We either believe or we don't. One thing I have realised in my 70 years is that humans are inherently bad at behaving well toward each other and why we need guidence.
He is changing the very meaning of the word natural in order to suit his purpose this does not in any way answer the question but redefines commonly used words and confuses people
The Tanakh has so many commandments, rules, and proscriptions that everyone who ascribes to it is regularly sinning one way or another. It's interesting how religious fundies obsess over other people's sins while ignoring their own.
What he's alluding to is that it's natural to seek pleasure, but the torah gives morals to guide us toward a meaninful life. But he had to send you through mental gymnastics to the point where the point was lost.
I don’t understand the thinking behind the statement “I don’t know why it’s a sin.” Especially from someone who understands the value of family in the context of religious practice. For two people of opposite genders to be together for life is the most challenging relationship on the earth. The challenge is designed by HaShem. There is nothing on this earth that encourages more growth and maturity than choosing to spend your life with someone so absolutely different than you. We simply miss the mark when we choose to spend our lives with someone because it’s easier. What could be easier than two people with the exact same make up spending intimate time with one another? It is a sun because it is the easier path.
So our nature/what’s natural for us humans is everything that’s a sin? Our sinful nature is our baseline, then? To murder, steal, commit adultery, do homosexual practices, eat pork is our nature? Our sinful nature? Our natural state? This is so profound!!! So if by giving in to our (sinful) nature, our natural state, we cause so much destruction for our souls, in our individual lives, and the wider creation, whether we can actually see this destruction or not.
Homosexuals are fine, just the way they are, the way G-d created them. There have always been observant Jews who are homosexual, and there always will be.
I was in Jerusalem about three years ago. I was by myself. By chance, I got into a conversation with a young pretty woman in a store. She told me with pride that she's gay.

Sorry but this is not making sense to me.

The Rabbi's logic makes no sense..I respect his opinion on many of his video's but this one lost me.

A deeply incomplete answer.
I disagree w the rabbi on this issue

Playing senseless, intellectual games.
My eyes rolled so far back into my head I saw my brain.
Ok, now that's putting things in perspective. Thank you very much.
To paraphrase What the Rabbi is saying;
Dude! You are so f-king smart. You are blowing my mind. Thank you! Love you.
Religion espouses the SUPER or SUPRA NATURAL and therefore promotes and informs from that specific view. Why do people never get this?
