New manufacturer on me, thanks for the review. Very interested in the Horten, lovely internal details on that one.

Just a pronunciation note, the name of the manufacturer is more like ZOH-KAY MOO-RAH. I just finished their F-4J and found the detail excellent, the instructions chock full of info, but a bit short of paint call outs in some spots, and ultimately very cramped and claustrophobic. The build order didn’t make sense to me, so at some point I just gave up and built up everything I could as subassemblies, painted the nose, attached the intakes, finished the painting, decaled, then assembled everything in the best way to avoid collateral damage. There was an interesting translation issue where they called out the starboard wingtip navigation light as being blue (and even identifying clear blue paint from manufacturers), I assume because if you ask a Japanese person what color a green traffic light is, they will say “aoi”, which means blue. Thanks for the review.

Gorgeous kit. Top shelf stuff. I think part J31 is a defrost duct.

Great looking kit, a bit over detailed for my likings. I'll do the full Lancaster interior, I'll know it's in there and done right, I'll even purchase the 1;48 fuel tank ends (if you ever do them), you'll see looking into wheel wells. But to do extensive interior details just to box up never to be seen again is a bit too much for me. I love the instructions and the approach on how they show things (I especially like how they tell you what each component is, a feature I like with Tamiya instructions).
You did a great job showing plastic without debagging, I never debag sprues myself, thinking worth more as a rainy day source of money. Like you I'm not getting younger and think about future sources of money. I have kits still in the delivery cardboard boxes...totally untouched.

I can relate to that I have a huge stash of unbuilt kits some still in delivering boxes too maybe we are related spiritually?😀

Thank you, Nigel, for this detailed revue. I was very curious to see what a Zukei Mura kit looks like. That's tempting. I was very interested by the Horten 229 wing, this is such a cool plane, but I have a pile of kits also. The plan is to sell all of my un-started kits, finish the ones I started, and start on a clean slate : "buy/build", but it's probably never going to happen... On that plane's conception, the fuel tank right behind the pilot was a strange and deadly idea, I thought that they were in the wing by default, but this one has both, if it was only in the wings, the pilot would have a small chance to bail-out... There is a nice build of this kit from ScaleModelAircraft channel

This is too nice a kit to just gather dust on a shelf. Would love to see you build this one exposing some of the fuselage and wing innards as you go 👍

They are really in a class of its own. I bought the F4E and it had one part missing from the sprue but It wasnt in the plastic. I send them a Mail that I miss a part and the next morning I checked my Emails and there was allready a tracking number for express delivery together with a deep apollogie. 5 Days later I recieved a rather big envelope with THE COMPLETE SPRUE as a replacement. All of that free of charge! When I compare that to Kitty hawk where I had a cracked canopy in the Plastic of my YAK 130 Ive had to pay them 10 bucks and never recieved anything! I mean It was a faulty product, how can you charge for that? I feel ripped of twice by them. Really love your review of the HS129 and your other videos as well! Do you think there will be a different version in the future like a B-3? Cheers! PS: You should make a live stream so we can sit together modeling and talking about... well... modeling :D Greetings from Germany!

Mine is almost completed. Just doing the painting and detail now. I loved the details but not so much all the removable panels. I built mine all together and the panel fit is not the best. If you build this, don't bother with the instrument panel... you won't see it at all, even with an open canopy.
