Ok
Every movement from Jesse's chair shook his microphone. Just make a note.
Arnold schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers and Jesse Ventura in the same movie was a great bit of casting!
The art of storytelling: Jesse was a god-tier commentator for a reason.
He was good at lying on commentary, even better when it comes to real life. I give Jesse credit, he can spin a tale better than any man I know. What a guy!
He was kinda cheesy imo. Him and Vince are God awful combo
He's the KING of running his mouth
@@pinkribbonskies5731 he was cheesy in cheesy times
@@pinkribbonskies5731 True, although they had some funny moments together on the mic Jesse wasn't exactly the biggest draw in wrestling like Hogan was.
"Navy Seal, wrestler, biker, actor, Mayor, weed activist, Governor, etc."
Goddamn, Jesse has lived multiple lifetimes 😂
Sounds like a famous tagline for the original Conan the Barbarian film. "Thief. Warrior. Gladiator. King."
Something only a sexual tyrannosaurus can do
UDT, mediocre wrestler, but really a biker, OK mayor, weed activist, so so governor.
He is like the real life Homer Simpsons.
Charismatic and talented, so there you go.
The fact that Vince McMahon was too good to give at least three to five minutes of his time to Jesse “The Body” Ventura tells you more about him as a person. I can see why Ventura hated and rebelled against McMahon. He made a smart decision with the movie and video game.
wrestling was like a circus with carnies. so much bullshit back then.
King Kong Bundy told a story about how he was given the job to sell Apple computers back in the late 80s when Apple first started selling the Macs and how Bundy got royalties and a huge payday from it, and he said that Vince went livid because he told Bundy NOT to take the job and yelled at Bundy.
It's ironic though, he wouldn't accept any messages or phone calls or whatnot unless if it was one person and that was Hulk Hogan. The other ironic thing about it was, was that Hogan left WWF in '93 and Vince hated him, same with Macho Man, Macho Man wanted to wrestle more and Vince wouldn't let him, said "his time has come and gone and you're more suited to be a color commentator!" and when they got the Slim Jim deal, Savage up and left WWF due to disagreements and took the Slim Jim deal with him as well to WCW.
It requires some context, before you can have an opinion. There are always two sides to a story.
Vince has always been a flog ... We all just know it now .. Mr poo poo pants
Video game? Tell me about this!
He killed the part. Ventura is a great storyteller
Yeah, he tells these stories very well. Predator is an all time classic as well.
Yes he tells them so well that everyone believes every word he says.
Vince McMahon must be one of the biggest scumbags to walk the earth…
He did nothing but the most basic hammy acting in what amounted to a 'character actor role' almost entirely around his crazy big muscles. He doesn't enunciate and his character is almost immediately killed off without a fight. He served little purpose but to be a super big muscular guy who's easily killed by Predator SO THAT the audience realizes Arnold, though he's got huge muscles, that will not be enough vs this enemy.
@@batsnackattack JustMe Ventura thinks he should have gotten an Academy Award! 😂
That part was meant for Mr. Ventura.. predator is one of those movies that once i start watching i have to watch the entire thing no matter how many times ive seen it
“I ain’t got time to bleed”
Well, you got time to duck?
He's got more time to lie!
RUclips reactions on that line are hilarious.
This guy sounds alot like Will Sasso..
Sasso is a genius that's why.
Gotta stopnwith the Sasso stuff now😂 Jesse's a freaking legend
@@christophercharlesonelifetime No Sasso does a better Jesse than Jesse himself. Sasso is the legend now.
😅
@Romulan2469 ahhh like Bush being Impersonated. Well...at least with Jesse V he's not some war criminal 😊👏
While Vince didn’t have time to talk to Jesse Ventura, Jesse Ventura didn’t have time to bleed!
I met the guy who provided vocal effects for the creature in that film. He's a legendary voice actor by the name of Peter Cullen, and he's best known as the voice of Optimus Prime in much of the Transformers franchise.
