I disagree about Cavill’s portrayal of Clark Kent. In BvS ultimate edition his performance as Clark is well done. He’s a reporter who actually investigates! He travels to Gotham and interviews various civilians about Batman. He takes a keen interest on Batman and argues with Perry White over Batman and the need to expose him. I liked this portrayal. Sure the disguise is basic but the portrayal fits perfectly within the tone and narrative of Synder’s superman. I like the fact that he wasn’t the typical geeky, nervous, unassuming version that we are used to. You know that version where he’s trying too hard to be normal. Your commentary on legacy is sound. I agree on all your points.
I don't really like the way the new superman movie looks either, but I have to disagree with you saying that the cinematography is lazy and washed out. I don't think that it's lazy for them to have a lot of motion in it and I think if anything, it looks to oversaturated. To me the main problems that I have with the cinematography is the aspect ratio and the lenses seem to be really wide, even on close ups. The aspect ratio makes it feel more like a tv show because its too tall
The cinematography is intentional to tell the story they want to tell. It correlates to the Fabric of it. Wide lenses, aspect ratio is telling a story about the legacy of superman through the narrative of different characters.
There are 6 other comments and 2 are complaining about krypto. He has a dog in the comics. Henry cavill caused a whole generation to know who superman even is! People only like Cavill because his looks! And how is the camera work lazy? The complaints about this are stupid! Just watch man of steel forever where superman is a gladiator
Krypto will kill this movie. Not all of us are dog lovers. The general audience do not associate superman with a dog. Its existence within the film will create a polarising effect, some will love and some will hate it. Everything else looks clean except this one element. Years from now people will say this - “ what did you think of superman legacy? Is that the one with the dog? Yeah I think I prefer Man of steel.” 😂
@@master-of-mind5881 you told me that you're a kid without even telling me Cus I mean only kids say such online to appear like adults idk But whatever the case don't use jokes on people's mom ok

If a dog with 2 minutes of screen time will ruin the movie then... okay
I'm sorry but most of your complaints are bullshit and not logical at all.
Cinematography looks weird. Suits looks cheap. (like.. Old Cw) too many characters to introduce. Stray dog..... Lex luthor looks as bad as Jesse.
