My Virgin Kitchen hi Barry u have never ever replied to me it Woud be a dream for u to pin my REPPLY and sub to me I Woud ever sell all my dolls and toys to come meet u love u ur the best and I have allways been subscribed to u please please please pleaseplease please sub to meeeeee and my twin sister roblox girl love u lots love love u ur the best
graemec 09, not all college students are broke. I live in a big college town and if you go in the spring/fall when they leave there are all kinds of things set out as garbage-furniture, electronics, kitchen stuff-perfectly fine. When daddy's paying, apparently it's too much trouble to move.
Love the indigogo products, expecially the toastie, I love cheese toasties. But the electric ones get so messy so quickly and are so hard to clean, love the fact that this pops in the microwave, o not another big electric gadget and then you can can wash in the sink after! I'm certainly getting one of them when they come out, and the jacket one too, tyvm Barry for showing us these prototypes!
sillyfatmoocow you should definitely back them if you are able :) on some of these products if they don't get enough backers they never actually make it available to the public which would be a shame. I agree with you that they're really cool, I'm tempted by the potato one myself :) ps: you may have meant you are backing it and not waiting until it was available to the public but just in case anybody doesn't get how Indiegogo works and read your comment I wanted to clarify that, because they seem like really cool products so I really hope they get enough backers. I checked their site now and they're about halfway to their goal
I like the idea that I could pack up a sandwich in the container, take it with me to work, put it in the fridge, and then pop it in the microwave. I wonder if it can go from the fridge to the microwave without it shocking the material? It's dishwasher safe too! how easy is that clean up?
I have a grill thing that has plates one side is flat one side is grill. You can take of the plates to wash them really easily. It makes great toasties but you can also grill meat/fish/veggies on it and do all kinds of things. But the electric ones that are specially for toasties aren't great no.
I got the potato one, it works beautifully. They are silicone, which adapts readily to temperature changes-but why refrigerate it? Bread, butter and cheese don't need refrigeration for a few hours.
For the ice cream you'll need a really thin layer for the rolls, also you have to kind of chop it all up with the spatulas? Watch some of those street food videos and you'll get it!
The idea that products of accessibility are laughed at as 'lazy hacks' is so ableist and I'm so thankful you always mention about these being made for disabled too. Thanks Barry, not a lot of RUclipsrs who cover these kind of gadgets in their videos mention it. Much love from a disabled viewer.
Here Here! I've actually purchased a gadget Barry featured in a previous video (the Kuhn Ricon can opener... Episode 13, I think) and I can't tell you HOW many times it has made cooking SO much easier for me!!
The great thing about making things accessible to people with disabilities is that it also makes things easier for people without disabilities too. It's great that more manufacturers are thinking outside the box and it helps more people be more independent while also helping people without disabilities be more efficient in the kitchen. It's good for everybody:)
Masked Jigglypuff I'm a disabled viewer too, and I really want all those Indigogo products. They look well made and look like they easily work the way they are supposed to. 👍🏽
I don't think people mean to be ableist, they probably just haven't considered that disabled people may struggle with everyday tasks and therefore find the products useful. That's why it's good that Barry is pointing out that the products are beneficial to disabled people so others are aware of that.
Hey, Barry. Thank you for sharing that circular knife. As you mentioned at the start of the video, some of these help people who cannot use normal kitchen tools. As someone who has had a stroke, that knife seems perfect. Thanks so much!
AbbyDee1015 I agree! That knife would help myself whose a klutz with knives and it'd help my mum who had a stroke over 20 years ago but still gets shakes in her right hand.
I can see that blady thing working so well for people who's hands are crippled or have trouble cutting things. I think its an amazing tool. Love the new microwave stuff.
Whenever I wake up on Sunday after a tiring bar shift on Saturday night feeling a lil' bit hungover the kitchen gadget videos always are a happy thing.
I do like that you mention that some of those gadgets help people with disabilities. I need some of them in my day to day life due to cronic pain and joints that just dont work.
