Have you considered going through the collectible minifigure series (beginning with series 1) and ranking the figures in a tier list based on your own tastes? Perhaps 1 series per video?

Several character ideas we expected to see in a third minifigure series (such as Madam Pomfrey, Order of the Phoenix Tonks, Cat Hermione, etc.) have already appeared in regular sets. However, now that each minifigure series dropped to 12 figures per series, it might be easier to predict what minifigures we would expect in a third minifigure series, which I doubt we will get.
They should go with series 3, and include mini-figures from The Cursed Child 6 or 8 from The Cursed Child. And perhaps some more random students. That would get a lot of people excited.
I read the cursed child book and I don’t think it was that good to be fair and a lot of people don’t think that also it would be hard because we don’t have a cursed child movie ( i know we didn’t see Bill weasley too in the movie but that is one exception) I do hope that they make a cursed child serie because I want to see adult Ron and hermoine as minifugers to compleet the adults in my collection.

But if to speak about characters that we could get in the cmf3 (and not likely to appear in regular sets) I think there would be (besides Rita Skeeter): - Narcissa Malfoy, since she had only one appearance nearly 10 years ago and needs to be upgraded - Xenophilius Lovegood - Antonin Dolokhov - Rufus Scrimgeour - The Bloody Baron - The Gray Lady - The Fat Friar - Zacharias Smith - Blaise Zabini - Bill Weasley - Bartemius Crouch Sr
What i loved from series 2, is that i felt it consisted of minifigures missing from the sets. (Ron and Hermione variations belong in hogsmead village, Myrtle belonged in polyjuice potion mistake, Ginny from the astronomy tower among others.)
CMF Series 3 ideas: Peeves, Bloody Baron, Viktor Krum Sharkhead, Igor Karkaroff, Bill Weasley, Rita Skeeter, Aberforth, Merlin, Barty Crouch Snr, Dudley Dursley with cake on his face and a pig tail, Inferi, Sirius Black in Azkaban, etc. There is a ton of potential for new figs and overdue remakes
I think these would be good for a CMF 3: Bill, Percy, it'd be nice if they through in Charlie for book people, the grey lady, fat friar, the bloody Barron, Rita like you said, Blaise Zabini, Cormac, Angelina Johnson, Lavender Brown, Katie Bell, Pansy. I made a list while watching the video, here's what I came up with: Rita Skeeter (obviously), Narcissa Malfoy, Barty Crouch senior, Igor Karkaroff, Bill Weasley, Rufus Scrimgeour, Xenophilius Lovegood, Aberforth Dumbledore, Mundungus Fletcher. I can imagine a possible Bill&Fleur Wedding set, but I already know that if they did this the minifigure selection would be too limited. For example, maybe a Burrow Wedding set comes with Harry and Ginny, but Hermione in her red dress is exclusive to the CMF series? If Bill was included in the set, maybe Fleur comes with the CMF series or vice versa. Also would love to see a set with the Three Brothers and Death, but if we don't get one then throw them in a CMF series 3. I also would love to see a Gilderoy Lockhart with leg printing (please, for people like me who aren't likely to ever get the huge Diagon Alley set and aren't huge fans of the orange one in the Chamber of Secrets set.) My last personal wish is for a McGonagall in Deathly Hallows part 2 garb. LEGO has done a few McGonagall's in the same robes now (I wish I had the one from Hogsmeade but what can you do) and I would love the variation there. This whole comment is basically a wish list. But also I'm trying to demonstrate that a CMF series 3 could have so much potential, LEGO could really impress us if they put enough thought into it.

For me the Biggest missed opportunity for Lego CMF was not making series based on Doctor Who, particularly of all the Doctors since at the time Dimensions showed they had designs for all the Doctors up to Capaldi. I don't know if they still hold the rights but I would love if Doctor Who blows up next year with 60th, Lego revisit this brand.

