because of its properties :)

This really doesn't help out stereotype, but here in Canada you can buy maple bacon, it's exactly what you did but less work and more maple syrup flavour cause it's been marinated for longer

To help with the fire alarm when you start filming and you know you may have tons of smoke you can cover the one closest to the kitchen with a little cover like a shower cap. Life saver here since I can’t get my toaster to stop smoking cuz of something that is on the coil I can’t get off. Just a suggestion gotta make sure you pull it down just as after your done cooking. Ours actually came with the new ones we just had installed

Soy lecithin has an h, don't drop it please. And the c is more of an s sound in this case. I know things are said differently there from over here, but there can't be a complete lack of softer C sounds (as in more like an s) in British English.

So uhm. It isn't made of pasta, and it can't be put into water to boil like pasta. You didn't put an Italian, or in fact a savory filling of any kind in it, and it doesn't come with a sauce or butter. So is it actually ravioli...?
