How to Replace Front Brake Pads on BMW S1000RR Without Removing Calipers

If you own a BMW S1000RR (up to and including the 2019 model), you'll appreciate this how to guide for replacing front brake pads without removing the calipers. In this video we'll show you how the pads are actually held in and the components that retain them. Then we'll show you how to do the replacement with the calipers still fitted to the bike.
Each pair takes around 1 minute 40 seconds to fit, with a full pad replacement taking around 10 minutes to do. Obviously, if the brakes are hot you will need to wear protective gloves and it might take a little longer than the time shown in the video.