There is no active Harry Potter franchise to boost interest, so it is most likely the whole Harry Potter series will come to an end at Lego. I would like to see it continued.
I don't think that's the reason for no series 3. I think the reason we won't get a new HP CMF series is because LEGO was NOT expecting Harry Potter to go into the top 5 best selling themes. So when they did Series 1 and 2 they still didn't have the numbers. After all, you have to remember the series are thought around a year in advance. So when Series 1 came out alongside the 1st wave, they were working on Series 2, before knowing how the 1st Revival Wave would perform. Once they saw HP jump to the top 5 and remain there year after year, CMF series for it stopped making sense. Why put figures in a CMF for 5€ a pop when you can put then in 40€+ sets?
Other mini fig subjects could be Rick and Morty, DC Heroes or Star Wars. To save money they could put a line out using Lego Dimension figs. As for Harry Potter they should use the Ball with the other schools and the end final battle scene.
The main reason I like the cmf series is that the figures are always superior to the ones in sets. I don't have loads of money or space for the massive big sets, so I did like collecting the really well designed minifigs from the cmf series that had stuff like leg printing and dress prints. Also the accessories like Tom Riddle's Diary, the Advanced Potion Making book, the penseive and Nagini all had really detailed printing that often wasn't in sets, either replaced by stickers or (like Nagini's eyes) were left blank. For the future, I'm only going to buy sets I really like the look of, and some sets are either way too expensive or just not film accurate for my tastes. And when it comes to minifigures that are sub-par in the prints I'm not getting sets for them. So either Lego should start making sets with better more diverse minifigure selections, or make a new cmf to fulfil fans wants while they make humungous expensive display sets for fans with loads of money like the Hogwarts Express & the Hogwarts Icons.
If Lego did a HP CMF3 I'd want them to base it on Cursed Child since Ron and Hermione from the epilouge were absent from the Hogwarts Express set. Also, I'd want a Marvel CMF for each phase. Do one MCU phase per year.
I think they should rerelease the exclusive parts of harry potter's cmf for those who missed the first two series. We need the epilogue Ron and Hermione. It would he cool to get a Ninjago cmf based on the series
I don't know how well series 2 did, because I was still seeing it on shelves over a year after launch. I'm sure COVID affected that, but like I'm talking all the way up to mid 2022. Could just be where I live though.
I absolutely agree. I am so pleased we got a CMF for Harry Potter, let alone TWO! As long as Lego continues to produce sets with unique minifigures I’d prefer to save the CMF slots for more licensed themes, whether that be IP’s Lego already makes sets on, or the one-off ones like Muppets or Looney Tunes!! Hoping for a Marvel Series 2 next year!

I haven't been a fan of Harry Potter itself really but I have liked seeing the more recent sets, like the big train and some of the other bigger ones. I tend to build the Star Wars UCS stuff and bigger pop culture things like Bowers, Optimus Prime and the DeLorean from BTTF. I think LEGO is reevaluating some of its things tho based on content being made. I know Fantastic Beasts came out but there isn't any new HP coming out (yet, think Warner bros is in talks with Rawling right now) whereas DC, Marvel and SW still do have new things coming. Who knows, guess we will see! The figures are definitely neat.

I really hope we do and I certainly think there is a lot of potential character wise and they know too there is a lot of interest. Unfortunately though I think it comes down to whether they would rather keep put characters in sets instead of handing them out in a CMF. I think one day we'll see one but I also don't see it happening anytime soon
Since the game Hogwarts Legacy is such a huge success and WB already announced to build upon this franchise with more games and maybe a new TV Show, Lego could use this setting for a series of new Sets or atleast the minifigure series 3.
I agree. Harry Potter mini figures are better used to sell sets. Since Lego isn't doing much of anything with the DC license, maybe they should use it for a mini figure series.
I´ll never forget when I bought some Harry Potter minifigures at a local store and an employee was totally fangirling about Harry Potter... Her face was priceless, when I said "Yes, this series is so great. I love your videos, but have a small suggestion for a videos like this - Instead of framing your thoughts as a prediction of what Lego *will* do, frame it as your recommendation of what Lego *should* do. “If Lego is going to create a series 3 of Harry Potter CMFs following the same pattern as the first two series, don’t bother. Here’s what Lego should do instead …” It would be pretty much the same video (with a subtle tonal shift), but instead of arrogantly making a definitive prediction, you’re offering analysis and advice as a knowledgeable, hard-core Lego fan. 🙂
Lego, has dropped the ball on thier audience and it starts with the Lan RUclips channels, I literally stop buying certain sets and themes because of how the companies treat you and mandr. Now with most sets being ridiculously expensive. I stopped buying all together. Such a shame.
Yes the Mid legs were my favourite part of the series one too! I really wish they re-did James potter with BLACK hair. I was so disappointed to see him with brown hair and then they printed brown side burns on him so I couldn’t just swap his hair over. :( A series 3 with the marauders generation at school would be epic. Or even the next generation with Harry’s kids would be amazing too. I feel if they were going to do a series 3 based on the books and movies though, they really need to do side characters that will never ever appear in sets. Redoing ones that keep reappearing is annoying. Rita, any of the Weasley kids left that haven’t been done, Charlie? Any other teachers that haven’t been done. Though I would love a Marauders generation at school.