Saw a video demonstration of him doing the noises
@@SRC267, let me guess: From a Q&A panel he did at TFCon in Toronto a few years back?
@@civilwildman yes, it must be that one.
@@SRC267, cool. Saw that too. 🙂
For clarification, I met Peter at Cybercon Expo in NYC, July 30th, 2005. 😉
@@civilwildmanno one cares
Jesse is dug in that interview like an Alabama black tick
The Casting audition for Predator was in the Baja ..
Can tell Jesse is still upset of that phone call
@@NiceDiggz as he should be. It changed so much for him
@@NiceDiggz well wouldnt YOU be if vince snubbed you just because you wanted to tell him you got a movie role?
He was amazing in that role! And speaks the truth when he says he had more talent than hogan.
Can you imagine Hogan doing that role and saying those lines !!! 😂
@@johnny5805deepfake could do that
Yeah he's so amazing that he bashes Arnold's life choices when Arnold literally made him a multi-millionaire. What a great guy he is.
@@Romulan2469 I lost it when he said he stole the movie from Arnold . Not even close ....
@@blankblank5411 I know. The guy is a colossal narcissist and they talk about Hogan and Vince being the only ones with big egos. Jesse's got an ego the size of Jupiter! 😂
what a legend
Screw Vince.
Many did, he was also one to screw back
Why? Vince made him a superstar. Nobody would have heard of Jesse if it wasn't for Vince. We wouldn't even be talking about this clown if it wasn't for Vince giving him that push back in the 80s. Don't be so gullible.
@@Romulan2469 Jessie made Jessie . Not just in Wrestling , but in everything else (Governor , Activist , Actor , Commentator ) . He certainly is nobodies fool , especially Vince Macmahon .
@@adrianvanniasinkam3692 Have you ever thought about becoming his manager?
@@Romulan2469Screw Vince
because he's an asshole. Maybe you have a fetish about being treated like crap by people in power. But Jesse like many other people has a thing called dignity and self respect.
Jesse The Body Ventura, a true legend I can listen to him all day telling stories a big fan of him🤘
And this part led to the legendary role of Captain Freedom!
Predator is my favourite movie of all time and I love everyone associated with it, this dude included
"I don't have time right now for Jessie Ventura's Personal Life" - Vince McMahon
The irony of that quote was, was that when Jesse came back from shooting Predator, he literally walked up to Vince, smirked and said "I've got my union now, Vince!" and walked off. It was also known that Vince wanted to fire Ventura for doing Predator, but the owners of NBC (I think it was NBC) who had given the WWF slots for Saturday Nights Main Event specifically said that they WANTED Jesse Ventura on the show, and when they found out that Vince was planning to fire him out of spite, they threatened Vince with pulling all WWF shows and putting on NWA/WCW shows instead.
Douche comment from a Douche Man ...
It's an iconic role in an iconic film, he clearly made the right choice.
He's a goddamn sexual tyrannosaurus!
Just like me
@@GxttaFrmDaO bunch of slacked jawed
Stick this in your sore ass
@@darrentoon5332slack jawed .. yes.. yes what else did he say? Almost there

He performed every line in that movie like he was delivering a promo.
one of the best movie i've ever seen .....one of those perfect movie
The best action movie ever made
@@Njbear7453 facts
Love me some Jessie! Him and gorilla calling matches …. Perfection
I never thought much of Vince McMahon, though it was a genius move on Vince's behalf putting Ventura on the mic with Gorilla.
I need more stories from this man.
Keyword being "stories".
Predator is definitely in my top ten favorite movies of all time.
Such an iconic Man, I watched predator several times and never realised that there were 7 actors...Sometimes less is more.
Shaterday night live.
I'm surprised after Jesse hung up the phone on George Scott that Vince didn't phone Jesse back like two minutes later yelling...WHAT THE HELL YA DOIN PAL??
