I looked into this symbol. The earliest thing I can find is Pythagoras used the 6 and five pointed star 450 bc. Pythagoras practiced a religion that was mysterious. Pythagoras spent time in Egypt and Babylon. Pythagoras lived in Crotone, Italy. I found blue 6 point stars on jewelry that was made in that town in Italy.

It depends who you are talking too. It’s a sign of respect. Historically the Jewish people wouldn’t say the name of God out of reverence. Many say Hashem instead. Its worth taking a look at just so you can understand why certain things are done in certain cultures or groups, even if you may not agree it is good to understand.

Yes, I understand that completely. I think it has become a tradition based out of a history of reverence for the name of God and it has been continued in the English language. Mostly observant Jews use it. I used it out of respect for the channel I was commenting on.
