- I ride my fat bike out on a decommissioned FSR to access Mt Sampson. Then make some Huckleberry jam with Amanda. And also find a fix for my damaged Ninja Foodi! Sorry about not uploading in 4k anymore, I have been uploading from my phone and without good high speed WiFi access. Hope everyone is doing good and enjoying the summer!

Something very calming about watching Forestry do his thing.
You could be having a bells palsy episode.
It's just nice. It is what we should be doing, what we are supposed to be doing. We can all have our own way, but this is what we are supposed to be doing.
@MrKnowitalmostall Well Nope not at all
Perhaps the freedom of the outdoors allows him to reach a state of enlightenment.
How is it that he doesn’t get lost? 😳
literally the best drone cinematography in the game.. .still getting better somehow.
Truth...
Thank you, appreciate that!!
And some of the best tunes with those shots👍

Sorry. I don't know how anyone can be in a bad mood after watching his videos. I hope your day is better tomorrow.
Moving into my minivan on Wednesday, wish me luck!
I needed this , such hectic world.
Merry Christmas.
Me too!
Give love to the confusion. You will be hurt but it will be beautiful.
Dude I was feeling the same way
We need another episode starting with the 'Foresty- Forest' Jingle
Absolutely breathtaking!!! I’m 95% sure (actually 100% sure) I’ll NEVER visit these beautiful mountains; so thank you for allowing me to hitch a virtual ride with you.
It is not that hard to get here. Book a flight to Calgary or Vancouver after covid. Rent a car at the airport, or rent a small camper van in the city, but you must stay on paved roads, one can see A LOT from the main highways. NEVER, EVER, go on gravel/dirt backroads without a lot of skill and experience, the same with any foot travel off of well-marked, well-used trails, it is VERY easy to get into SERIOUS difficulty. Use the official provincial tourism websites to plan your trip, and reserve lodging and campgrounds well in advance. There are aerial cable-cars to mountain-tops in the towns of Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper, Golden, Revelstoke, Whistler, and Vancouver City, a little pricey ($50 each) but worth it. Best time to travel is late June or very early July, forest fire smoke may affect the views after then, and some things are still closed in early June. I have lived here all my life, and know the whole region and where Foresty goes very well. Socially, it is a safe area.
There’s been a huge jump in the overall quality of these videos the past few months without taking yourself too seriously. That’s a tough balancing act. Well done 👍
SO happy that you let us know that it was HONEY that you added to your berries. At first I thought you added mayonnaise!! Yuck! Lol
hahah gross!
I put mustard in mine

All those people going by in the parking lot, unaware they are so close to the magnificence that is Foresty Forest!👑 Our hero & champion.
People walking by..."Why do I smell pickles?"
@@stevehouston5650 That too!😁
I live in Arizona which is a place that's widely renowned for its natural beauty. But when i watch these videos, all i can think is that I'm not meant for the high desert and i realize my happiness can only be found in the rugged northern mountains. Thank you Simon for making me realize there's hope in the world out there.
Wait his name is Simon? How long have I not known this dude's real name?
The American Southwest is probably a damn close second for sure, and maybe in a different way of it's own equal, but from what Foresty and Steve, and others have posted, the Alberta/B.C. area is absolutely Gods Country... It is mesmerizing. I don't even believe in a God (well maybe Nature) but damn man. It is absolutely breathtaking with a touch of flutter in the heart.
You should do a Foresty Forest Back-Country cookbook. The "by scratch" dishes you cook in your van amaze me!
This is important work he is doing.... And yeah I like a laugh, but I actually mean this. Especially now. If I hadn't messed my life up I'd be meeting up with him and Amanda for a nice little hike and cooking gear demonstration... Oooof. So gratefuld for this.
I always come away with a sense of majestic serenity. The last untouched wilderness. Spectacular hikes, delicious home cooking, and the occasional maintenance project.
Most of us probably don't have the internet streaming speed for 4K anyway. This all looks fantastic at 480 even!
F.F., You are shockingly talented with your drone and camera work and editing, ETC... What a guy. You are so well loved and appreciated. Hope you know that...
there must be a decent air fryer blueberry pie recipe you can try out
Betcha a McDonald's-style "pie" with huckleberry filling and a cinnamon dusting on the outside would fry up mighty fine. Don't forget the ice cream.
@@russellmcpherson36 That sounds fantastic, I hope Forest sees this!
Just make a cobbler instead of a pie... Much easier, and also tastier (in my opinion anyway).
The spicy fat bike content that us old timers on the channel love!
Right on I miss them so much, I think ff likes the comfort of the truck.
Amen!
You cracked me up when you "exploded on the screen" lolololololol😂
That intro was a work of art. Your editing and drone work is becoming next level. A welcome break in my day seeing you have uploaded for us all, especially here in Victoria Aus where you cannot travel more than 5km from your home!
Must agree. You've got a great eye and a good sense of timing.
We are in Sydney Phil but lived near those mountains back in the late 1960's and Forestys movies are just so good reminding us of what we are missing . Like many in Victoria we were hoping to go off travelling up to QLD and NT this year but that all gone to hell !
I wonder, if your home is a van like FF how does the 5km rule work?
@@theintrovertadventurer9640 That might frustrate the system !
@@theintrovertadventurer9640 Not too sure, but it would defo be more fun than this. Only so many bike tracks! Have done them forward backwards and on foot but the walls are starting to close in!
I am constantly amazed by the scenery and stunning drone footage. Best wishes Russ from the UK
Foresty is leaving a visual legacy of the Canadian landscape for future generations.
@@scottroofer4975 I would love too but looked into it and doesn’t seem easy.
It’s like he has a full film crew following him around. He’s amazing at it.