Vince and Jesse hated each other legitamately, he goes into it a lot in this interview with Chris. Before Wrestlemania 2, Jesse got up on a chair in the locker room and said "right, this is the time to unionize! Wrestlemania 2 is nearly here, we can simply say "We don't want to wrestle unless we have a union" and did his spiel about it.
It later turned out due to the deposition that Vince was under due to Ventura suing him for lost royalties over the VHS tapes with Ventura on them, Jesse's lawyer went to Vince and asked him "Did anyone ever say something about a union?" and Vince went "I think Jesse Ventura spouted his mouth off about it." and Ventura's lawyer then said "Did you see him say it?" and Vince went "No" and then Ventura's lawyer went "Well HOW did you know he SAID it?" and Vince flat out with no hesitation went "Hulk Hogan told me!".
George C. Scott?
Jesse Ventura is an excellent story teller. He remembers everyone's name and all the details while being entertaining in the telling.
Predator, one of the greatest action movies of all time, I've seen it over 100 times, yet the greatness comes out every single time ! Every single character in the movie did their hard work.
Jesse Ventura was good in Predators.👌👍😊 Would have been interesting seeing him in a dark comedy ore a Horror movie 🙂
He probably made more off that movie than wrestling
Maybe vs a single payday.
@@JonCombo I was thinking royalties included
@@herculesmwp7983 Problem is, he made good money in wrestling for many years, and has royalties for that too.
@@JonComboI thought Vince stopped playing his matches so he wouldn't get royalties? Am I wrong? I don't have the best wrestling knowledge
We met down in the Baja.
Predator is absolutely perfect.
He had the best line in the whole film and he NAILED it! 🇬🇧🏆🇺🇲
He fit perfectly in his role . He did an amazing Character in the Predator.
Back in the day I definitely wasn’t a Jesse fan! But after his governor win it started to turn now as of late definitely have a lot of respect for the man!
Jesse Ventura= PAINLESS. Every man should have one in his arsenal.
"everybody in California was going after that role"😂😂😂
Vince said tell Jesse I don't have time to bleed
First time I've ever heard checkhalkua tyrannosaurs
Early stage of dementia.
I don't think anyone could have played that part besides Jesse.
1987 Predator I is a Classic.
...and then he went on to utter one of the most iconic lines in cinematic history.
My dad showed me Predator when I was 8 or 9(39 now) I’ve seen it a countless amount of times, all time great! A man’s man movie.
The testosterone level of every dude in this movie is off the f'n charts. God bless The Body!!
He could say something like this: Man, I got into wrestling at the absolutely golden peak and Hulk Hogan absolutely opened a new and very lucrative door for me (and others) when he was a first of us to break into big Hollywood starring role type movies. Because Hulk became a massive star in demand, studios were looking everywhere for a backup Hulk Hogan, a similar thing and low and behold I was standing right there.
He could simply NOT say that a massive reason he got that kind of role was because Hulk Hogan was way too busy with 20 other movies and deals to do that role.
Just say "movies were looking for big crazy bodybuilder wrestler types and there I was!".
Nope. He's got to be the usual liar-boy with a hate angle where he's the best.
Good video
He should’ve done more movies. He was entertaining af.
He did The Running Man too
In my opinion PREDATOR is the absolute Top Nr.1 Action movie ever.
A simple and straight story, incredible perfect cast (incl Black, Chaves, Landham and Duke) made every single member of the group a unique guy, not sex scenes thatdisturbs the story, no love story or love interest, no family thing...pure Action.
The movie made the M 134 a new and spectacular weapon effect in Action movies, and its so gory and thrilling about.
The storyline is perfect, first you see the ultimate machos, then scary horror with skinned green Berets, elite fighters, you see that these few guys erase a complete camp of fighters and then the ultimate shock of the "undescribable attacker" and the death of Blain...thats the moment you know that EVERYTHING can happen and how easy the Predator can kill one by one...
And i think the most remarkable thing and man in the group is Blain, Jesse Ventura. Top coolness, unique style (Aussie hat), huge body and this crazy Minigun.
