For those who don't have easy access to the blocks used in the facade, I used stripped birch logs in place of the sandstone and brick in place of the terracotta, and it looks beautiful!
@@matteoandreoli3222 yeah np. I've been playing like it's Minecraft 2 ever since 1.18 came out. Changed how I play completely. No rushing to get best tools, no elytra, less exploitation of mob spawning mechanics, not bothering with villager trading. It's been a relief to play the game more slowly, and GoldRobin's videos help with that too!
@@commanderhurst3283 that sounds great! My hobbit village has been just a bunch of variations of block-combos, following Goldrobin and Sheranom's designs. My village is in a mountain valley meadow, and I was thinking about how to incorporate the rocky mountain areas into the village. I'll try your cobblestone idea
I found that deepening the interior by 1 block, removing the floor pillar stairs, making the window 2 blocks tall helped the build feel way more open :)
literally in love with this house 😭 only thing i did différent was make the terracotta or whatever block that was pink and added more pink items inside the hobbit hole, this is one of my favorite builds ever. tutorial was easy enough to follow as well, even though the shape of the house was a little confusing, i got it in the end 😻 only took two attempts to get right too so yay
I just built this hobbit hole as a spawn base and I am so pleased with the layout you chose, loving the storage area! Absolutely stunning for how easy this is, thank you for showing us your build.
Also I think you deserve more subs and views than this for the amount of work you've done in these videos. I'm gonna watch your uploads without missing them.
I built this in my one chunk world in a hillside! Had to shorten the interior by a few blocks because I was limited by the world border, but the outside looks awesome. I was lucky to have spawned with birch wood (to replace sandstone) and spruce wood in my chunk! Only issue is glass, at the moment I have a fence in place for the window but am waiting to get a zombie villager to trade for glass :D
@@Capoto After creating the world (with cheats) do the command /worldborder set 16 1 This will set the world border to 16 blocks (1 chunk) over the course of 1 second. Then go into survival mode ad you are all set! Just make sure there is at least some wood in your spawn chunk, otherwise you will not be able to play the game ;)
Absolute lovely and cute build! I like how cozy it looks and it's really cool how functional you've made it with all the chests, crafting table and everything. As a dedicated LOTR fan and MC player, I'd love to build this on one of my survivals sometime. The only thing I'm missing is a fireplace to fit with the chimney. Other than that, well done!
I am going to build many many of your builds in my own minecraft world because like a normal iron farm or super smelter looks ugly and boring in my opinion, but you allways make a really cool design out of it.I love your videos because i allways learn something out of it. Thank you:)