oooh Chocolate Ice Cream!! That circular knife reminds me of Xena Warrior Princesses weapon, the Chakram if you remember that show from back in the 90's! I would be constantly warbling my voice to imitate her every-time I used it! lol!
DullReign82 my dad is the same way, I'm normally the one cooking. But my moms boyfriend and my mom love to cook 😂 always having a home cooked meal at her house. Welp I guess we're just the exact opposite 😂
I have the mico potato, and it's fantastic! No preheating an oven, and living on my own, this gadget makes a quick and tasty meal. If you plan on making more than one serving at a time, I wouldn't recommend this method - the mico potato gets way too hot for more than one session in the microwave without letting it cool down in between.
i love watching u and you wife cook and testing gadgets. i watch your videos every week and even watch all you videos about 8 times because there soooo good. i also loved that little cactus gadget i loved it so much lol. i think that all of you videos are amazing and they make me happy everyday when i watch them.
Saw the mico toastie yesterday here, ordered via Amazon and just made the 1st test: it indeed works like a charm. And you don’t need another kitchen device...🍴🎉
As a viewer that Is disabled I have to say I love this video!! I have advanced arthritis in my hand related to fractures of my knuckles from a fall. Slicing things can be quite painful. That circular blade looks like a hand saver to me!
Thank's so much, my mum's having a hard time using her arm right now and is going to have it operated on soon. I've just bought the rolly knife to help her out, thanks to your video :)
They should invent a no spill bowl for people like me with virtually no motor skills I can't make a cake without losing half my flour because I struggle with the spoon, even something like a stretchy washable silicone inward faceing lip would be good because then it could go on saucepans too since silicone isn't effected by heat as badly as some other materials.if you find something like this please test it I'm looking for something effective but still practical.(also before anyone says I've tried different spoons it dosent help and I can't afford a stand mixer)
Seen every video on this channel now. yet have never actually used the recommendation of watching this playlist. its so good in the background that I've probably used most of the hacks and gadgets now its unbelievable. Also as my local shop is a Sainsburys it looks like I'm recreating almost all of the videos!
Awesome videos Barry think I seen every kitchen gadget video of yours. Love the banter and of course you testing them as we would not like the as seen on tv ones.
That poached egg turned out *succulent* Good thing Barry has done so many egg gadgets, as *cactus* makes perfect. There you go, a *prickly pear* of cactus & eggs puns.
I see no need for any of these gadgets personally as a chef, but I appreciate the usefulness for disabled people and I think it's great that you're showing things like this off, most people would dismiss this as gimmicky nonsense, I normally would have as well, but I do realise how handy they can be for certain people now. Keep it up bucko! Also, good luck with the book, I may get that as a Christmas present for some one!
hi! I just wanted to say thank u so much for very entertaining content! I found your channel when I had surgery and watched your channel to keep me entertained while I recovered. Thank you!!!!
The idea with the circular knife is that you can use it forward and backward. I kept hoping you would realize that and stop slamming the blade into the board. Shame on you for dulling your blade so roughly! 😋
It's 5 am, i have to go out in the morning for new frames for my glasses. Why not listen to a brit talk about kitchen gadgets! (love your channel Barry)
I had already supported the Mico egg cooker but that demonstration made me want the sandwich toaster as well. Anyone watching will probably want all of them. Good video even though too long.....may have to buy The Virgin Kitchen, now.
I bought that microwave toastie thing and it's honestly the most amazing thing I've ever owned... One of the best combos is probably banana, cookie crumbles and bits of chocolate
Hi Barry! I have seen the rolling knife on another RUclips channel that does kitchen gadgets and there is a way to take off the handle so that you can wash the knife all the way, I believe you can wash in dishwasher as well. Just thought I would let you know since they did not add the instructions. Glad to see you're back from your holiday😊
I think for the ice cream roll it's got to be super thin, but I really want the egg separator cause it's adorable. You rock, love watching these videos now off to go preorder your cookbook.

