@@OGsubway I complain about certain things that I personally find are within reason but the lizard??? He looks perfect. Yes the gremlin legs would look cool but the fact that the normal ones look this good truly shows what an amazing minifigure it already is. Also the “there’s no print on the front of the tail” thing is so stupid

The gremlin legs and printing on the tail and maybe the arms are the only things it could use, but it doesn’t need any of them.
Lizard in the movie still has normal human sized proportions but he is just larger, so the normal fig pushed up a little by the tail works great imo
Also, this is easily one of the coolest combinations of sets lego has done (not as cool as hogwarts from last year tho)
The lizard is great but I feel that they definitely could have used those demigorgon legs

This is one of the only sets that actually live up to the photos and the box art. With those backgrounds and poses they make the set seem more detailed and big so this set get a solid 8.5/10
I know they did something similar with Jabba’s Palace and a Rancor set several years ago. Lego should do these combo sets more often.
1. Sandman's cure was a handheld grey device, basically a 2 long rod and a stud with hole.
2. I hope the big hand build gets used more, I love the 1x1x2 modified and rounded bricks.
Just theorizing because I'd hate for that to be the fire extinguisher

I got this set a few days ago and what surprised me the most is how great it is as its own thing
And when you have all of the NWH sets starting from 2021, you can get the full sinister 6 with Vulture, Lizard, Electro, Doc Ock, Green Goblin, and Sandman
Sinister eight if you include Mysterio and the bug thing from the 2021 wave
Luckily I collected all of the NWH sets so Yippee.

I really wish we got the avatar stuff for the lizard, you can really see how big he is when he fights Andrew in the school and the sewer but I really love this set
Those avatar legs look so bad tho. I’d rather him be short and not look goofy.
Well, the legs used for the avatar form of the villain are the same shade of green as the lizard, just get the fig and some nail polish remover lego movie style!

I absolutely cannot wait for this set. I’ve been adding different Spider-Man villains and other spiderverse Spider-Man to my liberty set so this will make my build 10x better. Especially sandman holding Spider-Man I’m in love with that.
I know the chances are low, but I REALLY hope they make a NWH bridge battle set that includes the OG Green Goblin look...!

That would be great! Plus an updated iron spider minifig would be nice! Imagine if they gave him dual moulded legs...
And the fight in Happy's place - they probably would never include May in that set, but otherwise it'd be a good way to get casual Norman/Goblin, Sandman as a minifig, and maybe even a J.K. Simmons JJJ.

I think that the "flamethrower,, could be Lizard cure, because in the scene we can see Peter firing some gas at Lizard from something that looks like a flamethrower.

I'm absolutely in love with this set. HOWEVER I feel like the $38 is way too much to pay for this set :/
If u look at what it has and that a buildable figure is 35 I think it makes sense
@@exocolt15 that’s on the upper end, the Spider-Man ones are only 25. But I do agree, 38 isn’t bad.
@@turbkeysamdwich1880 The three that are 24.99 USD are almost 2 years old and on the verge of retirement. I’m talking about current sets. Antman is 29.99. All the rest that released this year (of which there are 3) are all 32.99 USD. Obviously that’s the current price point for the buildable figures.
@@turbkeysamdwich1880 I will say for the buildable figures anything over 20$ feels like a rip off to me but this set definitely has a lot more going for it imo.

I think you're right they should make more "action figures" that are actually supposed to work with minifigs like possibly a Sentinel for exemple, (although that would probably be a bit too big and it would kinda need to have a Minifigure).
Sentinels come in different sizes. So I think it’d look really awesome having one that size
Yeah, I realized that later and Honestly if they want to continue doing those kind of sets I think they should do stuff like that and A Galactus with Silver surfer Minifig too or A giant Groot and stuff like that.@@Ashnflash

I found it early at a target and of course I bought it along with rocket’s warbird. They’re both amazing and I can’t wait to attach sandman to the Statue of Liberty head.

Edit: about an hour before, I went to Kohl’s because they’re somewhat known to sell legos before their release date. However because almost everything was on clearance, there were barely any legos there. The same thing happened with target with everything on sale for the end of the year, and there it was sitting on the shelf. I was jumping for joy when I saw it.

I really hope we get more comic based villains, especially in the spiderman sets! Big fig Lizard, Molecule Man, and Big Wheel are my hopes for the next 5 years 🙌

With the Electro's, what I'm gonna do is mix them so they've got the same electric build, pose them the same way, and have him going through the portals
You could use the Spider-Man reuse as it going through the both portals
Hi ashnflash I am a little confused as to how to add electro into the build with him on the specialized curved posing piece when combined with the statues head like the position I have him in now is the same as in your video honestly I think that on the right of the build looks a bit cluttered with doc ock ,electro and doctor strange thank you for all the great reviews I can't wait for the Lego city island prison as I am a major fan of playsets thank you so much😊
I want a set with Minifig Sandman, and Blue Electro with the inside out spidy suit. Maybe it could come with electricity towers.
Would also love a bridge battle with Evil Doc Ock with nano tech arms and a classic goblin, mask and all (hopefully with leg and arm printing) and Peter in the suit and tie or maybe with half his nano tech removed as a torso print.

I definitely love the set I'd buy two just because of the buildable action figure I can use it for my batman lego collection as a clay face!
It was so hard to put together the lizard piece was so difficult to put on and the electro backpack thing kept falling apart and sandman was difficult to put in but now it’s better and all together
fun fact before this video was released i saw this set at my local lego store i was amazed by the new lizard fig but i was shocked to see no one was talking about it

What would you recommended to do with the leftover base from the sand man set
Sandman's cure was already in the NWH final battle set so i think, if anything, it might be The Lizard's cure. But that was blue in the movie so I hope it's not an extinguisher too.
I mean Ned, MJ and strange don't have the right outfits so Lego getting the colour of lizards cure wrong wouldn't surprise me. Or maybe I'm living in denial
I’m actually ok w/o a Sandman minifigure. I have a few already but I’ve always wanted a sandman build like this.
I hope they make a bridge battle set with a more accurate doc Ock with dark green printing and the dark red arms, and green goblin with the mask and a new iron spider Minifigure
You could also interpret sandman as a comic book thing and put him in any comic MOC
Honestly the lizard is really cool and I enjoy the look of it
The fire hydrant build is the cure for lizard which is a nice detail

I have this set and i would say it Is AMAZING. Plus we wanted a Lego version of the lizard

It’s a surprisingly great set on its own as a display piece which is strange to say about lego Spider-Man sets
