that_G_EvanP because an incredibly simple and short interaction completely captured Ventura’s character. With barely any speaking, the audience immediately knows what kind of person Blaine is.
I agree "Makes Cambodia look like Kansas" is the character's best line. In one sentence it tells the viewer how experienced this man is, and just how bad this new situation is.

I think this movie is so unique because of all the crazy guys in it. The fact that 2 of them are real vietnam veterans makes it unique, in a similar way like universal soldier where Lundgren and Van Damme the 2 real fighters are the main actors. The predator crew was unique, very excentric tall muscular guys in a jungle. Also the movie was edited really well also the music fit well, the whole atmosphere was amazing. Nowadays they cant produce such classic movies anymore. Late 80s and the whole 90s was gold, the best time in Hollywood for sure

@@thedarkfrost2351 yes. Great scenery. But it doesn't have near the impact of storytelling as Predator. Leonardo is good but overacted, his scenes of being wounded he grunts like he's doing a new bench press max. (Your opinions could be more persuasive without the Ad Homimen attacks. No need to be childish.)
Van Damme seems to have really helped their realization of the predator, though, because they seemed to have no idea how to do it and were doing it unsafely, too.
I still remember back in the day as a little boy seeing those skinned bodies hanging upside down from the trees, this was no average movie. This wasn't the average Schwarzenegger movie either.
