I just love it that you go with YOUR taste in smell, like Allure Sport instead of what 99% of people say, which is the Extreme one, and you're actually the 1st person that has ever mentioned the lavender Prada cologne above the L'Homme, not to mention posting Eros Flame above the traditional Eros, and naming Kouros as a top one!!!

Allure homme sport is by far the better fragrance. It's in my top three of all time.
so, you are saying allure homme sport is the better flanker as allure homme sport eau extreme? this is a serious question guys, I don't know either of them but I am on the fence for getting one of these. they are not cheap. many reviewers recommend the extreme flanker, some say the edition blanc is even better.

I hate the smell of Prada L'Homme but understood the concept of what it was trying to do- Prada Amber to my mind brings this disjunct to an olfactory resolution. Upon smelling the sample I immediately bought a full bottle.

I only enjoy the original la nuit de l'homme, i smelled the edp and the parfum but the only one i like is the edt, I don't mind it does not last as long, I just appreciate the smell

As simple as that, I'd go with dior savouge or channel EDP for office and morning casual outings and The one EDP for evening casual outings or date

Interesting to see Penhaligon Sartorial in there. That is my #2 in my 40 bottle "barbershop" Fougere collection, right behind Tom Ford Beau de Jour. Interestingly, I also have the original Le Male in my "barbershop" Fougere collection. It's an interesting "party barbershop Oriental gourmandy" fougere. And also in my BS Fougere collection is Drakkar Noir, another Barbershop Fougere with a twist that fooled the 20 something party boys of the 1980's. If I were to pick the ten must-haves for life and were to do it straight by rank from my personal favorites collection, without regard for occasion appropriateness:

While Sartorial is good, no doubt, saying it’s the best is a reach IMO. There are many many amazing fougere frags out there but my favorite will always be the original which is Fougere Royale by Houbigant. It was the first fougere ever made (1880s I believe) and still sets the standard. The amazing mix of lavender and bergamot, the slight cinnamon and rose and the tonka bean make for a truly amazing scent. I’m sure there are other notes in there also but those are what I smell. If your a fan of this style scent don’t worry about the price and buy a bottle. It’s worth it not only for the luxury smell and presentation but also the nostalgia

@@Ok21111 I do like the Chanel it's very classy but Ima have to go with Sauvage EDT EDP then Parfum last. What's the difference between the Bleu de Chanel EDT EDP and Parfum? I've only smelled the EDP.
For Sauvage, it's like the EDT is for men in their 20s, EDP is for 30s, and Parfum for 40s is how I look at it.
@@juliusseizure4983 the difference between the 3 of them is the EDP is a mixture of Sweet Spicy and Fresh and smells alot like Grapefruit. The EDT is less sweet and mostly Fresher than the other two but doesn’t smell like grapefruit at all. And the Parfum also kinda smells like alittle bit of grapefruit it has a little spice and a lot of sweet but no fresh. Especially the dry down it’s too sweet. And I also like Sauvage not as much as the Chanel but too many people wear it so I don’t wear it that much.
@@Ok21111 It's funny to me because it seems like I never notice another person wearing Sauvage, maybe too generic. But I do notice a lot of people wearing the Chanel, it's very distinct.

I just came across this channel, the 1 minute reviews proposal is interesting 👍🏼 Now, I have to say that Sartorial is great, especially the opening that reminds me of when my father (RIP) shaved and wore Brut (when still it was Fabergé), but out there are more interesting and sophisticated barbershop fragrances like YSL Rive Gauche (try a decant), Pour un Homme de Caron (a totally relevant classic for its simplicity), Creed Bois du Portugal (Sinatra's signature fragrance), MFK Masculin Pluriel, Roja Scandal, Nishane B -612 or MDCI Invasion Barbare, this latter the best fougere I have put my nose on so far. And Lynx Africa? FOR LIFE? Seriously? Respectable, but you have a lot to know "little grasshopper" 😉

I have both YSL Rive Gauche Pour Homme and Penhaligon Sartorial in my collection. Both are great and contribute in their own way to the "barbershop" Fougere anthology, but if I were to crown one for "sophistication" it would be Sartorial. I also have the bust bottle version of MDCI Invasion Barbare, because I am silly enough to value the visual presentation that highly. Very nice. I don't classify Bois du Portugal as a "barbershop" Fougere, even though I do have its recognized near-clone Lalique Pour Homme lion in my Barbershop Fougere collection as a variation on the barbershop fougere genre. I tell people I see Bois du Portugal as being for the grandad who just got out of the barber's chair and is getting ready for an evening date with the elegant Sophia Loren. A smooth, classy, sophisticated, romantic, come-to-daddy barbershop frag.
Mix MFK Masculin Pluriel with Chanel Platinum Egoiste (I sprayed MFK around my neck area and the PE loosely on my hoody. Grade A fragrance layering there
lynx africa was my go to when i was 16. a supermarket classic .
Bvlgari Man in black is one of my all time favorite because of the complexity, price, projection and longevity. Opening is weird but dry down is absolutely fire

Le Male is one of the all time greats but I don’t like wearing it. Too sugary sweet for my tastes but for a teenager to mid-20 year old this is a fantastic choice.

My grandfather has an unfinished bottle of YSL KOUROS from the 90's and i think it went bad... IDK it smells like a bar of soap when i tried it , disnt really like it, but it last for a very long time still.

I don't classify it as a barbershop Fougere. It's more of a hybrid of Green Irish Tweed DNA with a barbershop Fougere DNA, and produces an astringent metallic accord in the process.

I can't name my favorite fragrance, as it's discontinued and just keeps going up in price. Individual by Monte Blanc would have to be on the list, though. It can be used for anything except for the club/gym.

Office: CH Men (Red ribbon) and again YSL L'Homme and Mont Blanc Explorer. On suit-and-tie days, Blue De Chanel. But I no longer have suit and tie days these days.
Clubbing: Nothing. Just shower. Fresh out the shower. Can't explain but in a club where everyone is just layered with shit, you stand out by just smelling clean. Nothing. Nada. Just straight out the shower.
