- We recently had the pleasure of having the highly skilled Texas based Guitarist and MESA aficionado Quinten Hope join us in the studio for a series of tone sessions. Quinten’s current live rig includes two Fillmore 50s in stereo, plus he also has a Fillmore 100! He’s the perfect artist to showcase the versatility of the Fillmore Series. Here he performs “Electric Gigue” from his album Reunion. In this session he’s playing his #1 favorite Opey Fender Stratocaster that he’s owned for many years. It is one of the last guitars built by master builder John English. For pickups, Quinten is using Jason Lollar Specials and his guitar is strung with GHS Boomers, big core 10.5s.

Quinten Hope did a fine job demonstrating one of your great products. Both were a pleasure to listen to.
The amp's great, the player's even better.
Absolutely fantastic playing and tone!!!!! Great song too.
Wow! Love this!
Love the tone and the playing. Tasteful chops.
I love that song. Great playing and very nice tones!
Amazing!
Mesa is my choice of amplification, i run two King snake combos, unbelievable tone. This is a lovely amp too and fair play to mesa they make a quality toneful product. excellent! One of the guitars i play through it is that Tv yellow p90 same as he has stood at the back there. You have to be in the room with the king snake to appreciate how they project within a band, they just cut and its so full. Grab a Mesa you cant go wrong !
The intro sounds so much like Eric Johnson - Trademark
that's what I was thinking
Nicely done!
Nice guitar and magnific amp.
Great playing, great sounding amp too!
Awesome just bought one 👏
Buen guitarrista , buen amplificador , excelente demostración .
SUCH A FINE TONE...

Mesa forever🔊🔊🔊🎛👍👍👍
Anyone know in here if there is a chance in hell that Mesa maybe will change out the cabclone in the production amps (Mark V 25 35 etc) with a smaller version of the cabclone ir? I really want a Mark V 25 or 35 but I would love the versatility of the cabclone ir without having to buy both. I would settle for just 2 or 3 cabs in each. I'm just day dreaming I guess. It would be kickass if they did.
Is the speaker used here the Celestion C90 or the Creamback?
Quinten, do you still use your lonestar? Or did the Fillmore 100 replace it?
I love my Lone Stars. They are my heart. But, I find myself using these Fillmores more and more and more. More vids to come... both studio and live on using the rig.
@@TheQhope Thanks, I guess you really cant go wrong with either! Hey, found an awesome video of you playing the Rain Song by Zeppelin! What a great version, the audience didn't seem to understand what you were actually playing, just wanted you to know that I absolutely Loved It! Peace.
Yeah man. The Lone Star is like the perfect Blackface on steroids and the Fillmores are like the perfect hot rod Tweed, and then some!!!
Yes!!!! The Rain Song!!! My good buddy, Mike Gruich, told me I should do that one... and he was right. It’s such a great and amazing composition. Really fun. Who knows... maybe with some vocals one day...
I’ve used the Lone Star and Fillmore together and that is another awesome combo. Like you said, just can’t go wrong.
I know you're endorsing Mesa, but we want to know how it compare to the Lonestar clean tone?
Mike oldfield
Eric johnson sure has spurred alot of clones.
Great playing, great sounding amp too!
