"It doesn't matter how much water you put in" - Well that is the most confidently wrong thing I have heard all day!

It's painful to hear but remember it's mainly for ballast (weighing down) rather than strength in this application.

0:50 you don't need to add sand to the ballast, it already has sand in it.
One standard mix is 4 aggregate (no sand), 2 sand, 1 cement.
A standard ballast mix is 6 ballast, 1 cement.

dont forget - leave natural ventillation to blow thru the walls (like weather board) then you wont have a humidity problem so much, course you dont wnt driving rain blowing in a a water mist, depends on how sheltered you are. Works for my shed, no ceiling condensation

I had it playing on the side so i didn't notice that.
Thanks for the heads up. I see it now.
I've heard of a lot of people getting sick again with symptoms similar to covid, so I thought maybe something new had been announced.
      Sorry 😅

How NOT to build a big heavy shed on soil. 🤣
Let me know if it's still plumb in a few years.

The structure is still standing four years later, so it's unlikely to move. However, the construction method used-concreting posts into the ground-is excessive and may eventually lead to failure, although not in the near future.

worth placing a trash bag on the end of the post that will be touching the cement to protect the wood from water damage? guessing the posts already in cement have had no issues with water damage

Should of used concrete post. That pressure treated wood doesn't last long.

Should have used have and not of in that sentence!

@@SpeccyMan I believe it's a common mistake where people say "should've" and it sounds like "should of" so that's how it's perceived. People hear all kinds of things that are wrong, like Chimley, skelington, archeries (when they mean arteries) etc
