I hate you went through all that trouble converting from power to manual, I can't remember the numbers but I have weighed a manual door and a power door and the manual weighed more. Best thing to do instead of cutting up your doors is get some 90 to 93 doors there crash bars are not so big and heavy.

Also, once your car goes a certain ET at the track you have to have a roll cage. So, removing weight is the right thing.

It’s not the same, the more the weight is in the center of a vehicle the better it is the key is to put the weight were you want it.