Ventura is the proof that the perfect casting is a key for a Blockbuster success.
And: Its interesting that they can do a Masterpiece of Action just with a hand full of Actors...incl the Predator there are 10 Actors in it...no Car chases, exploding buildings etc. Compare it with Die hard or Lethal weapon and you see what i mean.
He played his character role very well.
I heard Dr. Disrespect, EDP445, Chris Tyson and Mr. Beast are also auditioning
Good on Ventura to accept the part, he killed it. Anybody else would have also told Vince to shove it.
Was in the running man also.
Used to work out with Jesse at World Gym East in Hamden, CT early to mid 1980's while he was still wrestling. I remember when he went off to Mexico to film Predator. One note: he was closer to 6'2" than his claimed 6'4".
Hard to imagine anyone else playing the part, perfect casting.
Never fails to bury Hogan.
Back when they movie came out, who would believe both Arnold and Jesse would become State Governors
"Ain't got time to bleed in BAAAAAHHAAAA & The Pleasure is ALL Yours !!" Thank You Jesse for many years of entertainment. 👍👍👍
Love Ventura, even with his Riff-Raff Rocky Horror hairdo.
Hard to believe it’s been that long ago the movie was released. I always remember the line hey man you’re bleeding…I AINT GOT TIME TO BLEED….
Imagine if Hogan had Jesse’s spot in Predator…Entertainment politics BS whatever…imagine it! Hulk gets the role, the whole movie changes
If Hogan had gotten it, he would have been demanding to be top bill instead of Arnold. Then again, Arnold would have stretched Hogan till he passed out if he did that.
Nice to see Jesse leaning into the Seal thing...He used to mention it now and again I think...:)...
No wayyyyy. I had no idea that- that was who that was when watching Predator & I’ve seen that movie at least 7 times
Vince was dug in like an Alabama Tick.
Clearly. He has so much more talent than hulk hogan, because he has won so many awards for his acting. 😅
Technically, he wasn't a Seal. He served in a UDT team, which was separate to a Seal. He did graduate BUDS, though.
Jesse is an amazing person period.
Jesse back in WWF, and Vince Ousted. Oh how fortunes have turned.
I love the guy. Legendary WWF ring commentator that pissed me off as a kid! hahaha.
My favorite movie of all time i ain't got time to bleed😂
Jesse is so bitter at Hogan lol
Jesse is a first Rate guy. No bullshit, tells you how it is. A man good for his word. I've read a lot about him. The kinda guy you want as a friend and neighbor.
Now film is a classic
He was perfect in role of Blain👍
“I ain’t go time to interview, just give me the role.”
"Makes Cambodia look like Kansas". I've said this in a few countries.
Jesse is a huge success no matter what avenue he pursues... just ask him, he'll tell ya
Got us dug in like a alabama tick 😂
I was distracted trying to figure out if the light display in the background was reflecting their voice data or just random.
Barry and Jackie knew what they were doing!❤
Don’t tell me you never got 4 minutes in you, Vince. I know, I was there.
I'm a frog man Vince
I love the smell of BULLSHIT in the morning 😂😂😂
This guy has one of best lived lives in American, maybe world
, history.
Jesse is the Man! 👍🏿
The term “iconic” gets thrown around too much these days and should only be reserved for historic, long lasting and influential individuals, places, events. His character is one of them.
two future governors were in the movie on Predator. 🤣
Is it just me or his he still a damn good looking guy.
Cool story man, great movie
“Jesse looks like he held things for Steven Tyler in WWF.”
Does Will Sasso know Jesse Ventura is impersonating him?
I can’t imagine anyone else doing that role
Rumor has it to prepare for the role in Predator he wanted to immerse himself into a secluded environment. This chance encounter with the "BAA-HAA" would entice him to later make it his home 😆😆
Miss you mustard and your voice commentating
Must be sunny in that studio.
Big fan of Jesse Ventura