My Virgin Kitchen why did you post this so late?
VulcanGray different time zones?
the round knife is good for people with arthritis and can't do certain movements without pain.
That's a good point but I wonder how easy it is to clean
DonpatchXD good point but it might be washing machine safe or it might rinse easily with water. I hope lol
@Nita... I don't think you want to put it in your washing machine. I think you meant dish washer.
Bloodi Rose oops yes I meant dish washer lol
Nita F it would be great for my grandpa who hurts himself cutting semmi melted butter
Those mico things would be great for college students who can't have hotplates!
amsayyy only downside is via the links they each cost £30 each! No student would spare that money
I got the potato baker, it works great.

That was amazing. I need to show mum that knife. She can no longer use a regular knife with her arthritis.
that knife is good regardless. that's an example of taking something and actually making it easier for everyone.
wonder about the cleanup though
pretty sure it comes apart so you can clean it.
I'm wondering about sharpening it, but it looks bloody amazing.
Hey, Barry. Thank you for sharing that circular knife. As you mentioned at the start of the video, some of these help people who cannot use normal kitchen tools. As someone who has had a stroke, that knife seems perfect. Thanks so much!

Do you know what I would actually watch a 1 hour live stream of kitchen gadgets anyone else?
I can see that blady thing working so well for people who's hands are crippled or have trouble cutting things. I think its an amazing tool. Love the new microwave stuff.
I'm hooked on these gadget videos. I've watched the entire playlist!
cheers
Jaydactyl Me too-more than once 🙃
Whenever I wake up on Sunday after a tiring bar shift on Saturday night feeling a lil' bit hungover the kitchen gadget videos always are a happy thing.
Barry- "I'm not going to crazy with it I don't wanna... Slice up anything." *carries on slicing* "WUH WUH WUH WUH!" xD
Omg I want the toastie maker that's like the best thing Iv ever seen
the 3 mins 30 + 3 mins 30 is that you’re supposed to turn it over half way through
I do like that you mention that some of those gadgets help people with disabilities. I need some of them in my day to day life due to cronic pain and joints that just dont work.
6:48 was it possibly tron? they had bikes called "light cycles" with wheels pretty similar to that shape
bulbabby, yeh, not you say Tron I can see them,
sillyfatmoocow I'm sorry? I don't understand
bulbabby Tron was my first thought.
"Yeah, now that you say 'Tron' I can see the resemblance"
Translated from drunk
oooh Chocolate Ice Cream!!
That circular knife reminds me of Xena Warrior Princesses weapon, the Chakram if you remember that show from back in the 90's! I would be constantly warbling my voice to imitate her every-time I used it! lol!
I love these gadget videos!! I would watch if you did these 2 times a week! They're so funny 😂
cheers, I've got tons here and they won't be stopping anytime soon, maybe watch the playlist while the other one comes out :-)
LB MEDIA omg yessss

I'm buying both your books for my dad's birthday. I think his girlfriend would like the healthy recipes and he'll love the desserts.
thanks so much
DullReign82 what about your mom?
Sam P My mom does not cook unless forced/begged to.
DullReign82 my dad is the same way, I'm normally the one cooking. But my moms boyfriend and my mom love to cook 😂 always having a home cooked meal at her house. Welp I guess we're just the exact opposite 😂

I've always wondered: did you name your pug Boston because of the band, the city or just because you liked the name?🤔
Mariama Joazard maybe hes part boston terrier ?

Is no one going to talk about the fact that he mixed corn and tuna?? Then put it on a baked potato?!?!
That's a standard jacket potato filling?
You U.S.? I don't get it either.
@@caseyleigh009 it must be a British thing tuna & sweetcorn is one of the most popular potato fillings here
Here the standard fillings are
bacon, cheese and sour cream
Broccoli and cheese
Chili cheese
Or just butter, salt and pepper
Hey Barry just wanted say thank you for what you do by entertaining us and for the videos .Thank you. 😌👍
Nice video!!
i'm surprisingly awake to watch this!! i love this series ((': thanks for making videos, barry!!
I've never seen tuna go in a potato like that. Is that a "English" thing? (I am honestly curious, also I am an American)

Barry could you try to make Thai rolled ice cream
I feel I need to after this video
My Virgin Kitchen you could do with a little improving 😂😂
My Virgin Kitchen if you try putting less and making it thinner it will roll better. You put too much in the pan for rolled ice cream. ☺️
I'm so glad that I saw your testing of the MICO gadgets as I just signed up to support the project this morning. Great show.
who's watching this with socks on
I'm a huge fan I have been watching this series since the first kitchen gadget video
The idea with the circular knife is that you can use it forward and backward. I kept hoping you would realize that and stop slamming the blade into the board. Shame on you for dulling your blade so roughly! 😋

My go to gadget is my microwave pressure cooker, I have two. They're amazing.
That rolling knife would be so great for people with parkinson's and other tremors, I love it
