I was in the 620/183 area in NW Austin when it hit....just down 183 from Cedar Park. It was a crazy day.

I was in Austin when that happened. It was a weird energy in the air even in South Austin. :(

Pretty sure I remember this storm. School at Travis Heights still opened even though there was no power, and we made ants on a log 😂

0:17 to 0:20. Dead Man Walking footage right there, evident by the head, hands, and arms at the top, along with the torso, legs, and feet at the base, as well as the scythe-like vortex extending out from the top of the storm. As terrifying, sickening, and spooky as it looks with still pictures, it looks even more evil, disturbing, and nightmarish with video camera, showing its horrific motion and rotation in real time, as well as forming in such unusual conditions, including little or no wind shear, and travelling from Northeast to Southwest. And how about the fact that this anniversary uses the number 27 in many things: 27th Day of May, 27 years ago, and 27 fatalities. A day in Texas Weather History that will never be forgotten.
