    CORRECTION!! - This tensioner DOES NOT come with the M or L style insert as he stated in this video. You will need to figure out which one your machine uses (M or L) and buy it separately. Not sure how he had an insert in the package. However, if you read all the comments on Amazon about this exact issue, you will see it clearly does not come with the piece. It only costs about $10 for the insert, but completely ridiculous they don't include it and cause confusion.

      We can not speak as what is supplied by other resellers. However The Towa gauge as supplied by Echidna Sewing does come standard with the L style adapter directly from the Manufacturer. We also now supply it with two additional adapters manufactured by our company. These adaptors are designed to suit the late model bobbin cases as stated in the video. The M style adapter is available as an optional extra..

    How do I know which adapter to use as I have Brother Stellaire xj1 and Innovis F420 machines and use A bobbins? Great video, very informative!

    • @EchidnaClub
      @EchidnaClub  Год назад

      @rebwolfe2702 Which Brother machine do you have? The Brother machines normally use an L or an A bobbin. If it is a domestic machine you need the insert for the right type of bobbin case that you have.

    Can you show me the way ajust top tension with Towa tension gauge ( I use Brother Nv880e).

    • @EchidnaClub
      @EchidnaClub  Год назад +1

      @tungvo4686 Hi there, you would adjust the top tension in the settings of the machine but if you have set the bobbin case tension correctly using the Towa gauge, you should have the top tension set on 00. If the top tension is not correct, there may be another issue happening with your machine. Can you give us any further information as to what is happening?

    I have machines that use the Class 15 bobbin, which is the same diameter as the L style. TOWA has an analog gauge (TOWA BTG2 TM2) for the Class 15A bobbin. When using the Digital Gauge, TOWA has adapters for the TM1 and TM3 (aka L and M), but I can't find an adapter for it to mimic the TM2 (Class 15). If the Class 15 bobbin is the same diameter as the L style, do we use the L adapter?If you don't know the answer, could you please ask your TOWA distributor? Thanks.
