@@foodisscarce okay you say that but listen to how much the 2004 version of the shrieking shack costed back then and what it would translate to now. Sure inflation has gotten out of control but that’s not legos fault, and they aren’t even close to being the only company to raise prices based on the increase. The only thing Lego is doing now that they haven’t done in the past is they’re releasing a bunch more large, complex, and expensive sets for the 18+ line. I think it's kind of a bummer that there is a color deviation in the Dark Tan of the Lupin Werewolf minifig: While Legs and Head have a reddish hue, the torso/arms have a greenish hue. It's clearly to be seen at around 5:30. I guess your set was produced in Mexico for the North American market, while my set comes from Czech Republic for the European market, but I have exactly the same color deviation! It's a shame since it is an exclusive minifig in a 90 Euro set! Surprisingly, the Dark Tan on the Human Lupin minifig they get right!
@@CheeseyStudios Yeah, it's quite an unfortunate direction LEGO is going in that regard. @@thequickestwit3920 That's epic! It was my first theme growing up, so I have a lot of great memories attached to it. I've got all of the first wave, but a little less of the later two
@@CheeseyStudios it was the first major theme, other than Bionicle, I got into as a kid. The 3 major castles from the theme were all really well done. The 3rd wave caste always gave me Helms Deep vibes.
One interesting thing I learned recently is that the purple motorcycle helmet has shot up in value recently for only being in two sets (both Knights Kingdom) since they introduction of the purple space man torso from Series 22.
Ohhhhhhh! I was wondering why Danju was so expensive compared to the other figures!
I agree with the 2004 Pettigrew minifigure he looks more like Uncle Vernon than Pettigrew,
I think the Lego Designers can’t tell the difference between Richard Griffiths As Uncle Vernon or Timothy Spall As Peter Pettigrew during 2004
Probably lololol.... He's so inaccurate, but it's a cool minifigure head nonetheless!
Stickers for masonry especially is always so offensive because the build is literally brick build. Get it together Lego!
hey! just wondering if we will ever get a studio tour sometime? thanks!
Yeah! It's currently members-only, but hopefully it'll come out some time in December. ruclips.net/video/P98XWI3F7Uw/видео.html
I have the newer set and found the weird fence and rotating stone to be pointless additions to the set.
Yeah, the fence was definitely fluff
still got the old set somewhere i think.
I love these videos, too bad they don't get as many views as the Minecraft videos.
Yeah 😪 I'll still keep doing them though! Harry Potter's always been my favorite theme
Homeboy just said "Have yourself a great LIFE" 😵
And I mean it!
the 2004 version has more appeal to me. I feel like this new one just seems like something I would get for part and pieces. Id say they are equal and that im never going to pay 150 dollars for less then 500 pieces.
Very valid lol
The term for the werewolf lupin legs is called digitigrade as opposed to plantigrade which would be normal legs
Oh nice! Thanks for letting me know - I've learned something new today :D
@@CheeseyStudios always happy to help
good video :D
Thank you!
🐸🐸🐸
I love that set
It's a good one for sure!
Cool
the reason the new honey dukes does don't have the trapdoor is because it is in the basement
Even so, the old one squeezed it in without a basement! Could have been a nice touch
I actually think the older one looks better. It is a lot cleaner and not as messy.
Wait there's a new chest piece? Why don't they use that for the minecraft sets?
They do! It showed up in most every summer set this year actually
@@CheeseyStudios Ah. Makes sense I haven't been looking at the minecraft sets lately
I got the new one
The new one is really cool. It's a great looking set!
@@CheeseyStudios yah it is
Video idea: ranking ever lego minecraft mob
Good idea!
@@CheeseyStudios ty
:]
I’m pretty sure Lobot from Star Wars also has all the way head print.
Oh nice! Someone else had pointed out a Star Wars figure that had it too. I'm trying to find the most recent example, and I wonder if they'd ever start doing it again
Talk about top of the head "only thing I can think of on the top of my head"
hehe
I saw th e2004 model available at our local Brisks and Minfigs for $300.
Woof, that's a steep price. Was it sealed?
@@CheeseyStudios used fully built set. Not sure if it had a box or books. It looked good... but I already have the newer one. Your clip makes it more attractive to me. Thanks for sharing it.
i think the new shrieking shack is a very good-looking set, but the wamping willow was a bit unnecessary
Probably. It does feel like it unnecessarily inflated the price. Though it does look good!
Great
Wait a minute, where have i seen this guy before…
Here, perhaps? :O ruclips.net/p/PLsKt5PwQV-mM6KrvPJDLtygwXGVUgfxmx
444 pieces vs 777 pieces, 4 figures vs 7 figures... I think it's intentional for sure!
It has to be 😂
444 pieces-4 figures
777 pieces-7 figures
…
Some crazy numbers games going on here xD
He transform into dead dog cirius
Lolol
Im glad you do potter videos. I get cancelled all the time just because im a harry potter fan, so its good that theres a safe space i can go to
You're always welcome here ❤
Day 31 one month: exactly 777 pieces lucky numbers

Day 32 and 33
Old Harry looks so drugged up
You not wrong 😂 But have you ever seen Goblet of Fire 2005 LEGO Ron? Now THAT is some cursed stuff
@@CheeseyStudios holy mother of god
@@CheeseyStudios but also the old hermione had demon eyes
I think you forgot to upload the village expansion for non-members
Nope, comes out tomorrow.
@@CheeseyStudios ah, really excited!

Kinda gotta agree with Others here
You can just order another sticker sheet it's free to do. I do it every time I get stickers like that
Yeah, for sure. I'd just rather they get it right the first time 😪
@CheeseyStudios oh I know trust at the end of the day it's still annoying
I’ll always love the 2004 line it just hurts so much that i didnt get this set back then
I do wish they were easier to pick up these days, but they just get more and more expensive... :,c
