My husband agreed with your assessment! He saw him and his band in the early nineties and could not believe how adept and fast all his fingers were because they seemed to all be plucking and strumming!
.... this is a killer live performance. Easily in my top 10. I think I like 'Paradise Under the Dashboard Lights' better, but it may not be fair as it was meant as a stage production. The Stones live "Waiting on a Friend" is also killer and Green Manilishi, but this kills it.
@@theccpisaparasite8813 think the best one personally is Phil Collins in the air tonight 2004. Incredible, but Fleetwood Mac equally as enjoyable for me.
@@jackstonedesign i think that everyone has their favorites and you really can't argue against any of them. I just love Meatloaf's live stuff because he got his start in musical theater and he brings all of that humor and stagecraft with him into those marvelous shows. Alas, I suspect the best of all these artists was never caught on film and is left lingering on stage and in the memories of those who saw it. You have a good one.
I agree. I have been all over youtube looking for people that react genuinely and with passion for what they are hearing. These guys are two of the very best and I have seen dozens so that is saying a lot.
Buckingham is a genius. The whole band were perfect together, Mick, Christie, Lyndsey and Stevie) so that's why they managed to produce the perfect album (Rumours 1977), How Lyndsey manages to get that kind of sound out of his guitar when he doesn't even use a pick, is just mind blowing.
...and John McVie. The fusion of all five created that perfection. I do agree with you, though, that Lindsey was the genius in the sauce that brought the whole thing up to transcendental.
The Rumors Album is incredible, not a bad song on it. The album came out my freshmen year in college and was number one on BillBoard Hot 200 charts for something like 33 weeks. It is still on chart today, sitting at 27. It has been on the charts 431 weeks! Great song choice guys!!
Went to San Jose State with Stevie and Linsey and worked with Stevie at the same restaurant. Such a great song. I highly recommend you react to Joe Bonamassa doing "Angel of Mercy" live at The Greek Theater... ranked as one of the great guitarists of this or any other generation. Guaranteed to blow you away.
Have a look and listen to Christine McVie's solo albums. She also has a fantastic voice which is often overshadowed by Stevie's,, I can't think of the album names, but you will find her as Christine Perfect back in the Seventies and as Christine McVie in the 2000's, her voice always sooths me!!!!
I am always amazed and mesmerized by the talent on that stage, the camera pans to shots of the audience and they are all sitting still... HOW!!! I would have been at the front of the stage screaming had I been there!!!
I LOVE this band ...i agree with your reactions, but i also think Christine McVie is overlooked sometimes . She has a fine voice and a perfect combo to Stevie
I'm one of the weird minority that actually prefers her songs... her voice is so crystal pure and her lyrics are more relatable to me. That's taking nothing away from Stevie, its just a matter of taste, and I think all of their work is over-the-top quality.

