    We all know Team Protoman was covered first cause of Meddy. I won't blame him tho lmao

    I still find it astonishing that Chaud is supposedly some big shot Net Police operator yet Protoman's Navicust is apparently so barren he's running around with only default buster and Custom stats, Reflector and 600 HP. 5 games in and he never even considered giving his sword-reliant Navi Air Shoes/Float shoes

    The Best possible Cannon event. Wherever your Giga Chad Sigma male kid from the bus, thank you, if not for you, I wouldn't have this fun series to help become more knowledgeable in the BN games without falling asleep from reading the Wiki for 10 hours.

    I've played BN5 since it came out and this is legitimately the first time I learned you can chip charge the element chips as the elemental navis as well as Gyroman's heli form

    • @quackers1228
      @quackers1228 11 месяцев назад +1

      What’s chip charge and how would you do it in game? I played this as a kid and have heard him throw that term out on several of his vids now

    • @tiarabite
      @tiarabite 11 месяцев назад +2

      @@quackers1228 It's when you hold down the chip using button and then that green circle appears on your character. It basically enhances the attack of said chip after the circle fully enlarges.

    Battle network 5 team protoman was my first MegaMan game too, I had put so much time into it and was just getting into nebula area when I sadly lost my game boy. Just got the legacy collection recently and I just got all the emblems, now I’m moving to 6 and looking to start PVP soon

  • @highsol222
    @highsol222 Год назад +1

    No idea how I even got into battle network, but my first battle network game was bn3 blue. Not much of a bn 5 guy myself, but I understand, your first game in a series will always be the best. That bias is powerful. BN3 blue will always be the best in my eyes.

    I played bn5 protoman version and some how finished the last liberation mission(where you get meddy) without using her special power and to top that off I got the spicial prize for finishing the mission as fast as possible
    And I am very surprised he didn't mention the outside of battle abilities

    What could Protoman.EXE be more than my favorite Navi in this series? The Best Leader? Has one of the best Sword transformations of Megaman (apart Slash Cross and maybe Shadow Soul)? Be a great help to Megaman, even Chaud gives Protoman to Lan when Megaman was captured by those Nebula Agents? Be an Official Navi? I know other ones love other Navis, but i love Protoman.EXE

  • @igorlopes8463
    @igorlopes8463 Год назад +6

    I didn't know you couldn't do the change trick with Gyroman's navichip. Would it be possible to cover the special skills of the navis in the liberation and tips for them? I think it would good, at least for new players.

    • @BlueStarSixtyFour
      @BlueStarSixtyFour  Год назад +3

      you mean like their order point abilities? yeah i could do that.

    • @LadyTsunade777
      @LadyTsunade777 Год назад +5

      @@BlueStarSixtyFour Yea, some of the Order Point commands have secret mechanics the game never points out, like how:
      MegaMan, the team leader (ProtoMan/Colonel), and the support (Meddy/ToadMan) can _each_ save the game. The more of them in a mission, the more saves mid-turn you get to abuse.
      MegaMan, ProtoMan, and Colonel's commands can still apply the One Turn Liberate AoE clearing. (so if you use MegaMan to LongSword liberate and get a 1-turn, you'll liberate not only the two panels in front of you, but also every panel around you)
      KnightMan protects any navi in a 3x3 around him but can only protect one navi (in the case there are multiple and the overworld enemy does an AoE, or you have multiple navis on the same target space; he will protect himself and one other ally though)
      MagnetMan's barrier covers all ally navis on the map, regardless of distance, and doesn't have to be near them to barrier them.
      ShadowMan can't liberate while standing on a DarkPanel, and his command can't delete enemies (only reduces them to 1 HP)
      NapalmMan and TomahawkMan's commands will trigger traps in their areas as normal. (as opposed to thinking maybe the traps would be harmlessly destroyed, since the game does mention they destroy items)
      NumberMan's command does NOT liberate, but also doesn't start a battle.
      SearchMan's command starts a battle, but liberates all the item/trap panels.
      Meddy's command requires both her to battle and liberate one panel and another target navi to also battle and liberate a panel at the other end of a straight line, and then all panels in between will be liberated without a battle.
      ToadMan's command is the most OP of the lot, primarily because it allows an allied navi to liberate a straight line _even through key barriers and across gaps._ There are several missions where you can abuse this to get keys way faster.
      In mission 6 in Under4 you can be smart about liberations and be able to just barely reach Key2 from next to the first DarkHole (from the DarkHole, the next panel straight left has BugFrags; stand on that BugFrag panel and face down-left with a ToadMan boosted navi and liberate that panel, and it will just barely reach across to get the Key2 panel way early).
      In Mission 9 in Nebula5, you can use ToadMan's boost to get any of the keys way earlier, since the boost allows liberation through the barriers; this makes Colonel able to finish this mission in 4 turns while Protoman needs like 8+ due to having to go the long way around the barriers.
