Hi guys, many thanks for this video. As soon as we watched it, plan to visit. We are here now and have just walked the Torrent. It is beautiful and just right for a 70 yr young man and wife. Many thanks for the entertainment and ideas of where to visit. Stay happy, keep smiling and enjoy.
Brilliant video as always!! We love Snowdonia so will defo put this place on the list. Your Beer review are truly legendary by the way. my wife said you two are the kind of people we love meeting on campsites. 👍👍
Cheers Jason 🙏🏼 It’s a great location for a very local, short but stunning walk! I bet you don’t meet people on campsites drinking Apple crumble & custard ale 😄😄
Brilliant video as always you three ❤ It is expensive in the lake district. We are lucky we get paid to live here really 😊 Looks like a beautiful walk, can't beat a waterfall when we've had lots of rain xx
Thanks 😁 What we want, costs a little more in the lakes but there isn’t a huge difference to be honest. Might just be, the properties available right now seem better value in Wales. Waterfalls make great entertainment but not the best environment to talk to a microphone 😄😄
Lovely video, yours always give an objective honest opinion of the campsites which is very useful. I've decided to book myself in with the Cali to stay a night or two en route to Coniston Park Coppice for a few nights. Heartwarming to see young Jacque having adapted to the van so well and living the best life with you both Oh and what on earth were you thinking drinking that beer? I'd rather drink the washing up water from the dishes after a roast dinner than that abomination... Each to their own I guess. Be lucky.
😄😄😄😄😄 it was genuinely a nice beer, just not nice enough to replace more standard beers. It’s a great location, you’ll love the walk if you explore it 👌🏼 Don’t let Jack fool you into thinking he’s behaving, he’s a great actor but, he absolutely loves the life!
Plagiarism is a terrible thing but I'm afraid Ruth and I are going to prioritise that campsite and do that walk in the very near future! It's dangerously close to the Starbucks that used to sell 'Puppuchinnos' too. When you asked Sarah what time it was, Ruth and I both said, 'beer o'clock' at the same time. I don't know if that says more about us or you. 😬 Great vlog. Hopefully catch up with you soon with a few others.
😄😄 I did say after she said 5:30… “I was expecting you to say beer o’clock” The walk is gorgeous! I can imagine there’d be a few midges in better weather but we didn’t see any, plus there’s plenty of water coming down which is ideal. See you soon 🍻
Another great video - thanks. Coincidentally I had a can of that Northern Monka couple if nights ago at the start of our Northumberland trip. Agree with you - not bad but wouldn't buy a load. The chocolate caramel porter they do however was VERY nice. Might have to try that site although reviews are quite mixed online. I also think £4 pn for a dog is a con. Never seen that much before. Good luck house hunting and hope you make Scotland.
Thanks mate! The chocolate one is called northern star, got one of those in the fridge 👌🏼 I’ve not read any reviews on the campsite, not sure how you’d downgrade it unless you’re pitched up next to idiots but, we liked it, apart from the dog who doesn’t use the facilities but cost £4 😄
Lovely Video, I’ve saved this campsite for another time, thanks for sharing, is the walk close to the site? I always watch but I’ve got a brain like a siv lol 😂
😄😄 yes it’s really easy! Turn right out of the campsite and less than 5 minutes, you’ll see a sign for torrent walk on the right hand side of the quiet country road. If you go over the river, you’ve gone too far 👍🏼
Hasn’t everybody?? 😄😄 It has a curved blade and a built in brush for removing dirt, definitely a gimmick but pretty cheap and enables me to keep my other knives in relevant pockets/pouches to continue to do knife stuff 👍🏼
Superior forest walk, lovely camp and yes, it’s awesome to see you back. 👏💚💚💚
Thanks Michele 🙏🏼
It’s such a beautiful area of Wales 😍
