- We took our our stock 4Runner Limited to Hidden Falls Adventure Park in Marble Falls, TX to see how she would handle. Our only upgrade are the all-terrain Toyo tires.

My one and only comment, the magnetic or stick on flags above the limited emblems are backwards. The field is always forward as to be charging into battle.

She's stock..right? I have a 2017 stock. She can do a lot. Just gotta get a feel for her. I've had mine this long and just starting to get that feel and confidence. I used to be a Mustang person. I don't think I'll go back.....
This is awesome. I got my 22 4Runner 4x4 a couple of weeks. Just like yours and I was looking for a trail to take it off road as I live in San Antonio.
That would be the perfect place for you to go! It’s n Marble Falls. There are always plenty of well equipped rigs out there, so if you find yourself in a jam, someone is close to lend a helping hand. Congrats on the new ride, and have fun!!

Thankyou, this is what I needed to see. I bought a 2019 4R limited in Sept. I am still learning about it. I wanted true off road capabilities even though almost all of my driving will be in town. I love your seat covers... can you tell me what company made them? Thanks again!

The fixed running boards really limits the off-road capability. It basically lowered the ground clearance by 2.5 inches. You should consider removing them.
I absolutely agree with you. I really just wanted to see what it could do while still stock. I wish I could have gotten footage of everything. I was definitely limited, but still very impressed with the 4Runner’s performance.
What year is the 4Runner? You guys were really gentle with it at Hidden Falls. I have some videos of me at Hidden Falls on some difficult trails that would test that 4Runner. Take a look at some of my videos and see. I hope you guys go back when it rains as the trails all get a bit harder and more fun. So, go challenge yourself again.
It is my daily driver, so yes, first go round I babied it lol.
I wish they'd add the TRD Pro grill and bumper on the limited. Lose some of the skirt or at least offer the option. Great to see what i can do off-road! Debating Limited or TRD Pro.
YES! I agree! If your planning to do off roading, I would go for the TRD Pro. It is off-road ready. I do like the Limited, but there are so many upgrades to make to get it as capable as the TRD.

Yes. I kept the factory wheels for now and just replaced the tires.

No. They are Toyo Open County AT III - 245 60 20.
Looks good. I put 275/55r20 BFG AT on my Limited. Very slight rubbing on the driver fender liner. Nothing that can't easily be solved.
Some smaller rims (in diameter) and meatier tires would go a long way. Also deflate your tires to make a bigger footprint, griping rocks and mud would be a breeze
It is on the agenda to change out wheels and tires. We did air down and back up. Even with the big wheels it makes a difference.
What mode were you in? (4h, 4l, 4f) ?
I only used 4H once and that was when I got stuck in the mud.

JUST GOT ONE UNDER GOUND you never know what color it will be , black, gray, blue, prices going down fast , I paid 47,200, my MINI LAND CRUISER, love the center Differential, Full frame, full time 4 wheel drive, full time truck, Just use it to hunting with my dogs. Old guy retire.2024
i instantly turned volume off and vid if they play shity/any music over the offroading.
Enjoyed the video, but could live without the soundtrack. Annoying.