👍
You do such a masterful job of using drone shots like crane/gimble shots and then adding in recorded audio to replace the buzz of the drone. Well done dude!
Thank you!
Yep I have to agree 👍 Mr.FF - you are on another cinematographic level 😮 Ps In trying to read my comment back,I’m not convinced that my word is a real one wink…..but in essence I’m agreeing 😉
I love all the comments about how this was the video needed right now! And I agree, it’s been a rough couple of days, and your videos are a nice escape!
I am glad I am not the only one thinking the same man. Really. It has, there has been a lot of compounding shit the last couple days, my personal shit, the world, big decisions made, etc.... This is what is up and where it is at. I am grateful. Also, if you and I and others are feeling this way maybe we need to make a real change, find our escape. The, "normal" way, the way that society has told me to go since getting my life back together, I really don't feel that is the way. What he is doing is what makes me happy.
It’s 2:20 am and I have work in 6 hours so of course I’m going to watch this right now …..
Amazing what Foresty did in 12.5 hours! Give the man a substantial pay raise!
You and Amanda make a cool hiking team
glad as hell amanda joined up
I see Foresty Forest upload, I click...
I am a simple man and simple things please me.
Watching Foresty doing simple things inspire me to do simple things to feel fulfilled.
Scenery....breathtakingly gorgeous!
The scenery is so beautiful!! Without you in my life, I would never of been able to see this part of our world. Thank you!!🙋♀️💜✌
What a life this guy has.
The effort to get these videos out is appreciated so much.
I thought you were putting Mayo in with your berries LOL, glad you added the "honey" subtitle. Thanks for another awesome video!
And now for something completely different
There was more in the first 20 seconds of this fine Foresty Forest rendition than others have in 20 minutes!
facts.🍻😁🕺✌😎
Ninja engineering department taking frantic notes as Foresty gets to work
The places you go! It sometimes doesn't even look like we live on the same planet!
Your tenacity is second to none!! (And the b-roll/drone footage is spot on)
You are the new Macgyver! I really like Fenix products. I use them and NiteCore. One thing I always look for is a headlamp that has a red LED so I can preserve my night vision. Thanks!
So glad you mentioned you were drying the pickles because for a bad moment there, I thought you were wiping them off with a baby wipe. 😱😛
Thats only for his Meat Lol!

