Thrash, Death, Black, Power, Progressive, Folk, Melodeath, Gothic, Grindcore, Doom, Symphonic, Industrial, Groove, Heavy, Metalcore, hell even Nu Metal and Deathcore(*shudders*), whatever floats your boat.
I saw them live a year ago in Greece. They played almost 2 hours without even a break! And everything was excellent; the sound, the songs, the audience... Hell yeah! Awesome band and amazing their live performances.
My opportunity is that it's not important to sing very good. The music is important and i think here it's on the highest level!! Mille kicks ass!!!!!!!!!!

Can't help but notice a lot of influence from Realism and Naturalism, not just in the lyrics, but also in the video Kreator has really matured from the teenage old school Thrash band into a band that can really show the social and political problems of the modern age. 5/5 fur a kickass song and vid

Kreator is so fucking awesome. They show the most 'impossibly brutal" side of the world as a protest against violence. All their songs sound so... natural. Basicaly most of their songs are pretty similar, but it's just such a cool arrangement for the songs... awesome.
I have to agree with ddeenn444. Were all enjoy different branches of the awesome genre that is metal. An argument between rap crap and metal, fine. But between metal is silly. We all enjoy getting pumped up and headbang till we give ourselves concussion. Let's stick together as the defenders of the faith! And most importantly, AWESOME SONG!
Evile and Anthrax are thrash bands, and they have clean, sharp, high pitched voices. Pantera is power metal, and they sing like deep, dark, and rude. Anyway, thrash 4 ever. Kreator 4 life! =D
thank you. i was waiting for a response like that. and i didn't mean unorthodox time signatures equalling deep, more towards the lyrics/structure and the time signatures. that's what i like. the only thing i like that's like this is Lamb of God, and they only have a few good songs in my opinion.
@devonpenner Yes, teutonic thrash. If you look it up, Teutonic thrash is a form of thrash like bay-area thrash that's from Germany, but is typically more brutal then other types of thrash. Which is why Kreator is such an influence to death metal, and Sodom to black, because both are partially derived from Teutonic thrash metal.

i think this is their best album yet, but its the first i gave much attention too, haha. plus grew away from thrash very fast, and away from most Metal in general, though Kreator remains one of my favorites because of this album.

Maiden and Kreator aren't comparable. Two totally different metal bands. NWOBHM vs Teutonic thrash, both amazing bands but too different to compare. I personally prefer Kreator, but I also love the Maiden, gonna be seeing them this summer with Dream Theater, gonna be one hell of a concert.
Why do people feel the need to compare Metallica with every Thrash band, it just shows the esteem they're held in and whether they're better than Kreator is your opinion, Kreator are certainly more technical but better? opinion based, I don't understand why people come on a and berate a band and compare them to another just to start some sort of argument, the best thing you can do is be open, listen to music, enjoy the variety and fruits of the library of music we have, chilax and enjoy :D

I saw Slayer live last year. This year I'm going to see Kreator and Sodom.

They're different, I can't compare Mille's style with Tom's and etc. Both are good, and the important thing is that this is Good METAL.
