Yo bro!! Safe travels!! Trailer/UTV(he schooled me that it wasn’t a dune buggie, lol,) are very cool(I wouldn’t ride it!! I’ve personally have seen his driving skills and I’m afraid! Just look at his face!! lol, yes, I went there!! lol) My grandkids sat in it though!! It should make for more adventures and sight seeing!! It is quite the beast!! Be safe!!❤
Good to see you back. I have an 8 11 Northern Lite, I was out near Port Elgin a couple of weeks ago. Nice place. Looking forward to your videos, cheers
Nice looking truck & Camper JJ cant forget about the toy hauler and the beast inside, safe travels man enjoy the journey see ya Down the road again hopefully.
Welcome back my friend! We missed ya! Nikki and I hope to catch up with you one day soon. We're planning on a semi-repeat of last year, although perhaps doing the RTR first instead of Skooliepalooza and then Baja for a few months. Love the new toy!
@@jjsoutthere7267 Just sitting here in Antalya Turkey for a month. LOL! No bus, just a rented apartment. We've been traveling sans skoolie for almost 6 months now but will be back by the end of the year to that life again. Hopefully recreating the tracks we made together down in Baja.
Just saw your video pop up, thankful your doing well as yes I was curious how things were going for you as you summer in Canada !. Finished watching the video and indeed the trailers that are not as tall over all will have the inner fenders while the tall ( high off the ground floor of the trailer ) allows for no inner fender but the downside is the extra over all height. Looking forward to seeing what your experience will be with the falken AT tires. Oh and did you end up getting the front torsion bars adjusted a bit to raise the front end for a bit more suspension travel ... and take the initial sag out as its common for springs to give up some of their initial height from new.
Thanks and yes but when they put the leafs in he lifted the front way too much. Think he thought I was younger than I look. lol lowered it before I went in for an alignment. Surprised with it lifted and new tires and driving around in Mexico it was almost perfect.
@@jjsoutthere7267 I don't have that issue, they think I look older than I am ( so its your good fortune they see you as young ). I am sure there is some perfect height set for the front end, not sagging too much that its riding on the bump stops as you sit but not cranked way up so that its damaging the ball joints and the tie rods as well ( the factory components can't handle that severe angle ) and the suspension doesn't have the proper droop then either, and it stiffens up the ride quite a bit if cranked up. I think back to the good old days when truck owners knew that the rear end is going to be up higher with no load ... now the mall crawlers seem to think the rear should be NO higher or if as high as the front end with no load, and of course 26" diameter wheels with rubber bands for tire sidewall height LOL. Oh and back to your rear leafs added, in my mind I think that is the most sturdy and maintenance free method and stable, as well as the load is being applied to the proper locations on the frame with the spring eyes rather than stressing the frame with jacked up air bags over the axle. I know this may sound like a waste of time but I wonder if you should go through the pains of pulling the hubs on your new trailer to inspect the amount of grease that was put in or at least one hub just to get an idea of how it was packed at the factory. Good call on going with the heavier axles though in my mind, there is a reason why over weight holiday trailers seem to have far too many bearing failures leaving them stranded at the side of the road with a mangled spindle in a worst case scenario. It might not be a bad idea to have at least a set of bearings and seal if not a whole pre assembled hub as a spare but I realize that means packing more weight yet ... it never ends ( kitchen sink and all ! )
Not really. I had lower stable loads on and felt it was a rough ride. By adding two leafs and removing them gave me a 1/2 lift and at the same time took the stiffness out. I still keep the upper stable load on.
That new toy and trailer are really nice! Sounds like you had an amazing summer. Thanks for sharing your journey, love your videos. Be safe, be kind.

Well will see you at the RTR!!!!
Great to see you back. Glad all is well.
What is the receiver length? I have the same truck and camper set up. Just wondering how long of a receiver I should get.
Glad to see you back !

Nice new toys. What prompted the added leafs. Did you feel the truck and camper was a bit soft?
