Nothing beats a manual transmission. It gives driving a whole new feeling besides being damn near indestructible. PS if you know how to drive one, the clutch is the weakest link, if your smooth with that they are basically trouble free. Luxury cars and such ? Automatic of course, especially the new 8-10 speeds. They finally figured out that if they give a car some legs and don’t spin the motor to death there’s an increase in MPG imagine that.

I really like your video. I'm a headlight guy too. I have purchased a 2021 2 door badlands Bronco. The headlights are completely different on the badlands. They do sport the Halo effect that you are talking about In your video. Another thing that is different from mine to yours Is your turn signal The turn signal on my Bronco runs from the grill through the center of the headlight. Yours runs from the grill to the side of the light. I do like your base model because it offers complete customization of the Bronco. I did not order my Bronco. I got lucky. The sales manager of a Ford dealership had ordered my Bronco for himself. His daughter was having a baby. And his daughter ended up having twins. So he ordered a 4 door order for the grand kids. I just happened to be at that Ford dealership when they put it out on the lot. What's the price of $62,000 I was Then approached by a salesman who asked me if I liked the Bronco. Of course I said yes. He then proceeded to tell me that the Bronco was $90,000. I quickly took a picture of the price on the Bronco that reflected $62,000 And told him that was the price I was gonna pay for it not $90,000. Long story short I got my way. So I added the extended warranty in the maintenance program. Simply put I replace tires and gas is in gas Ford does the rest for 75000 miles.

Dude...u have the most honest & humble review I've seen yet. A majority of Bronco enthusiasts vids I've seen are people wanting all the bells & whistles. My wife & I had the Bronco Sport Outer Banks with the 3 "silly" engine for a year. Great on gas, but we got smoked by smart cars all day (I'm exaggurating lol). We initially wanted the big boy Bronco but missed the reservations. We now have the base full size & luv luv luv it!!! We had the throwback steelies as well but upgraded to 17's with 35's(negative 12 offset) & people are consistantly complimenting us on our base Broncosaurus. I agree with you fully on not having all the options. We really don't miss all the fluff from the bells & whistles. Also....the price ranges for upgrades were in the thousands! -Forget all that noise! We're making it our own & enjoy doing it! Also, we enjoy seeing what other fans are doing to theirs. #1 Thing I Don't Like About the Bronco - The '22 dealer allocation formula
The Bronco is nearly impossible to get for many long time reservation holders. Any dealer whose slice of the Bronco reservations is greater than their slice of overall Ford sales is going to have reservation holders waiting while other dealers will have dealer stock. Ford has reneged on their commitment to deliver reservations before dealer stock. For customers that reserved at smaller dealers who have fully embraced the Bronco, it will take years for them to get a delivery. Shame on Ford for pandering to large dealerships.

The upcoming raptor has orange rings in the headlights instead of white.. for that "sinister" look, and yes I agree fords wheel options were pretty lame and I did the same and got the base bronco and will be upgrading as I see fit. One other note you can fit 35" tires under the base stock bronco by removing the crash bars, that's how they do it on sasquatch equipped Broncos. they are literally bolt in and was designed to be removed. aslo if you look on your inner wheel liners there is a easter egg, printed in the liner it says "LIFT ME BABY!"

A couple of questions, if I may. Does this base model Bronco have skid plates as standard equipment from the factory? Can you tell us (or tell us how to research) which gear has a 1:1 ratio?
Before I read some of the other comments, I assumed I’d be the odd man out with regard to the wheels. I LIKE them. They say, “Funcion over fluff!”
It seems I’m not the only oddball out there. Several other people like ‘em too.
So the following is for all the other nut cases in the same boat as I am.
The year was 1999. My wife and I were driving a base model 1989 4-door Isuzu Trooper base model that had taken us on more than 100 camping and picnic trips to places far off of paved roads. It had about 180,000 miles on the odometer but our children were now grown and had vehicles of their own.
We had never had a Jeep brand vehicle but, one day while I was at work, my wife decided to see what kinds of Jeeps were on Jeep dealer’s lots within twenty miles from where we lived. (Isuzu no longer offered the Trooper with a 4-cylinder engine - at least not in the ‘States.) On her shopping trip, my wife wore jeans, old beat-up riding boots, no jewelry and no makeup. Upon arriving at one of the dealerships, she was greeted by a salesman who asked how he could help her.
She asked whether he could show her the least expensive Jeep the dealer had in stock.
Well, he took her to a vehicle he represented as the least expensive Jeep on the lot and said, “See, it even has the pretty wheels!”
My wife later said she had to chew on her tongue to NOT reply, “Do I look like I care about pretty wheels!”
A few days later - at another dealership - we bought the least expensive model of Wrangler with rear seats and the hard top but with the 4-cylinder engine, the manual transmission and (drum roll please) the standard 15” x 6” painted steel wheels. Those wheels were big enough to mount 235/75R15 tires and the few people who subsequently observed that rig in action on primitive (unimproved) roads were astonished at where it could go. Oh, and the Chili-pepper Red exterior color was no-extra-cost and went well with the tan hard top and tan seats.

To answer your question, no, the Base does not have skid plates, you have to step up to the next higher model, the Big Bend for those.
I like the wheels too, I'm likely ordering a Bronco later this month when Ford starts accepting orders for them again. I've been going back and forth between a Base and a Big Bend, but will likely stick with the Base as this truck will be my daily driver and not something I'm going to play in the dirt much with.
Your wife sounds like a keeper, you're a lucky man!

I've driven a lot of cars, including high end examples like Porsche GT3 RS, BMW M5, Ferrari 488, McLaren 600LT, etc and to be honest with you this steering wheel is fine. I wouldn't think the non-leather wrapped thing would matter to most. That being said, you could probably DIY to the leather wrapped one later if you wanted.

You had stated in your video That Ford had a bigger 4 cylinder a 2.7 later The fact is the 2.7 l is a leader is a V6. The Manual transmission is a 7 speed and is only available in 2021 with the 21 with the 2.3 l In 2022 you will be able to option does 7 speed manual transmission with the 2.7 l V6. Now i have read about the 2.7L's 330hp. 415pft. Both the 2.3L displacement and the 2.7L displacement are nothing new to Ford. Back in the seventies Ford sported a 2.3 l overhead Cam engine and they also sported a 2.7 l V6. Now nothing in the seventies had a lot of horsepower I believe the 2.3L had 85 horse and the 2.7L V6 had a 105 Don't know the torque numbers I'm sure they wouldn't be impressive. After all there were still disco Dance clubs. The interesting thing about the 2.7L later V6 of the seventies it sported a solid Cam shaft and lifter and gear drive instead of a timing chain. Making that little 2.7 l bullet proof for the day.

The back door shock does that so the back door doesn't swing wide open and rip right off its hinges, like if the wind caught it one day when you opened it or if you drove away with your back door not completely shut.

2 door base model for "kid vehicle" doesn't make sense, shoulda bought the 4 door and spent some money for a black diamond.... no offroading, no 4wd required, heavy SUV with a small motor and bad mpg, could've gotten something better for a family vehicle.
