I know that people are wary of tornados in Missouri, but I have lived in the state since the 1980s and I have never actually seen one. You have advance warning, and my house in St. Louis has a brick closet in the basement that used to be a coal storage bin. There is usually advance warning, and certainly it would be safe down there.

So where is the best place to buy a house for $ 225.00 or under , and be 35 minutes away from Springfield?
Less than $225,000 and within 35 mins of Springfield?
Shoot, any of the suburbs you can get a great house for $225,000! Also, west side Springfield would be a great option too! Anything east of 65 would be amazing to get, but might be a rare sight to see.

@@wiserlivingrealty yes ... I Run a swimming pool company here for 25 years . But Seattle has now become California with Tech jobs paying 6 fig income... Renting a house or an apartment or a condo here has become ridiculously overpriced...
And the same thing has happened now to real estate and new home prices... So affordable housing is unattainable for incomes under 30k a year... 1 bedroom apts... $1050 to $1600 for Snohomish County... Average House that's old... $450k and up... New Construction $700k. To 1miilion for 3 bedroom 2 bath...
We're being forced out because tech jobs pay high salaries.. and California keeps moving to Washington because it's cheap compared to Cali