Thank you so much for the beautiful film, nature and your music 🎶 choices are so soothing and bring joy to many 😊 🏔
The drone company needs to hire you and give you tons of free stuff! Amazing footage yet again Foresty! Crushed it!
It's good to spend time with people, I'm glad Amanda is there with you
I so enjoy everything about your channel. Thanx forestry.
I like heating up jams till they're watery, then use them as pancake syrup. DELICIOUS! 🥞
The Huckleberry jam looked incredible with that fluffy Flatbread!!
Rock on Forestry Forest
Yes rock on.
The view from that mountain is absolutely stunning.
The Canadian tourist bored should buy you a golden croc pot for showing all the beautiful scenery🤩🙏🤘🥇👊🏼
Beautiful mountain peaks and fried pickles. This channel has everything. 💜
Fix the Ninja....Wow, what a bang! Brings me back to watching Flubber with my daughter like some 20 years ago, lol.
even though your pressure cooker is new, the seals sometimes get dry. protip: wet your fingers run them over the plastic/rubber seal and move it a bit clockwise, then close the top, and you'll get a quality lasting seal
OMG.... Bears with Chainsaw's....
Great drone shots of Mountains & Clouds...
I'm amazed you found your bike...
I love the shady look around when you drilled that nut out, like you were doing something illegal.
This is the real thing in the great outdoors...
The music at start was nice man... Glad to see you having fun again...
It’s so awesome to see how much your drone skills have improved over time. your shots are stunning
That opening was awesome! Beautiful music and photography!
Super creative hiking, videography and cooking👍
You are the true King of DIY unlike another Canadian channel that goes by that name. 😆
It is rare that you see anyone take their fat bikes to what they are designed to do. Thanks Foresty for these videos! Stay safe out there
Wow, I’m only a minute in and the scenery is beautiful!
Best channel on RUclips, bar none.
Watching Foresty stumble across all those berries on his way up a mountain really makes me wonder why I invest so much time and money into my garden.
That is so beautiful. What a scenery and views.
Good video, FF. Was hoping you'd be able to find your bike on the way back thru the jungle. 🚲 👍🏻 Berries are worth picking. I picked several pounds of blueberries this year. Look forward to adventures with Amanda.
You know ff could stand for f*ck face lol 😂

At first I was like, Forestry Forest is the Bob Ross of Van life/hiking. But now it’s Bob Ross is the Forestry Forest of painting
I always get in a better mood after watching forestry forest after a stressful work day!
I liked the cg “explosion” when you plugged in the pressure cooker. BOOM
FF!!! Wrap havarti cheese around the pickle and then flour with egg or wrap the pickle and cheese with an egg roll wrap. Air fry. Dip in ranch. You will not regret it 🥰
I find your videos quite relaxing and so serene. Thank you

This came at the perfect time, thanks Foresty!
You ate all the jam you made in ONE sitting!!!
Single serving size👍
Awesome let fix this awesome job 🛠️🇨🇦🛠️🇨🇦
Amazing video as always. Nice to see a Violife and Daiya cameo too.
I amazed you keep finding your way back to bike and van in all that dense foliage.
It always makes me nervous when I see you riding your bike through that heavy brush because I have been bushwhacking and twice I’ve startled grizzlies which I shudder to think about
Love the exploding Ninja. Amazing scenery. Its great watching you do your thang.
So glad you said honey, because I was thinking the elevation got to you, and you were adding mayonnaise ha.
FF your videos are the highlight of my week. Thanks for cheering up the workforce
Great music with the drone shots, which really has me jonesing to be out there….that said, I would get so lost. I probably would lose my bike too…lol
The Crock is still watching Foresty. You know that is what is causing all of your woes lol. Love ya man. Really. You are a real awesome guy. I am so happy I found you (through Steve). Love and respect for all that you do. At the very lowest least, you are helping me get through some hard shit.

Warrantees be damned!! Fix that fryer!! DIY FORRESTY again!!! Love it!!! 125 in the bag.
Simon you always Do !!!! What a wonderful view as always!!!! Musik too!!!
The music in this is SOOOOO perfect. I would NEVER be opposed to this type of music in each video, unless your mud bogging, that may need hardcore music. 2:14 had me in awe. Amazing, man, amazing content. Also, LOL, at your bomb guy edit.
Foresty Forest...the most free human.
I am every single time impressed by your kitchen/living room/...actually everything. Keep doing what you are doing. I wish I could hike like you, unfortunately my knees do not cooperate (anymore), especially when walking downhills. Have to hike the flat-lands, lol. The drone footage is mind boggling, as always. This is just so beautiful! Wow!
I was gifted with a basket filled with assorted huckleberry products. The jams and jellies were awesome! With homemade biscuits and a bit of butter spread, the huckleberry jam made me weak at the knees. Very tasty and satisfying. And you all see how beautiful it looks when it's spread over bread.
I love it......complete description of what not to do, complete with video support.
Your videos are by far some of the best of Canadian RUclipsrs. Your opening segue was excellent.
amazing opening to this video - stunning footage - fun hike, delicious looking huckleberry concoction. Another great video FF