In my opinion, the whole theme should be cancelled. I know it sells very well, but I don't see the point in it when the whole Wizarding World franchise is pretty much dead at this point and Harry Potter has been out of theaters now for over a decade. Plus, I don't think it's a good look for Lego to partner up with a person who's repeatedly discriminated against the LGBTQ community.

I know Fantastic Beasts came out but there isn't any new HP coming out (yet, think Warner bros is in talks with Rawling right now) whereas DC, Marvel and SW still do have new things coming. Who knows, guess we will see! The figures are definitely neat.
Yet lego hasn’t made any sets based on the new content for dc. 😞
My ideas for cmf series are lord of the rings, dc, star wars,indianna Jones and most of all, Doctor who.
They should do a marauders era series

I really hope we do and I certainly think there is a lot of potential character wise and they know too there is a lot of interest. Unfortunately though I think it comes down to whether they would rather keep put characters in sets instead of handing them out in a CMF. I think one day we'll see one but I also don't see it happening anytime soon

Since the game Hogwarts Legacy is such a huge success and WB already announced to build upon this franchise with more games and maybe a new TV Show, Lego could use this setting for a series of new Sets or atleast the minifigure series 3.
They need to rerelease some of these. I'd love to pick up HP2 and the first Disney one.
I agree. Harry Potter mini figures are better used to sell sets. Since Lego isn't doing much of anything with the DC license, maybe they should use it for a mini figure series.
I know it's not because of J.K. Rowling but the thumbnail sort of gives off those vibes lol.

I´ll never forget when I bought some Harry Potter minifigures at a local store and an employee was totally fangirling about Harry Potter... Her face was priceless, when I said "Yes, this series is so great. The hairpiece of Dumbledore is just perfect for Gandalf and my dwarfs will finally be bigger than hobbits while still being smaller than men..."

Instead of framing your thoughts as a prediction of what Lego *will* do, frame it as your recommendation of what Lego *should* do.

It would be pretty much the same video (with a subtle tonal shift), but instead of arrogantly making a definitive prediction, you’re offering analysis and advice as a knowledgeable, hard-core Lego fan. 🙂

Lego, has dropped the ball on thier audience and it starts with the Lan RUclips channels, I literally stop buying certain sets and themes because of how the companies treat you and mandr. Now with most sets being ridiculously expensive. I stopped buying all together. Such a shame.

I really wish they re-did James potter with BLACK hair. I was so disappointed to see him with brown hair and then they printed brown side burns on him so I couldn’t just swap his hair over. :(
A series 3 with the marauders generation at school would be epic. Or even the next generation with Harry’s kids would be amazing too.
I feel if they were going to do a series 3 based on the books and movies though, they really need to do side characters that will never ever appear in sets. Redoing ones that keep reappearing is annoying.

In my opinion, the whole theme should be cancelled. I know it sells very well, but I don't see the point in it when the whole Wizarding World franchise is pretty much dead at this point and Harry Potter has been out of theaters now for over a decade. Plus, I don't think it's a good look for Lego to partner up with a person who's repeatedly discriminated against the LGBTQ community.

They could have a series (of 12) with just the Doctors (or at least most of them).
I don't like this CMF, they put some rare minifigures in them and then you can't find him. And in the sets we get just a worst version of that figure.
This is off topic but i don't understand why lego releases a set and then retire the set the same year it just doesn't make sense
