To keep two of the greatest college wrestlers ever in Dake and Taylor out of competing internationally is a spectacular feat on its own. He owned the most competitive weight class for almost 10 years
Fast, athletic, precise, well rounded. But watching this video as a highlight of his career is disappointing for me because I didn’t realize until now that wrestling is so limited sport. If you add submissions to olympic wrestling that would be huge sport to watch. Now it’s just bunch of guys pinning each others for points. It’s like modern taekwondo. No real fighting just scoring points. Id like to see wrestling + bjj with guys like Jordan with elite level of both wrestling and submission game.