I love this song. John McVie is a master bassist and has written an excellent bass accompaniment to this song. The whole album is amazing, Thank you for sharing.
I agree with Mr Cook. You need to react to some early FMac before Buckingham and Nicks arrived. Hypnotized and Sentimental Lady featuring Bob Welch are musts, as well as Oh Well in the Peter Green era. Cheers bros, keep going down the FMac 🐰 hole!
This is from their reunion/ concert called “The Dance.” I HIGHLY suggest you guys watch the entire “The Dance” concert- it almost never happened due to past relationships, tension, etc., over the years- There are certain songs in this concert where you can really see it- especially between Stevie, and Lindsay Buckingham- lots of drama over the decades.. but pouring into their fantastic music- I highly suggest “Tusk” from this concert- Original first, if you haven’t heard it yet- Talk about drums!! Trust me please- When this concert came out, we bought it immediately! 💙💙✌️ edit: I was typing while listening- I listened to y’all speak at the end .. sorry, I told you stuff you already knew- Except that you must see this ENTIRE concert, called “The Dance.” - I just get excited- love F.M. and LOVE Stevie solo as well- she is my spirit animal- 😄
For more attention to Lindsey vocals and even better guitar work, check out I'm So Afraid, from this same 1997 The Dance concert. Another good version is 1982 Live concert. Those are best sound quality and arrangements out of all the many posts of this song on YT, even better than studio. Pretty sure the lyrics are very personal for Lindsey. I'm obsessed with this song and I've been a fan since Stevie and Lindsey had their own band called the Buckingham Nicks.
I agree, "BIG LOVE" The live version will totally blow you away. It's Lindsey all by himself. It's unreal! Incredible talent!!! You really should check that one out!!!
I got to watch this performance live with my parents when I was 7, a good memory ill hold onto. Also Lindsey Buckingham is the most underrated front man of a generation, I got to meet there tour manager once and I asked is Lindsey's finger picking all those songs and he told me that he was originally a bass player so thats why he played so well that style
Lindsay Buckingham is a great singer song writer, and a phenomenol guitar player. What a guineas! His production on some of Stevies songs was also amazing. His duets with Christine on some her songs are some of my favorite songs. Amazing band, super talented people. That Lindsay could lay down exactly the amount of guitar for any of the girls songs was genius, I think His restraint was a big part of his genius. He played soft when soft was best, etc. And harmonies, those Mac harmonies when all 3 singers take the chorus, velvet heaven.
Please check out Fleetwood Mac in the early years with Peter Green. I suggest the live version of Green Manalishi, or the original Black Magic Woman, later covered by Santana. Most people don't even know Peter Green wrote and performed it first. Also Oh Well parts 1 and 2, Albatross and Fool No More. The Buckingham Nicks era was the most commercially successful incarnation of the band, but I personally prefer the raw talent of the early years and the genius of Peter Green and Danny Kirwan. Peter Green named the band, Fleetwood for Mick Fleetwood and Mac for John MacVie. Nobody ever reacts to the early FM. RIP Peter Green.
Fabulous live version of one of my favourite songs from Rumours album - I absolutely love the guitar solo - fantastic. Great reaction to this wonderful song, guys, many thanks.
If you knew HALF of the history between them two, and the whole band, it would make your draw drop. This song encapsulates so much that went down back in the 70's. It's the stuff of legends.
Lindsey has always been one of my favorite guitarists. His finger style is phenomenal. Very underrated guitar player, and vocalist for that matter. Because Stevie was always such a great singer and very magnetic on stage Lindsey was not recognized as much as he otherwise would be. Great band. They probably would hold the world record for most Cocaine ever consumed by a band if such records were recorded as well. So we’ll done their. 😉 🤙🏻
What a performance! I can't imagine the feeling these singers and musicians get when they create such magic! I guess it shows that they are Rock Gods! Great reaction, thanks.
I'm SO glad you guys responded to this one. Yes, this is one of the best guitar solos I have ever seen. I remember when they had this on PBS back in 1997 and I had to buy the CD to it as soon as possible. This WHOLE reunion concert was incredible. Please keep checking out more from this "The Dance" concert!
I love these people. I would die to see Lindsey on stage with Mark Knopefeler and Carlos Santana in a 3 guitar duel. That would be epic. All three are amazing and unique.
Great video to watch ! I didn't know about all the cotributions of Lindsey Buckingham. " In 2011, Buckingham was ranked 100th in Rolling Stone's list of "The 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time""
HELL yeah, my Brothers! They're so good live, and as you said, their chemistry is as good as it gets! You MUST get their double live album from their 1980 tour, just called FLEETWOOD MAC LIVE. It was actually just reissued on vinyl I think. It is insanely good, and Lyndsey goes nuts! PEACE!!
Hahaha! great reaction guys, I bought this album as a kid, just because the cover intrigued me...I was blown away by Lindsey, and your responses took me back to that day!
Thanks for reminding me, again, how fortunate I was to see them live so many times. I was young and I took it for granted that I'd see them every few years.
Well that's a glimpse of what you get when you go to see a Fleetwood Mac Concert!!!! All That SAUCE!!!!!! LMAO!!!! And I have been to 4 of their concerts and the concert go on for 4 to 4 hours......a lot of 6 to 15 minute extended songs. Their concert are very hard to describe...to others who have attended them. You have got to be there!!! It is an unforgettable experience!!!!
Guys, I don't know if you can tell by Stevie and Lindsay's body language, but in this song they are singing to each other. At one time they were a couple, but during work for their legendary Rumours album, they, in addition to the bass player and keyboard player and the drummer were all undergoing romantic breakups. Out of all the breakups came some legendary songs and Rumours to this day probably the best loved breakup album.
You need to see Lindsey sing his solo song "Go Insane" that he played with Fleetwood Mac on stage often (version: Go Insane (Live 1997, 2002 Remaster). It's ridiculously incredible (playing/singing).
This was great! Never seen this song live. That’s an interesting looking guitar being played by Lindsey Buckingham. Great reaction! Please react to some more of Linda Ronstadt. She is so under appreciated. Love your channel 🥰
Lindsey Buckingham was such a great tallent. Top singer/songwriter, but so under rated as a guitarist.
My husband agreed with your assessment! He saw him and his band in the early nineties and could not believe how adept and fast all his fingers were because they seemed to all be plucking and strumming!
well, he made the rolling stone´s 100 greatest guitarists of all time-list.
I think you mean he IS a great talent.
@@sarahzentexas Okay, if that's what you think that's fine. I actually meant exactly what I said though.

You have a good one.
You got that right!! Lindsay has always been underrated. The guy is a wizard on that guitar man.
You young men do such a great job. You are so respectful of the artists. You do a great job, beautiful genuine reactions. Thank you both
I agree. I have been all over youtube looking for people that react genuinely and with passion for what they are hearing. These guys are two of the very best and I have seen dozens so that is saying a lot.
They give me hope!
Yea they rock!
These 2 r the best...right here!
Check out "Big love" and "I’m so afraid" Lindsey actually kicks up the pace!
Fantastic!!! OMG! ❤❤❤
Agreed, Lindsey is sooooo underrated!
Big Love LIVE!!
We will!
Some of the best drumming on this one!!

Funny to think that a group that was in many ways dysfunctional with lots of infighting was so amazing with 2 of the biggest selling albums.
The did a song called "Crystal" when they were still a couple.
One of the sweetest love songs ever.
The band is Fleetwood Mac - Mick Fleetwoods drums are awesome = RIP the lovely Christine a songbird in heaven for sure
This is why it's good to hear the studio versions first and then see what else a group can bring to the table.

Stevie Nicks has had to both listen to this song for at least 20 years here and, perform in the song and, the song is directed at her.
I always thought Christine McVie was sexy. Great song and band! Lindsey’s fingerpicking is legendary. What a guitar player.
